It may have been an off night foe the people working their... Lets start, we ordered drinks n our food at the same time... We got our food before our drinks.... Then some of our food, then 10 mins after our food our deinks showed up... Had to ask for sour cream n salsa for the nachos had to wait for that.... Biggest dissapountment was yet to come... Go into the bathroom handicap stall no toliet paper had to wait for the other stall, that was almost out of tp... Go to wash my hands n their is NO SOAP!!!!! As im leaving the guy with 2 rolls of tp in hand asked if any other females inthere I sayno. Then I say by the way you need hand soap in there as well. As a one time regular of Buzz Inn, I'm not too impressed anymore. They HAD formula for success while you ordered your own food and the waitresses tended to your needs and cleaned up after you. Now they are trying to provide dinning experience by seating you 1st and then you have to wait for the waitress to tend to you. (Which by the way they are not). I went there for quick, inexpensive and great food, now I wast at least another 20min doing nothing but waiting. They are not a fine dinning experience and they should not try, they are a bar with all the obnoxiousness of drinking people. They do not have the atmosphere or staff too pull it off. It was so so...thank god for a1...guaranteed to make any streak taste great. Mashed potatoes were bland and dry and the salad dressing had a weird tang, ranch shouldn't have...but it was ok none the less. read more

This a restaurant where you know what you are going to get. This is nothing fancy but if your looking for something that you could probably prepare at home than come out to the the Buzz Inn. Fairly inexpensive but also not bad. We enjoy coming here because we know were not going to overpay and we know exactly what we are going to get. I love Sunday dinner here because it's $6.99 and it's something mom would always make. Nice home cooked food. If your board and want cheap drinks sit at the bar and pull some pull tabs. I really do not like to do negative reviews as there are two sides to every story.... with that being said I was so disappointed by my family's experience at the Monroe Buss inn. They were not busy, lots of empty tables and two lady's behind the counter. No one every bothered to acknowledge our presence. They then went on about there business and I had to say hi do we seat ourself? Her reply no I will be with you soon. Well when she finally took our order her unprofessional and uncaring demeanor should have giving us the the clue to just head to McDonald's. After ordering we waited an hour for our food, my husband and daughter got there's and she said your will be done soon. My daughters food was cold and when I finally got mine it's was not much better. They were not busy and the server was less then caring. I can deal with cold food it's the service that makes the difference because the food can be sent back but the service can not. read more

Sign says open (5:45am), door is locked and waitress comes to door and indictates not open untill 6am, wtf. Sign indictating open is why I pulled off of Hwy 2 so I could eat. Pulling into the parking lot should have told me something before I ever went into the Buzz Inn. The setup is horrible it's a parking lot where you pull in but there's no way to pull out literally... it only gets worse when you walk in the door. Let me start with the biscuits and gravy from The Breakfast menu which can best be described as raw flour suspended in lukewarm milk with a healthy dose of black pepper. The biscuits were delightfully tough and were served with a grimy Fork the head and seen the dishwasher in quite some time. My dining partner ordered a rendition of eggs benedict... you notice I said her rendition because other than the name there were no other obvious similarities. The quality of service match the quality of food so if your expectations are low the Buzz Inn should be just the place for you read more

Horrible service. Cold soggy food because it just sits in window waiting for someone to finally deliver it. Its not unreasonable to want your coffee refilled or your side of toast actually arrive with your meal. It's been going down hill lately but watching staff argue in front of customers and a long wait for barely edible food this last trip pretty much guarantees it was our last visit. read more

We ordered the Prime Rib, it was cold, we ordered it medium rare and it was well done! Sent it back and then they told us that they did not have any thing that was not well done. They did not make it right and as we where leaving the staff called me a bitch for sending my over cooked cold meal back. I would not let my worst enemy eat there! read more

The food is what you would expect, filling and alright. Nothing Ive eaten there has ever stood out but I dont think thats what they are going for. Its a good meat and potatoes place just like the hitching post. You can go there and have a filling, satisfying meal for a reasonable price. read more

Terrible experience went in for Breakfast food came out cold with small portions. Ordered my eggs over med they came out super runny and cold. Waitress took a napkin off the table and wipe the eggs off into the garbage and handed me back my plate. Totally unsanitary! Not going back theer!!!! read more

My stomach is still turning after eating here today at lunch time. The table was sticky, not cleaned. The bathroom was disgusting. The lettuce on my hamburger was brown and wilted and the bacon was raw. Which probably explains why I my stomach is still turning. read more

Went here for food and drinks clearly close to shift switch over. The young girl behind the bar was pretty attentive when she wasn't talking with the men. The girl that came in for night shift was so worried about stuffing her face the minute she walked in that she did not pay attention to anyone!! I had to stand up and put my coat on just to get her to come over so I could pay my bill! Buzz Inn back home, great place great service, This one is far from that! My food was ok but I wish I had got my appetizer before my meal and not after I get my dinner!! Being a server myself this place is just bad!! read more

I very much enjoy almost all the buzz inn restaurants, however the monroe one is my favorite. The staff is very attentive an simply.. on it. Janice an the other waitresses have always been friendly to me. Food is very good at fair prices. Some customers need to realize this is a destination restaurant right off hwy 2. So particular weekends or time of the year most of these restaurants an fast food places are swamped.. anyway keep kicking ass buzz inn staff. Went in for a father's day dinner and unfortunately ended up with one of the worst meals I've ever had, nothing was cooked as ordered, and the service was literally the worst I've ever had anywhere. I had to keep asking the hostess for things the waitress should have been doing, and even then the hostess wouldn't do anything but pass the word on to the waitress who acted like the most put out person on the planet. After being asked by the hostess to help us she literally continued to ignore us until I had to make the hostess force her. I have no idea who the manager was or if they even had one , but I know this for sure I won't be back and I'll be passing this review onto anyone and everyone who crosses my path. read more

the food was really really good. the service was awful. no water offered, table was dirty, no silverware given to us, and when our coleslaw was forgotten our server told us "the cooks have not been giving coleslaw all day." then we asked her to get us our coleslaw that came with our meal and when she returned (still no silverware or coasters for our beer..) she said "oh the cooks were just being lazy today." We ordered bottomless fries but nobody ever came to check on us so we were stuck with a measly handful. If it had been take out i probably would have given this restaurant a 4 out of 5, the food was very delicious, its a shame the service is so bad. Since we are local, we eat here every few months. Each time we give them the benefit of the doubt and say lets try it one more time. Well, this is one time too many. They advertised as a steakhouse. IT IS NOT. Burgers maybe, Breakfasts good, but not steaks. The steaks are tough and have no flavor. My husband is a big steak guy and he always makes a comment, 'maybe this time will be better'. NOPE not this last Sunday. It was made worst by the fact that the server was horrible. We did not even leave a tip. Usually if service it not the best, we still try to leave something. I knew it was not going to be a pleasant meal, when I asked her questions and she rattled it off so fast, I did not understand her. I myself speak fast, so if I can't keep up with what she said, it was not a good sign. When I told her to repeat it slower she just gave me a look. I got the feeling she did not want to be there. We only had water and we did not even get it filled regularly and had to flag her down for refills. THEN, our meal came BEFORE our salads. She says oh I will bring your salads now, like it was to come as part of the dinner. No apologies from her. I could not wait to get out of there. We eat out a lot and since there is not a lot to choose from in Monroe, we sometimes end up here. So today another Sunday, my husband and I said where shall we eat. We both said at the exact same time.. NOT BUZZ INN. We have been at the Buzz Inn in Snohomish and have never had any issues there. read more

Due to the fact that the usual Buzz Inn we go to is currently under construction, we chose to try the Monroe location. BIG MISTAKE!!! We were seated promptly, and the server was quick to take our drink order, came back and took our food order. Everything seemed normal. After about 15 minutes we thought hmm, must be busy. We waited and waited. After waiting a full half an hour, we were finally told "we have new cooks tonight, they are running behind, sorry for the wait, your food will be coming" another 15 minutes past and he comes by again, "It shouldn't be more than a minute" a couple minutes later FINALY the food arrives. Of course my order was wrong. I was not about to send it back and wait another 45 minutes. He checked on us once, all was okay, the second time, I asked for the bill. When I got the bill I promptly laid the card on it so he could take it, instead, he walked away UGH!!!! The food made me rush to the bathroom when I got home.
