Hi! We are a small non-profit educational institution in downtown Oakland, California. Recently we have started running basketball and football Programs. They are guided and coached by the famous Gary Dwayne Payton Sr. So we have a lot of new students coming to Lincoln University (LU) and we also provide accommodation. In the mid of August, our Housing Coordinator got injured on the most important - moving date and we had urgently to call several moving companies to find an 'emergency' same day, 2 hours notice solution. So that is how the cooperation with "Bystroff Moving Company" has started. From 5 targeted companies, only the Manager of "Bystroff MC" - Stepan, was able to find an alternative solution and within 2 hours, 4 movers with a big truck and extra car were already loading the staff from Ikea. The guys were quick, smart, and responsible. They were on time and overall efficient had all the equipment needed to assemble the furniture (including garbage bins, pots, and pens), and did not charge us extra understanding our case. With this review, we would like to say THANK YOU! You really were the savers for us in these odd circumstances. We appreciate your help and work and we will be cooperating with you further. Overall, great smart service and we recommend it to anyone who is 'on the move'.

Best moving experience I ever had! From the beginning, Bystroff moving and Steve, the owner was very thorough on contacting me back in a timely manner and scheduling within the same week to accommodate my very sudden move and it was the day before the Fourth of July on a Sunday! The price was fair when I got multiple quotes and honestly what I loved about working with them was the attention to detail and the positive vibes. Moving is stressful and I assure you, with there help it will ease your stress and be worth every dollar! The had a perfect balance between working fast but slowing down when needing to keep delicate items secure and undamaged. They are so hard working I literally asked them to take breaks. They wrapped items to prepare them in the truck and we have so many stairs I was amazed that I never heard one of the movers complain. During the whole process Steve checked in with me to let me know how things were going and they even took lunch a little later to get the truck loaded before going to the new house to unload everything. No scratches, dents or damage at all to the homes or our belongings. I was amazed considering all the stairs we had! It was one of those experiences in my life I will never forget because they took care of us and helped us move into our home with ease and joy. I felt like I would have payed them anything and everything in my account at the end of the day. With how hard they work and especially all day on a Sunday away from their families and laughing and enjoying life, it made me want to thank them. I tipped them well at the end, the biggest tip we have ever tipped any person or business because they worked harder than I've ever seen anyone work. That's rare in a generation where many want a hand out. They earned every dollar. I will use them for all packing and moving and referring. Message me if you have any questions I will kindly be a reference for them even though I was not asked to do so. Steve, our driver Eric, and the whole team were very efficient, professional, and responsive. By far the best movers I've ever worked with! They managed to move all my belongings from SF to LA in a single day with no damage to the house or any of my things. Steve was always very responsive leading up to the move and there were 0 hidden fees. I can't recommend them enough.

Best moving Company I've ever hired! Let me tell you why?? I've hired movers 5 times in the past 2 years & never had such professionalism with a moving Company. Steve Immediately FaceTimed me, I showed him the project & we discussed price, date & time. Steve called to confirm, gave me a update on ETA, arrived on time & he & his crew started working. Best movers ever! I highly recommend Bystroff Moving Company!! We recently completed a 4 bedroom house move and can't imagine doing it without them. Their prices were great and the quality of the service was exceptional. They worked with us on all kinds of special pieces such as our Peloton, large interlocking furniture as well as fragile pieces. They took special care of our floors and walls, putting up padding on the corners and walkways throughout the house. They were very responsive leading up to the move and showed up when and where they said they would. The team was very personable and helped make the moving day fun. I hired (Steve) Bystroff Moving to do a LONG DISTANCE move from San Francisco to Seattle. Bottom line: I could not have had a better experience or received better service. In the end, I consider Steve a friend and would do business with him again, any day. TRUSTWORTHY From my first conversation with Steve he was able to establish trust. It was clear from the beginning that he wanted to work with me to create something that was going to serve both of us, and that was why I ultimately hired him. When I first called Steve/Bystroff it was like a sense of relief in comparison to having so conversations with countless other moving companies that spanned the spectrum from difficult to abusive (no follow up, confusion, etc. - and one guy who berated me when I asked about some negative reviews I found). Coordinating with Steve was like talking to a partner. He promptly responded all my calls and texts and was proactive, attentive and flexible through the whole process. Steve and his 2-man crew showed up on time, had everything in the truck in 1 hour. Everything was wrapped and packed perfectly in the truck. They moved things safely in the space. No damage done to property or my belongings on either end. They were respectful of me, my space, and COVID considerations. Friendly and pleasant energy all around. FLEXIBLE & ACCOMMODATING My particular situation included many unusual characteristics, some known and others unanticipated: - I wasn't moving a standard amount of stuff. I was living in a partially furnished rental and had a bed, tandem bike, two other bikes, an office desk and some other random household stuff and tools and clothes. Many other moving companies weren't able to fit me in one of their "boxes" (1 bedroom apartment, 2 bedroom apartment, etc.) and meet my needs. With Steve/Bystroff this wasn't even an issue. He gave me two different estimates that allowed me to choose between a longer delivery time with a shared truck (lower price) or short delivery time with my own truck (more expensive). - My father-in-law passed away 3 days before we were scheduled to move and I had to reschedule everything with Steve. He was able to make it all work in the exact timeframe I needed in quick order. Again, I felt like it was friend who was trying to whatever they could to make sure I got what I needed. - We had driven our car to SF and had to drive back to Seattle. Because my husband is disabled, our travel plan made it so I was not going to be in Seattle to receive the moving truck when it arrived. Steve and Sam (the truck driver) stayed connected by text with me and my neighbor. They kept us posted on their arrival so my neighbor could get them in the house and handle everything without me there. I gave both Steve/Sam and my neighbor instructions on what to do with the unloading and everything was handled impeccably. - Long story, but I happened to buy a bed in SF and moved it back to Seattle to replace the bed I had. They professionally packed up and wrapped the old bed and helped me move it into the garage for a friend to pick up before moving my new bed in. I can't explain what a delight that was both for me and the friend taking the bed. It was fully protected in transport. IN SUMMARY Everyone says moving is a very stressful experience on it's own, neverminded trying to move 5 days after getting back from my father-in-law's funeral across the country during Covid with a disabled husband. I never worried about my move once I hired Steve. He gave me peace of mind from the start. Worth EVERY PENNY! Thank you Steve/Bystroff Moving!

Best movers I've worked with. Steve was very organized in planning our move. Long-distance move from the Bay Area to Tahoe and also to storing some items in Carson City. The crew was courteous and thoughtful. Highly recommend.

The Bystroff Moving team helped me move from the Bay Area to Seattle - the move was seamless and the team was great. They offered the best price out of all the competing offers, and on top of this they offered a moving truck that was used only for my move. All other companies would've have placed my items in a truck with another remover coming to Seattle, and the only other company that offered a single truck was literally double their price. In addition, while other companies were giving me 7-10 day time windows for when I could expect my items to arrive (which is a real pain when you need to reserve a loading dock) we were able to arrange an exact day and 4 hour time window for arrival which was a huge weight off my shoulders. When moving me into Seattle, after unloading everything they also helped with some extra tasks such as setting up my tv on the stand and moving an old dresser to the dumpster - all at no extra cost. I'd highly recommend working with Bystroff if you ever get the chance!

Excellent movers! I have moved many times before and this is the first time that it was pretty much stress-free. They were on time, efficient, and really careful with my belongings. They wrapped all my furniture and artwork really well with plastic wrap and then wrapped them once more with blankets during transport! I have never seen any other movers wrap my fragile and expensive stuff that way. They disassembled everything to make sure that they could be transported properly. I am really amazed by their professionalism. I can see that they have done this many many times! They are courteous and really work hard to make sure that they don't scratch anything, including the walls in the unit I am moving to. My unit is difficult considering it is a three floor loft with a spiral staircase. These guys are pros navigating that difficult stairway! Thank you Steve (and other guy, I forgot his name... sorry!) I am super happy with the hard work you have done. I will definitely recommend you to all my friends and family!

Everything has been taken care of nicely. They deliver some packages ahead of time and was very efficient through the moving process. The transaction was great, except that there's a price difference between our cash and credit card processing. I appreciate the help and they were communicative!
