I was looking to change up my work-from-home routine and was so happy to find this coffee shop! I got a cappuccino when I came here, which was good with pretty latte art on top. The best part is the space, which is beautifully decorated - a bit of airy natural light in the front, some old-timey dark academic feel in the back. There's high-top, sofa, and table seating, perfect for any sort of gathering - whether it's to have coffee with friends, or study, or work. There are plenty of students studying here. Logistically, the space wasn't completely filled when I was here, but I could see it getting busy at times. Parking is a bit limited (it's located in a complex with some other shops). You get 2 hours (iirc) of free wifi with each purchase, which I think is a fair way for the shop to make sure people who continue to use the space are also ordering. read more

I used to work at Backyard Beans in Ambler, PA--where we had some of the best cold brew around--and I have to say, this one put up a serious fight. Honestly, it might be the best cold brew I've had so far. Easy 5 out of 5. I enjoyed every sip. Iced Latte I also got an iced latte, which was super creamy and had a hint of something like graham cracker. Subtle but really enjoyable. It didn't need syrup to add sweetness if you need that. I'd give it a solid 4.5 out of 5. Both drinks were great! Space & Vibe The shop itself is pretty spacious. I didn't sit down this time, but it looks like a good spot to get some work done. Chill atmosphere with enough room to breathe. I also really enjoy the layout of service, going left to right with a bench to wait for drinks at, something most coffee shops don't create for customers after ordering. Variety They've got unique options like pistachio cold brew and other creative flavors if you're into that kind of thing. But what really won me over is how well they nailed the basics. If you can do a cold brew right, I trust you with the rest. Price It was a bit pricey--around $15 for two drinks--but the quality justifies it in my opinion. It's been a minute since I reviewed on yelp. Being new in town I figured it's a good time to start again and this becomes my reminder for go to places. I come here a lot for my chai tea latte especially a couple of days during the week when I have a drive. My chai is great & love the cinnamon topping. And they're fast.. They also offer pastries and sandwiches. I've had a couple of items. Good enough to eat. Maybe that's why the four instead of the five stars. Lots of seating inside and out. Although few options for 4+ inside. Easy parking outside and underneath in the garage. They also have a little convenience store inside for urgent needs without having to drive to a grocery store. I live in The Village and come to B&B semi regularly! Drinks are always made quickly and the baristas are really nice. The shop has lots of open seating and is a nice place to work from home or do homework. There's lots of plants and it definitely has a cute vibe! I do wish there were more full sized tables and it seems people tend to scatter for the booths when they do become available as there are only 3 of them. Love this coffee spot! We got the Texas something nitro and it was so good. Great balance of acid, sweetness and cinnamon. Off the bat, the vibes of this place are awesome! The Village neighborhood is beautiful, so the location is great. It was pretty busy when I walked in so luckily, I was only taking my stuff to go (but a busy shop must mean they're great right?!) So, I was confident what I was ordering would be good. The barista who took my order was really sweet and helpful and had such a good attitude. I got the "Purple Haze" half sweet - which is an iced matcha with lychee syrup and ube cold foam. I love how they were doing something unique and different! It was really tasty; the flavor was great! I will say that the matcha did need to be whisked more, since there were a lot of clumps in the drink - but that could just be a onetime fluke. I'm a Village resident and I love this coffeeshop. The staff is very friendly, the espresso drinks are spot-on and have great presentation, and the atmosphere is great for getting work done (especially as a grad student). However, the best part about this coffee shop is Jack's acoustic live set on nearly every Saturday 12-3. Early on whenever I moved here he found out I played the harmonica and invited me to start playing with him and the other musicians he invites for a couple songs during his sets on Saturdays. It's easily one of my favorite events/ amenity. I really can't review this place any more highly. read more

I loved this place! Nestled in the sleek industrial apartment complex / country club The Villages, this well decorated coffee shop offers plenty of seating options. Cozy armchairs and sofas in the front, some cafe seating on the concrete patio outside and a quieter space ideal for getting work or study done in the back. I liked all the typewriters and paper airplanes: aspiring authors take note, this could be the perfect place to finish your novel! I ordered a latte which was pleasantly bitter with lots and lots of foam. Their drip coffee was tart and bright- a nice palate cleanser. They have a case of pastries including chocolate croissants and raspberry danishes which were perfectly laminated and very delicious. There's a gift shop attached which mainly seems to sell paper goods. The bathrooms in the back are large and clean. They are marked for men or women, but each is single use, so anybody could use them. read more

My friend and I were looking for a place to study for boards and were happy to have stumbled upon this place! 5/5 AMBIENCE The area is cozy yet spacious, and there is a wide variety of seating options (sofas, standard chairs/tables, booths, and high chairs). There are plenty of outlets for seating along the walls but I don't think I saw any available outlets for the seating in the middle areas. This is a very welcoming space for studying/working, and the majority of people were there to do exactly that. My friend and I spent the majority of the day here to study and I appreciated that there was zero pressure to buy anything in order to use the space (we ended up getting lunch here but there were a handful of people that I saw who would just come in to study for a few hours and then leave without buying anything). Despite how busy the place was, the noise level was very manageable and I was able to study perfectly fine without the use of headphones/sound cancellation even with the background chatter and music playing overhead, and I think it's because of the high ceilings so the sound dissipates pretty well. There's also limited shaded outdoor seating with overhead fans if you prefer to study/work or enjoy your food/drink outside. 3.5/5 FOOD/DRINK I had the club sandwich for lunch--it was a basic sandwich served with kettle cooked chips and wasn't anything to write home about. The sandwich felt small for a $12 price tag, and I would have at least wanted something more than just plain white untoasted bread. I also had the iced matcha latte with oat milk which was nice to sip intermittently as I studied but again, it wasn't anything special. I'm lactose intolerant and prefer soy milk but they only offer oat and almond milk alternatives which caught me off guard as I feel that soy milk is a pretty standard milk alternative. They do offer free water and there are two self-serve "water stations" which is nice. MISCELLANEOUS - Staff members were very friendly! - There's limited parking right outside the entrance but there's plenty of free parking in the underground parking garage--if you park near the green elevators, the elevators will take you up right next to the shop so it's still convenient. read more

This place came recommended to me from a peer of mine and it's quickly become one of my top-tier recommendations. The first time I came I got a cappuccino and was absolutely blown away by it. It was delicious and rich and the perfect amount, and paired well with their black bean queso fresco breakfast taco! The second time I came I tried their peanut butter cup mocha and while I wasn't as much a fan of that one (it was more savory/peanut buttery than sweet, and left an oil film on the top after drinking), it was alright -- just not my thing. I definitely want to come back to try their other drinks, especially a vanilla latte which is one of my usual go-tos at coffee shops. Shoutout to that chocolate chip cookie, though, as it is definitely one of THE best artisanal chocolate chip cookies I've had (I like to try these at every place I visit!). My second-favorite thing about this place is the aesthetic. It's just so nice, the furnishings, the plants, the aesthetic is all clean lines and elegance without sacrificing a sense of warmth and coziness. A really cute and spacious place nestled in the village! I stopped in to try something new and was glad to see they were open early after a cold snap. I was greeted by two baristas and although I couldn't find the menu I have a pretty standard order of an iced vanilla latte. The coffee wasn't for me as it was a bit too vanilla sweet and masking a little bitter taste on the backend. Although, the two bacon egg and cheese tacos I got were fantastic!
