I second the astonishment on lack of reviews with this place. I have a friend who works "on post" who was talking to a guy from Buffalo and she was asking if he has found any good wings in the area. his response was basically that nobody knows how to do a proper wing but this CR Wings joint is the closest to perfection that one could expect outside of Buffalo. I'm a fan since checking it out. I've never been a real big wing fan but have acquired a taste and a discernible palate for good wings. The sauces are excellent and, really, it's all in the sauce...and being able to cook a wing correctly. I have no patience for undercooked wings. CR does it right every time. The place is always busy but never overcrowded. They have big TVs for a small place. They have 1 or 2 beers on draft so you can wash everything down with a pitcher. Holy wings! Checked out CR last Friday, just in time for Phelps to win his 22nd gold medal. Bought what I would call the "date night combo," a pitcher of beer ( there's three to choose from- Bud Light, Yuengling & Miller Light ) and a 20 piece Wings for $20.99. For a 20 piece you can pick two sauces so we tried the Medium buffalo sauce and the lemon pepper. Also ordered curly fries & potato ribbons. Waited about 20 minutes for the order to be ready and they were pretty busy. The wings were about 4.5/5 and we preferred the curly fries to potato ribbons by far. Can't wait to go back. read more

I'm a big time wing eater, and this is my favorite place to get them. I appreciate a tasty orange mild sauce and that's what the medium wings are here. While their prices have gone up, so have wings across the board due to the rising price of chicken wings and they're well worth it. I love the wings at this place! I have only had wings, fries, and sweet potato fries but they are so good. It isn't the cheapest but its totally worth it. Great flavor and very nicely sized wings. However, they could have used a little more time in the fryer. Skin was soft and gooey, felt like eating raw chicken. Sauce was plentiful, too plentiful, and extremely watery leaving hardly anything on the aforementioned slimey wings. Went to CR Wings on 12/27/2019; to order lunch for my staff, we have had many of orders from this place before it WAS a local favorite, When I picked up the food, it was COLD, And the order was all WRONG, I ordered over 50 dollars of food to be so disappointed, all of us had ordered a lunch special; when I called to speak with someone the lady who made the error was very rude, told me that the order was not rang up that way, we had ordered the Garlic hot wings; the wings did not have ANY GARLIC, the ketchup tasted like mop water/ and bleach almost like a dirty rag, the one set of wings had NO sauce Asian Sweet but they were naked, And the last one we had was the Gold Fever; and my co-worker did not even eat the food,, the Customer service was Horrendous and we WILL NEVER BE BACK. read more

YESSS!!! Finally, a great place for wings! Stopped in for lunch one day and this place is super awesome! It's like an old school wing joint up in upstate NY, where Buffalo Wings were born and raised! We were hoping they would have a bar area where we could sit and relax, watch some sports. They do not have such a thing, however :( but we were still able to order a bunch of food and sit at a regular table. The fries that come as a side to the wings are.. amazing! The wings here are about 2x the size of the wings you would get elsewhere, and the sauces are really a lot more flavorful. One of our options for watching sporting events will probably now consist of ordering from CR Wings, taking it home, and having our wings and sports at home. Not a bad plan overall! Best Wings Period! No one in Harford County can compare. The fries and fried pickles are great too. Sandwiches are only ok but we go for the wings and curly fries! The lunch specials are a great value you get fries and a drink with your entree for around 10 bucks. read more

I have been a customer my entire life and have always loved cr wings until I experienced food poisoning. I chose not to eat my wings after my second one knowing something was wrong. My boyfriend scarfed his down. He became violently ill and had food poisoning from the wings being under cooked as they were all drums. I contacted the manger and this is where i was disappointed. While I explained, the manager and another employee continue their own conversation and did not care that they served us undercooked chicken. After talking over me and my story they said they would contact the owner. Once I was contacted again the owner had no intentions of contacting me and the manger simply only wanted to give me a store credit for 10 MORE WINGS. Of course I did not except and will never return again. they were very unprofessional and insensitive and I would just like to warn anyone that can get sick from chicken easy that they will not take the situation seriously and will simply slap you in the face with an offer of more chicken. read more

This is hands down the best wings anywhere. I'm not lying when I say you can't find wings like this anymore. I don't get wings often but when I do I go to C.R Wings. Managers are great, but other staff needs some work (maybe I'm getting old, but it's a work place and not high school so let's be professional). We have had wings from CR's twice now and have been pleased both times. On our second visit though we decided to try their cheese steak panini as well......what a mistake that was! It was mystery meat at best! It looked like a frozen meat pancake smothered with nacho cheese. It's hard to believe that they would serve something that subpar when their wings are delicious. Stick with the wings and you won't be sorry. They could also stand to sweep up the restaurant too. First impressions are everything and trash is not a welcoming sight. read more

Updated review I now would rate them 4 stars The owner reached out and messaged me saying how sorry she was and would get to the bottom of things, also offering me a $20 gift card. I wish most restaurants would do that. I usually love C.R wings but things have gone down hill I feel like. They're food is usually pretty good. I got fried pickles today they were ok I wouldn't get them again. The main thing was the time it took to get my food. A couple of us went in and placed an order I told her we all would like to get the food around the same time, no big deal she said 20 minutes. The food came out at all different times which I hated once someone was done the others food was coming. So I waited 45 minutes and the food finally came out. I ordered 3 tenders, and a buffalo wrap. When my boyfriend and I started eating our food was cold, tasted like it just came out of the fridge. I complained and I got a refund on my tenders. It would of been nice to have a full refund after everything. Little disappointed the way it was handled. read more

Greatest wings ever. I have drove from nj to here 3 hours just for wings

Came in here on a Friday night. It was quite busy. There are seats along the side of the restaurant all the way to the back, where the restrooms are. It kind of smelled like a bathroom the farther back we walked. We got boneless wings as an app, I got a wrap and hubby got a burger. The burger was fresh cooked, no frozen meat patty crap. I appreciated that. My sidewalk wrap was a grilled chicken Cesar salad wrapped up in a tortilla. It was very good-- chickie was fresh and seasoned well. The wings were a true disappointment. We got medium buffalo boneless wings. The sauce and wings were horrible. The sauce separated and formed into oil and sauce. I was not a fan. Some of the regular wings people were eating looked pretty good. So perhaps we'll have to come back for those. But overall I was not impressed. The service was great, the cashier who took our order was very nice and the food came out within 10 minutes. But, with wings being in the name of this place, I expected better.
