    Donut holes
    Jr R.

For my first time here it did not disappoint, I ordered the croissant with bacon egg and cheese and asked for it to be cut in half and wrapped separately as well as a dozen donut holes packaged half separately and I liked how at the end she gave me 2 bags with 1 of each item exactly what I had in mind as I was getting breakfast for me and my gf. The donut holes were good and the croissant was good as well it came with ketchup and cascabella peppers on the side and they were pretty spicy good Will be returning, Thank you.

this place is a hidden gem; i'm so glad i found it! they also take apple pay~ the shop is pretty small but it's evident that the owners tried to tidy up the place; despite how small it was, it was pretty clean unlike some reviews i've read. i was greeted by a kind man and he took my orders and rang me up immediately. the price for a croissant, bagel, and a dozen donut holes only was $15.75 which i thought was a steal for today's economy. i split their bacon, egg, and cheese croissant and bagel with a friend and we both agreed that they were scrumptious. i think they have a special sauce in their croissant and bagels because i found myself finishing my bagel even though i was full because it was that good. their donut holes were also fresh and delicious. would definitely come back to try their other things as well~

I had a roast beef sandwich with toasted bread, thick slices meat and crispy cold lettuce at 9 dollars, couldn't be more happy!

First time here, the lady was so friendly and very chatty. Decent selection of donuts to choose from at 6pm on a Tuesday night. Picked a little of everything. I've had 2 so far and they are fresh and thick very tasty. Only downfall was they are cash only but they had an arm, charges $2.25 to get cash, not too bad. The nice lady even threw in a couple of extra donuts which was very sweet.. I'd definitely come back.

1/24/21 A friend gave a couple of donuts the other day which were surprisingly soft and fluffy. Not the dense cake batter mix tasting. Asked were she bought them and she said CC donuts. This the donut shop I pass by near that little complex in front of HUCLA! Ha! The place is currently being remodeled. Construction workers were using face masks and I was greeted by the male staff. There wasn't much donuts on their glass casing, maybe because it was late afternoon. I got the cinnamon, glazed, and chocolate bar. They weren't stale but for sure it has been sitting there for awhile. They were soft though. Will update this review once I get to buy here in the morning when donuts are freshly made. Cash or card with extra charge of 0.50 cents.

A coworker told me about this good donut/sandwich shop near our work place so I gave it a try. When I entered I was greeted by a kind employee. There were many donuts to choose from so it took a while to decide but the worker patiently waited for my order. I got a chocolate cake and glazed swirl donut. Both were delicious! The glazed swirl was light and fluffy while the chocolate donut was a traditional cake donut. Will definitely be back to try their sandwiches.

It doesn't seem like you'd get the best breakfast croissant you've had in a long time, but you sure will. It's a delicious surprise. Everyone is kind and quick. This is a be back!

Review #986 2026-056…read more Food Order: Boston Cream $3.95 Butter Pistachio $4.95 Cookies & Cream $3.95 Crème Brûlée $4.95 Lemon Poppyseed $3.95 Raspberry Ring $3.95 Another one bites the dust... bada dum dum dum... During my freebies birthday run yesterday, I was planning on going to Old Ferry Donut after picking up a boba next door, only to find the shop closed. \(`0´)/ Known for unique flavors & vibrant retro-pop 70s branding (cute hamster mascot with bold orange & brilliant blue colors; it's featured on 2-/4-donut boxes), this Korean-inspired premium donut shop originated in Seoul a decade ago before expanding to several S. CA locations, opening in Torrance a couple of years ago. OFD's donuts are popular for its rich creams & chewy dough; Butter Pistachio & Crème Brûlée are just 2 of their signature flavors. I was going through a donut phase when I initially stopped by Old Ferry Donut. Large windows let lots of light in, & once you step across the threshold, you're hit with a strong K-pop vibe & loud music. They even had a collab with SEVENTEEN last fall during their tour with 2 flavors: Marble Strawberry & Blue Coconut! Unlike the regular mom & pop's or commercialized donut shops, they don't offer a discounted 1/2 or full dozen box. After asking what's their most popular picks, I chose Butter Pistachio & Crème Brûlée, & added Lemon Poppyseed & Raspberry Ring for myself, Cookies & Cream & Boston Cream for the kiddos. Service was alright... I didn't need a sales pitch, but would like some info on the donuts to make an informed decision since they're at a premium price even though they're not "freshly made" (every hour or less) like SD&C just down the street. The Butter Pistachio is a major hit... fluffy & light, a slightly chewy yeasty donut stuffed with a mildly sweet whipped pistachio cream filling & topped with a salty-sweet buttery streusel... how can you not be addicted? And totally worth it! Crème Brûlée is also popular for its delicate, crackly caramelized sugar crust & airy brioche dough that's filled with a rich vanilla custard. Good flavor, but maybe on the older side? Since it's been sitting for awhile, it lost that fresh fluffy texture & was kinda dry. I really liked the Lemon Poppyseed; it's right up there with Butter Pistachio. The lemon glaze is just the right amount of sweet & tart, & the donut was fresh & fluffy! The Raspberry Ring is pretty good, matching that sweet & tart of Lemon Poppyseed, but I like the citrus zing of the latter more. What's different is the former has a raspberry jam filling in addition to a glaze & the latter is just a yeast donut with fruity glaze. Kids didn't say much about Cookies & Cream & Boston Cream... I figure you can't go wrong with these flavors. The filling might have been a bit much as I saw the cream oozing out of the donut & onto my LO's face & shirt. His sister was slightly better at containing the custard blob. LOL With premium prices, It's debatable if Old Ferry's donuts are worth it... quality, freshness, & size. Hmmm... I like them & their creative flavors, but they're a tad too sweet & not as "fresh" in comparison to SD&C. Sad to see Old Ferry Donut permanently gone from the South Bay, but they still have locations in San Gabriel & Buena Park if you're willing to take a drive. Recommended: Boston Cream $3.95 Butter Pistachio $4.95 Cookies & Cream $3.95 Crème Brûlée $4.95 Lemon Poppyseed $3.95 Raspberry Ring $3.95

Too Good To Go App Review…read more I found this place while searching online for a quick snack to bring my partner at work. I originally planned on getting just two or three donuts, but I ended up leaving with a whole bag because everything looked so good! These aren't your average donuts..they're creative, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. Even hours later, or even the next day, they still taste amazing. A few seconds in the microwave or air fryer makes them taste almost fresh again. There were so many donuts that my partner ended up sharing them with his coworkers, and they were a huge hit. It was nice knowing more people got to try them, especially since they all live nearby while we don't. Anyone I know who lives in that area will definitely be getting my recommendation. The customer service has been excellent both times I've visited. I've gone once during a busy rush and once when it was slow, and the service was just as friendly and efficient each time. We stopped by today around 3:30PM and received quick service :) they were just bringing out some fresh doughnuts so we were able to get them super fresh! We got to try some new seasonal flavors as well as some classics. Chocolate Celebration Ring - this is a new daily flavor I believe, and I quite enjoy it! The doughnut itself is very pillowy and not dense at all like their other ones. Very different, but a good different. It reminds me of the type of doughnut you'd get at a mom n pop, which is a huge plus for me. The chocolate frosting surprisingly wasn't super sweet. Def would get again. Potato Chip Streusel - this was...interesting haha. The potato chips add a nice salty flavor to the chocolate donut itself. I wouldn't get it again, but worth a try if you're an adventurous person. Celebration Cake - one of my absolute favs. I love that they use almond flour so it has a nice nutty taste. It is very much cake like and dense, but it hits the spot every time. Highly recommend! Old-fashioned - also a great classic! It has a great mix of cinnamon and nutmeg and isn't too overly sweet. Banana Bread Latte - we got to try this and I LOVED it. It was very banana-y and I loved the touch of walnuts added in. Out of all the banana flavored coffee I've had, this was the best. Just a note, cold foam is extra, but so worth it imo! Shout out to Bash for making this coffee so good!

(This is why I hate ordering delivery--restaurants are careless, especially for delivery orders. They get your order incorrect 80% of the time {in my experience} and on top of not being able to get your correct order, you are charged fees and delivery. And for this reason, restaurants should be extra careful). I was given a plain ham and cheese croissant, not Jalepeño, which I personally don't care for. Extremely disappointing considering how much I love this item. To add insult to injury, the pastry I received implies, in my opinion, that the employee who made it does not care about their job--The croissant had two tiny, bunched up and hard pieces of ham, just on one side of the croissant, and no cheese inside. It was extremely bland, not what I ordered, and absolutely not worth any amount of money. I threw it away after one bite. I will be purchasing from Randy's munch less often because after this experience, I no longer trust their standards and I won't always have the opportunity to quality check my order. And I shouldn't have to.

My personal favorite is the glazed twist. There's something about how light and airy it is that makes it stand out from everywhere else. It has that perfect texture where it almost melts in your mouth with every bite, without ever feeling too heavy or overpowering. Pair it with a fresh coffee in the morning and it's hard to beat. I've noticed some people complaining about the credit card processing fee, but personally, I think supporting small businesses means understanding the realities of running one. Places like this aren't giant chains with massive corporate margins, they're LOCAL spots that have been serving the community for years and doing it well. If a small processing fee helps them continue making great food, and staying afloat in an increasingly expensive market, that feels like a fair trade-off to me. I'd much rather support a family-run shop like this than see places with real character disappear. If you don't like the fee, you can simply pay with cash next time.

I've always wanted to try their Orange County location but just never got around to it, so I was excited to finally give them a try. I walked in expecting it to be self-serve like 85 Degrees Bakery, but it's actually set up more like a donut shop or Porto's, where most of the pastries are displayed in a case and you tell the staff what you'd like. They do have a refrigerated self-serve section with sandwiches and onigiri, as well as a table with loaves of bread and buns. The ordering process caught me off guard because I usually like taking my time looking through all the pastries at bakeries. Since everything was behind the counter, I felt a little rushed with people waiting behind me. They have so many options that it can be a bit overwhelming. I also had to stop myself from ordering too much since I'm trying to cut back on carbs. Here's what I ordered: Hot Dog Bun - 4/5: Tasty with a soft, fluffy bun. I just wish it had a little more of that cheesy crust on top. Ham and Cheese Croissant - 3/5: My boyfriend ordered this and thought it was just okay. It was a little small for the price. Strawberry Cream Croissant - 5/5: They're known for this, and now I understand why. The pastry was light and flaky, the strawberries were sweet, and the custard was rich without being overly sweet. Spam Roll Onigiri - 4/5: I loved the egg, and it was really flavorful. It was served a bit cold, though. I think it would taste even better if it were kept under a heat lamp. Raisin Bun - 5/5: So soft and fluffy, with just the right amount of raisins. It was also a great value--six buns for only $4.20. Hot Vanilla Latte - 4/5: Strong with just a light sweetness. It was really good, but I think it could have been a little creamier. The prices were reasonable. I spent about $26 for everything, which I thought was a great deal. Customer service was excellent. Even though there was a line behind me, the staff never made me feel rushed while I decided what I wanted. The barista was especially friendly and even checked in afterward to ask if I liked my latte. If I'm ever back in the area, I would definitely come again.
