It was our first time trying them and it was excellent. We got the family bucket that serves 4-5 people. The spaghetti, sauce, meatballs and garlic bread was plenty for our four. Just had a spaghetti and meatball lunch from my first trip to By The Bucket. I'm Italian and grew up with really good Italian food. And I lived in Italy for a few years. So I think I'm qualified to review spaghetti and meatballs. The spaghetti was perfectly Al dente, the bread was buttery with a rich garlic flavor and the meatballs...wow so very good. All in a well balanced delicious marinara. Priced very reasonably for this quality. Gets my 5 stars. I will definitely make this a regular take out. read more

I had high hopes, but they were quickly dashed!! I had the rose sauce with spaghetti instead of the penne pasta, which was a huge mistake although I don't know if the penne would have been any better. But, the consistency of the pasta, I don't even know what that was. It was like sawdust. It was so gross, I spit it out, never took another bite. The garlic bread was mediocre at best and the meatballs, well they tasted like meat, but once again a consistency issue., I'd say all in all, this was the absolute worst spaghetti I have ever had in my entire life. I Would have taken it back if they had been open, to get my money back, and I never do that!! I think it is insulting that they served the quality of food they did and expected me to fork over $32 and a tip. It wasn't worth two dollars in my opinion... read more

I just ordered their spaghetti and meatballs. My mistake, I did not read the "TINY FINE PRINT" where it says the meatballs are extra, even though they are pictured in the menu item. The pasta is overcooked, and the garlic bread has ABSOLUTELY NO GARLIC on it! What's worse if I just called and spoke to a manager who listened to me then said "is there anything else ma'am?". We thought feeding our family with a bucket was Impasatabowl (haha)! But sure enough, By the Bucket pulled through with a delicious meal that left us all full and content. We have a family of 4 and our friend who dined with us so I doubted that it'd be enough food. Not only was it enough food, but it was really tasty, and we even have leftovers for the week. For the 5 of us, I ordered the Party Bucket, it came with a 3lb. Bucket of pasta and marinara, and like 2 loaves of garlic bread. I also ordered 10 meatballs on the side. The sauce to pasta ratio was perfect. The meatballs were delicious. And we're all full, happy, and will definitely be back. Also an added bonus was the super clean kitchen and friendly staff. First off service was polite and welcoming, the establishment was small, no dine in all carry out which is perfectly okay, the place was clean which is a major plus. That came with the pasta, marinara sauce and some garlic bread. Then we added 4 meatballs at $2 each. It was supposed to feed 1-2 people. It was a good meal for one person, let's leave it at that. The taste was really mediocre. Nothing impressive. The pasta was a little undercooked and rubbery. The sauce was bland. The meatballs were good but nothing to write about. And the garlic bread was not good. I will not be going there again. I can make much better spaghetti and meatballs at a fraction of the cost. What a let down. read more

I am telling you don't go. Don't do it, don't waste your money. We went, there was only one car in the park lot at prime dinner time. While waiting there was A LOT of smoke coming from the kitchen. Get the food home (we live 10 mins away) and the food is cold. Alfredo sauce tastes exactly like great value Alfredo sauce with no seasoning. Pasta sauce taste like water down prego. I have been waiting for a couple months for this place to open! I finally got to eat here and I'm so glad i did. My friends and family were hesitant about By the Bucket, they just didn't think it would be good. HOWEVER, got a family bucket, a full loaf of garlic bread, and 6 meatballs and It was all so delicious(if you order here, do yourself a favor and get the meatballs, they're so tasty). The environment inside was very friendly and customer service oriented which was very refreshing, and the wait time to get my order was very reasonable. I absolutely will be coming back for more, this might be my new go-to dinner spot for when i get off work and don't want to cook! read more

I ordered through Grub Hub and the delivery was very quick. I live close. I ordered the medium bucket of spaghetti and meatballs for 2-3 people. We had 3 people and we got one meatball. The bread wasn't enough for three and the food was so-so. I will not be ordering from here again. read more
