I really like this ride since it's interactive. The line is very short, especially at night. Posted wait time past 10pm was 5 minutes, so my cousin and I did it multiple times in a row.

Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters is one of those rides that I never rush to ride, but always have a blast when I do. It is located in Tomorrowland, across from Star Tours! Traveling around the Galaxy fighting Emperor Zurg and his minions - its a 2 seater vehicle where you have a blaster gun for shooting at targets to get points. The 2 seater also has a joystick for spinning the vehicle as well. FYI - the targets are worth more points if they are lit up or higher and harder to shoot! They take your photo at some point during the ride that you can view once you get off too - its always fun seeing what you and your family look like when you're concentrating on shooting! I recommend this ride if you and your family like to compete against each other - we always like seeing who can rack up the most points!

A galactic experience for us at Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters. Wait time was non existent. We went on the ride twice since as soon as we were done on the ride we got out and went again for a second time. It was great since Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters was not busy. We even retrieved and saw our photos outside when we got off the ride the first and second time around.

The Buzz Lightyear ride is a fun shoot-'em-up where you shoot aliens, based on a Disneyland Movie, and is on the Disneyland side of the theme park. The ride itself is for two people and each of you will have a gun. Then you compete with each other and the other people. At the end, you can see what level you are on the shooting range and how far away you are from the top scorer. Overall a fun ride for kids and adults!!

This is the OG shooting/moving game at Disney. I loved going on this at a teenager when it came out and 10+ years alter I still love going on this. Now I get to see my kids ride this and they love it. I also like how they give you the option to email your picture to you. I think this is the only ride at Disneyland/CA Adventure that lets you do that. Great ride definitely recommend!

I love this ride, it brings out the competitiveness in me. It's pretty fun to select the different targets and hit the bullseye and rack up the points. I still need some practice as my daughter had almost double the points as I did.

GETTING HERE: Located in Tomorrowland across from Star Tours. REVIEW: I cannot believe I have not yet reviewed Buzz! Buzz Lightyear is one of my top three favorite attractions at the park. I love everything about this attraction! Sadly, since they got rid of fast passes sometimes the wait can be quite long (outside) in the sun. But once you walk inside, get seated onto your cart enjoy enjoy enjoy. I've heard said that the lighted targets are worth more points, unfortunately, I've never been able to confirm this fact for myself. :-) Don't forget to look for your picture as you exit the attraction and walk into the "Store Command". A definite must when you're at the park; don't let Zurg win! :-)

4++ This ride is obviously geared towards the young ones, but as adults, I could be a fun way to get off your feet and/or get your competitive juices going and compete for score against a friend or partner. This ride feels like you're cruising through the galaxy (or a toy store designed as the galaxy) and you shoot targets on aliens and other surroundnings. A very similar vibe to the Spiderman ride at Avengers Campus. I went on a recent trip with other adult friends (it was the shortest lightning pass line at the time) and thought it was fun to compete with them, but I wish I was able to go with one of my nieces and see their enjoyment of it. I feel like it's one of those rides where it would be fun to experience it through the eyes of a young one.

Rode this last time with my bro :)

My son's favorite ride, and for good reason. The ride is so much fun; you get to shoot at little targets for points that are scattered all throughout, and it is all Buzz Lightyear themed, so it is even more fun, especially if your little ones love Buzz. My kid can't get enough of this ride, and neither can I. We always fight to see who gets the most points. I usually let him win, of course, but sometimes he needs to learn!!!! Tough daddy love! If anybody is down to ride this with me, hit me up!

Wow! Outside of the roller coaster rides, this is my FAVORITE of the kiddo rides!!! It was the most interactive because you each get a gun and you can score points depending on what targets you hit! It's great for all ages, I am so serious!! The last time I went to Disneyland there was only one ride that u really really wanted to ride again, and now I am adding this ride to my list of "Rides I want to ride multiple times"!!!

    It's the real Buzz Lightyeat!

Hey, guys, look! It's the real Buzz Lightyear! I was fortunate to encounter him on my most recent visit to Star Command! Apparently the evil emperor Zerg was stealing crystolic fusion cells and they needed my help. As a recruit space ranger, I was assigned one of their smaller attack ships with a single laser. However I was able to take advantage of my training to inflict maximum damage on the enemy. The key to victory was focusing on their weak points! Fortunately my HUD highlighted several good opportunities to score critical hits. Star Command appreciated my efforts as I was promoted to space commander after the battle! I've heard I will lead a small detachment of forces on our next engagement. Five stars!

Such a cool ride! You can't pass this ride up, it's in Tomorrowland across from Star Tours. My kids love this ride! We try to hit it up on the way out of the park. Competition is fierce on this one! The loser gets to buy a treat! Lol...anyhow, this ride is a must! So fun!

Usually its only for SoCal residents. Loved that they opened it to all of CA. We had a great time..shopping, eating, sightings of Star Wars characters, and of course the rides. A few tips if its your first time to Disneyland. 1) Entrance lines go pretty quickly if you have your bar code ticket ready in the app. Note, its an option but you can get your pic taken at that time, upon entry 2) Always use your Disney app to know what rides may be down for maintenance. 3) To order food, there's an option in app to order food in advance with pickup times. Super helpful if you want to avoid standing in line. This isnt for restaurants but Quick Order eateries. 4) Know you routes around Disney. If you know walking routes to each land, it can save you a good amount of time. 5) Use app for parades, character photo ops, other entertainment times. 6) Always plan out your day at Disney or you will get frustrated being in all the lines. 7) Dont be shocked at prices for food, prices for merch, prices for everything. While I had not heard too much about it, I dedicated my whole day to exploring DLR and wanted to make the most of it. That being said, I purchased a Park Hopper ticket and made my way over after spending the first have the day in DL. Opened in 2001, DCA was not an immediate hit at its debut. In fact, it took a major facelift in order to start gaining some traction in terms of park attendance. The park is Disney's interpretation of California, separated into different lands based on regional areas of the state or by Disney IP. Some of the strongest areas IMO are San Fransokyo Square, paying homage to the Asian heritage in SF, and Pixar Pier which is a huge area combining Disney-Pixar theming with vintage California coastal vibes. While I feel this is the more adult park when comparing it to DL, there is a lot for kids to do here as well. There's a also a strong selection of attractions, and the shopping and dining are also decent. I took a spin on the parks icon - the Pixar Pal-a-Round, which provided awesome views of the park and greater Anaheim area. If comparing DCA to DL, it's my opinion the former is the stronger park - the theming and types of attractions speak to me more. Overall, I thought DCA was great - it's definitely an enhancement DLR as a whole, and I would no doubt return next time I plan a visit here.

Previously, I had attended during an unfortunate time when the kiddy pool was being closed down to be shocked multiple times. Back to back. Incidents that shut the pool down for hours at a time and then caused my health to also be affected thereafter.... I came back for this visit since my kids' Cub Scout group was celebrating their year end achievements and it was a great opportunity to join our community and give it another shot for the kids. They also were older and not on the baby pool. Well, I'm so glad I did. Despite the renovations going on, things seemed more organized and clean. The check- in process was much more streamlined and efficient and our rooms were ready and clean (no carpets!! Yay clean room!) with a view that wasn't great since the climbing area was literally right outside, but the kids loved it! Everyone still gets their free wolf ears too. The restaurant breakfast buffet had staff around to mind all the little and big hands reaching for food and we had a "breakfast taco bar" the family really enjoyed. The pool is full of flavors for all age levels and adventurers but a treat for me was seeing the outside pool area- there were loungers in the water, shaded regular seats, cabanas and no echos. It was like a resort! Inside is louder and humid while outside is full sun but open. Something for everyone. Lots of fun free and paid activities so be sure to check the schedule. We took part in story time (free) and yoga (free). I also appreciated the midweek crowd level even for a summer. I recommend you give it a try to see if it's a fit for your family! Okay thanks bye

The free games were the blue tap games, so you don't earn tickets, but there were still a ton of fun options. We didn't even come close to using the full 3 hours because there was so much to do. My favorites were the basketball games and Connect 4 basketball. We played a few rounds of laser tag, which was super fun, but a lot of the equipment seemed broken that day. They also couldn't split us into teams, so everyone was playing individually instead. The go-karts were really fun for a group we got a whole round to just our coworkers. Some of the karts definitely felt faster than others, which made things interesting. We also did mini golf, and the course was much bigger than I expected. It took quite a while to get through all the holes. One thing to note is that the rides don't always have staff standing by them. If you want to ride something, you may have to find an employee and ask them to operate it. Overall, there was honestly more to do than we could fit into the 3 hours. We didn't even get to everything we wanted to try. Despite a few operational issues, we had a really fun time and felt like the event package offered a lot of value.

This was a good value compared to regular prices. Enjoyed the go carts twice; attendants were very patient with customers and trouble makers. Cart track is super fun, carts ran well, fun competition! Bumper boats were closed; perhaps weather isn't warm enough yet or demand was low. Two fountain sodas at the snack bar were $13. Pretty outrageous. Tried to use the batting cages. Our unlimited pass didn't seem to apply however, which was disappointing, as our key cards were unable to activate the cages in two different lanes. We moved on to mini golf. Well lit and good music is the best I can say. Overall I can tell the courses have been improving from a maintenance standpoint but the greens are TERRIBLE. If you have to putt over broken turf or your ball gets stuck in a pit of death that used to be part of the brick border, it disrupts the fun and becomes frustrating. Seriously, Boomers. Put some of that ridiculous soda pop revenue into fixing your miserable astroturf. There were tears and holes everywhere. The arcade gets periodically updated but we didn't use it this time due to time constraints. Always had fun on the multitude of games available. Same with laser tag, we just ran out of time. Was not crazy about the process for golf putters and bats for the batting cages. There only seemed to be one person in charge of handing these out from the desk and they were stuck handling a long ticket line so we pretty much helped ourselves by reaching over the counter and grabbing what we needed.

Outside, the bumper boats are a refreshing way to cool down. You can see that the staff works hard at maintaining the grounds. There's always someone working on the many pools and water features when I go. Overall, the greens are in good shape. Sure, a ball may stick, but it's a game.
