I tried this salon for the first time after a friend suggested it. I was blown away with the professionalism and cleanliness. The prices were reasonable for the type of service you receive. If you want better service sometimes you have to pay more, and this time it was well worth it. The technicians do not talk to each other in Vietnamese, in fact , they only speak to one another if they need to ask a question regarding the services rendered. The spa pedicure was wonderful, and the technician LISA took an entire hour for my service. If you are in a hurry you can tell them, and they will speed it up. Went there this morning waited 20 min to be helped. She rushed through a regular polish nail fill, waited 25+ min while my nails dried and finally got so tired of waiting for them to dry I asked if I can take them out She said it was fine I paid and left when I got in my car I noticed one was messed up I went back in and showed her she literally just painted over the blob of polish that was messed up to begin with. Not even 2 hours later noticed streaks and bumps. Never going back. read more

Ok, I went to this place because of the great reviews but as of now, I am really tired of giving it a chance. I've been there enough times to see that it is really not what everyone is saying, first off, when you go (even with an appointment) you have to wait for a long long time to be helped, and when you do, if you get Brian who I prefer (his wife has a bit of a funky attitude) I have to sit there and deal with him having to answer every call that comes in and handling the payments for all customers. It is a drag because for a simple nail fill it takes him over an hour to do because of all the distractions AND he usually overbooks his appointments and is in a total rush to get your nails done and ends up doing a really poor job. And as nice as he is, he does average work, it is not fantastic work, I've seen better. As far as the prices, this place is not as 'reasonable' as they say, for a fill and gel i ended up paying over 45 bucks, to this day I don't know what it was they did to my nails that was so expensive. I believe they should just stick with the pedicures, it looks like that would be their specialty. I gave it two stars for Brian's nice and pleasant personality. read more

CK Nails in Camarillo is by far the best nail place I've been in Ventura County. Kathy makes your nail look all natural. They can do different types of designs. Actually, anything that you would want. I love CK Nails and their prices are reasonable and well worth it. read more

Horrible service, never return! Went in originally for a Mani/pedi with my daughter. Told us to sit in a chair and they would be with us soon - 25 mins later .. In cold water ( pedi) we still sat! If you are busy then just say it -will be a wait and we would return / honesty people I would rather come back instead of waiting 45 mins to get a terrible pedicure - not only was the paint chipping 3 hours later but she actually CUT me and with a pat of cotton ball to wipe up the blood she continued on.( no sorry , no acknowledgment ) My daughter's pedicure was actually longer because the guy kept getting up and wiping down other water basins for new clients coming in while answering phones and never washing hands - hmmmmm. I actually told them due to the time and crappy job that we would not get a manicure just pedi! I was fuming by the time we left. Should of not paid period. Beware!!! Only went there because of prior reviews. Never never never!!! Just a side note. As we were sitting and WAITING. One woman actually got up and left because someone did a horrible job on her acrylics ! Should of known after I watched that encounter. read more

I specifically asked the manicurist (maybe Lisa?, don't quote me though) here not to cut my cuticles so she roughly pushed them back instead. She then asked if she could cut a hangnail and I said yes after which she proceeded to cut off all my cuticles despite me saying not to earlier. My cuticles, or lack thereof, still hurt 12 hours later. They may look decent, but I will never get my nails done here again. read more

Its obvious bcuz she kept Goin back THREE damn times sayin they broke and got them all done for free 3 xs(if ur really unhappy with a service u don't ever go back duh) I went to the paul Mitchell beauty inst. For cosmotology and am EXTREMELY picky bout my nails and im here to say Annie is FLAWLESS and I have been with her for 5 YEARS even after I moved to LA County and sumtimes it takes almost 2 hours to get there I still go every 3 weeks, NOT TO MENTION she has become like one of my best friends, her and her husband Joe (who btw has been doin nail forever and has traveled the world and back due to his A+ world class professional skill) r THE MOST GENUINE, CONSIDERATE, RESPECTFUL, HARD WORKING AKA BUST THEIR ASS AND GIVE WAY MORE THAN 110% not 5 days a week, NO, SEVEN FRIKN DAYS A WEEK, I don't know how they do it not to mention have other priorities they sumhow flawlessly manage, its incredible! The pedicure is great- pleasurable massage, callous removal & color. There's a breakdown in communication regarding the acrylic fill. I am going to give then one more shot & be very specific about my expectations regarding the tool used (so doesn't burn) & the acrylic thickness (so doesn't break). Update to follow. read more

Came in for the 1st time since the new owners took over. Had an appt. at 11 for a full set & pedi asked for them to be done at the same time. Got my pedicure right away the guy did great. The lady who did my full set took 45 mins to even start. Put the acrylics on & then she left. Waited another 35 mins for to even start them. Very disappointed. read more

Didn't catch the name of the man who did my nails. I got a full set painted purple and I love them. He did a wonderful job. Usually I have to point out what I would like fixed after I get my nails done but for him to have done a spectacular job on the first visit is for sure going to keep me coming back. I'd been to this salon only two times (good service) when I decided to have a "Girls' Salon Day" at my home and I asked if they'd provide the mani/pedi services. They sent Annie out to my house and I can't begin to tell you what a nice job she did. The service was not inexpensive, but she made it worth it. The highlight of the services at this salon is the pedicure. I always opt for the spa pedicure with callous removal and the massage they provide is incredible!!! They also use the electronic nail buffer to remove callouses which is highly effective. I have spent many many years all over the country getting pedicures and this pedicure is one of the best I've ever had. I live in Santa Barbara with many fancy salons but work in Camarillo and make time for CKs after work all the time over Santa Barbara salons. I also like the gel manicure that they provide as well but if it weren't for the amazing massages, I would be fine going elsewhere. The foot rub lasts a lot longer than I've ever experienced elsewhere and they pay special attention to pressure points and ask questions to identify your preferences. Joe provided the pedicure this last time and he appeared very invested in specializing the massage to my needs. This salon is my new go to. read more
