Terrible experience working with this company. We ordered two new glass garage doors for our home. When the installers came, they started installing a black door on my garage (I ordered white). They had no idea it was the wrong door until I told them. Then they installed a white door on my other garage, leaving us with mismatched doors. No call from the company that day. No plan for how to fix it. I emailed the company. No response. I called and left messages for Dave, the owner. He did not return any of my calls. The problem was eventually fixed, but the company took no responsibility for the mistake and blamed the manufacturer. read more

Never installed all 4 of garage doors properly. Didn't get grids for all 4 doors, only 2. A month later I still can't get an answer when I will get them. The installation was not done properly on all the doors so when someone showed up to repair, I was told there was a COD invoice!!! REALLY they weren't installed properly. The next day I get an invoice for zero. Wow, this company has the girl who answers the phone do all return calls and always same answer from her, "I'll talk to the owner" still no answer!!! This place is a joke. I called them to tell them that I could not get my garage door to go down and it it has been doing that sporadically for the last 3 months. The tech tried it and it was working fine but said because when I tried it is was during the full morning sun and that was the problem. The tech suggested replacing the sensors and that would fix the problem. The tech spent around 10 minutes searching his truck for new sensors and finally found them and proceeded to install them which took another 10 minutes. The tech handed me an invoice for $190.00 and when I asked for an explanation he said the sensors were $65.00 and $125.00 for labor and service charge. He also said even though the sensors were not new in a package they had only been used once to do a test for another customer. (that I don't believe). I also asked the tech if he greased/oiled up the rollers and he replied that he had used up all of his silicon spray on his previous customer but I could do it myself. I am 80 years old and I am not about to be climbing on a ladder to spray the rollers especially when I paid for the service. By the way I tried the door again the next day and it would not go down again. I would never use C&M Garage Door again as they try to take advantage of you especially if you are a senior citizen. I will be disputing this charge with my credit card company. read more

Charged us $125 for a service technician to come out and look at our electric gate. Just to look at it. Then they quoted us $4000 for an entirely new unit instead of trying to make any repairs. We're talking to a different company now that will repair it and trying to get any helpful info out of C & M is like pulling teeth. Give me part numbers of what's broken or something. Zero return for my $125. If you guys only repair garage doors you should say so. They're only getting two stars because their technician was friendly. They were polite and considerate. When they finished they cleaned up the garage and hauled away my old door. The price was great as well. I went to open my garage door this morning and the spring broke. I made a couple calls and I'd have to wait 4 day to get it fixed or pay through the nose. Not having access to the garage in the Vegas summer heat is excruciating! I chose to call my handyman and he recommended we call Dave at C & M Garage Door Services. The door was fixed within 3 hours of it breaking. Santos arrived 10 minutes before he said he would and went above and beyond. The garage door used to be very loud when it opened and now I can hardly hear the door open from inside the house. I never asked him to clean and lube the rollers. I would highly recommend this company based on their professionalism and service. This company gets an A+ from me. read more

I asked C&M to install insulated doors for me because I wanted to add AC to my garage in May 2017. The double door never closed properly or evenly letting more hot outside air into the garage than the old doors did. The company came back in Feb 2018 and to install new seals (which should have come with the new doors) and adjust the door but they charged me another $290. The door was still closing uneven and they came back in May of 2018 and yes you guessed it charged me again another $85. The door is worse than ever and I travel often for work so do not have the time to get them to come out again. I called them March 11, 2019 said the same issues exist and the door needs to be properly adjusted and everything tightened properly so it stays right. The person on the phone said they will come out and fix it after looking at my account. The tech's get out here and talk to someone on the phone and the same old trick is employed telling me they will have to charge me for their inferior work to adjust the door for the 4th time that almost never gets used. I would not use this company under any circumstances they lack integrity. read more

This review would've gotten a full 5 if the guy working on our garage door showed up on time. He was 30 minutes late, didn't bother to call to let me know he was running late. But he did the job very quickly and professionally. Within 30 minutes of him being at our place he was done with the new installation and he was on his way. Our HOA directed us to them because our current door had "dents." I was honestly expecting to pay more than what I did. They're very, VERY reasonably priced and very efficient with their job. I have used C&M several times in the past few years and have found them to be punctual, professional and fairly priced every time. Our first experience was when my Mother's caregiver drove her car through the door at her home. They worked well with the insurance company and contractor and we were happy with everything. Since then they have been called out to her home for normal maintenance. I have used them at my house to replace springs and just this week had a complete new unit installed on my double door. Manuel was the tech that came out and he worked fast and efficient. He was also very friendly and seemed to be tuned into customer satisfaction.
