This was not a great experience. We got seated and there was nobody really working there. We understood someone got fired and someone forgot to come in. But the bartender was working the bar and waiting. There was waiters on the other side and people working in the kitchen. Someone could of helped this guy. We didn't get our order taken for about an hour. We were at the restaurant for about 2 hours. We felt genuinely bad for the guy working by himself. The food was okay, but this place was the nicest TGI Fridays I have ever seen. It has a full bar and was clean. But the person who makes the menus around the world is trying way to hard to be trendy. My boyfriend and I visited last night for a late bite to eat. The restaurant was clean and of course the red decor catches my eye because red is favorite color! The restaurant had a few people in there, so it was easy to get a seat and service. The waiter was also the bartender and although sge was handling, she could've used some help, but she was definitely on top of things (attentive and pleasant)I ordered a bacon cheeseburger extra onions medium well and it was cooked exactly how I asked! I had onion rings as a side if which was good but I only ate about two because my burger was big, lol! The lettuce and tomatoes were fresh of which I can appreciate. My boyfriend got a burger as well (I didn't taste his, so I can't comment if it was good, but he didn't complain), nonetheless the drinks were good as well. This place is a DUMP. It's dirty and disgusting. Service was terrible. Had to ask for refills, had to ask for plates for appetizers, brought salads out 2 minutes before we had our meal served. Came in for the Veterans Day 2022 lunch. Not too busy initially but tables started filling up. Sat at the bar area. Excellent service and food came out fresh and tasty. Order the 6 oz. sirloin center cut with two sides, chips and salsa, and HH drinks. No issues with with the food or service. Place was clean and tidy. Service was horrible! Called ahead asking how long it would be for a party of 10, was told there isn't any wait. We all arrive and the waitress took our drink orders pretty quickly, but as we were waiting we had multiple other customers come up saying 'good luck' and that we'd be waiting awhile as they didn't have any luck with their service. About 30 minutes go by and we haven't seen our waitress or even gotten a single drink, yes we ordered items from the bar but we also ordered waters and other fountain beverages. Had to go find our waitress who told us service was slow due to an ongoing paint night, which would have been nice if you told us before we sat down. My family had a great experience at dinner the other night! Our server, Grant, was very polite and respectful. We asked for recommendations before we ordered. He was very knowledgable about the menu and recommended the dragon glazed salmon. It was terrific. The food came out quickly and hot. We went for dinner after errands. The salads were fresh, they had nice veggies in the salad-not just lettuce and a warm bread stick that was SO good. Our burgers came after we finished our salads and they were fresh, great flavor and perfect temperature. The entire meal was delicious, reasonably priced and our waitress, Liana, was the best. Both my wife and I enjoy going to TGI Fridays almost weekly for their whiskey glazed ribs. Fall of the bone and very tasty ribs. Our last 3 or so times at Fridays, we have had Kelly as our server. She is very knowledgeable of the menu and is always very pleasant and professional. She also anticipate our needs to the point we don't have to ask for anything like refills or extra napkins. it's really a very pleasant evening with having Kelly take care of us. read more

So sad. This was a simple order. Potato skins and wings. The potato skins were flavorless. The bacon was completely flavorless. The only way that happens is pre baking the bacon and let it sit all day. Pre bake the skins with the cheese and at the last minute sprinkle the old bacon on top and microwave. Shameful. Leaving this review because of all the previous ones. It's been quite sometime since I've been to any TGIF establishment. I haven't been in a while and the menu is still the same, they do need some new dishes on the menu. Plus side about this tgif is that I got seated right away, I asked for a booth and they had no issue with that. The table was clean and my server was very attentive. The drinks were delicious especially the new " Long Island" cocktail they serve. So sick of seeing the waitresses continue to use the drinking glass to scoop and chisel away at ice for the same drink she's going to serve customers. (Chef Ramsey says "Big-No-No" to this.) Despite telling the manager, A few refuse to use the plastic scooper. No concern for safety and health of customers. Instead the manager, he made prep filled glasses of ice for them to fill up. Indicates no control of employees who don't care about customers. Get rid of those that aren't following rules. Don't pacify their problem. Worst Fridays ever...first of all the mobile app didn't work and messaged me to see the server....I did and was told she couldn't assist me she could only give me reward points....hmmm....being tired I didn't feel like the argument. Update 8/2016 This place is dirty. lamp shades have so much dust on them I could write in it. the ledge behind the shade has 1/8 inch of dust on them. Service was good food was good but kinds gross. Arrived near noon...35 mins for soup and salad , come on. Iced tea tasted like it was from yesterday. Second glass was ok. I have not liked Friday's/Applebee's/Chili's for a while now. They are all the same, mediocre overpriced food served in a loud environment. It's been probably over ten years since I last visited one of these chains and I had that reason reaffirmed after the wife dragged me out to have some dessert she wanted to try. Let me describe the experience in chronological order. * We were greeted at the door within 30 seconds of our arrival, no one was waiting; then stood around for 5 minutes as the hostess tried to figure out what to do. * Once we were seated in our booth, our order was taken withing 5 minutes. My wife and I were served within 2 minutes of ordering, but my two sons waited 20 minutes just to get their 20 oz. specialty shakes. * Wife ordered 1/2 brownie with Bailey's Irish Cream, received brownie, no Bailey's. * 10 minutes later, a not quite two finger shot of Bailey's arrives along with the apology that they had a new POS system that nobody was trained on and seems nobody could figure out. * 8 minutes after that, 2 specialty shakes arrive. Not only would it have been hard to fit 12 oz. let alone 20 oz. into the small glasses they were served in, the "shakes" were mostly ice cubes. I had already finished the brownie by this time. * 12 minutes later, asked for check. Notice the Bailey's was $8! Jesus, I used to be a bartender and even the top shelf stuff never cost more than $2 a shot! Spent $48.00 on what was at most $5 worth of watered down food at best. The manager apologized, chalking it up to corporate policy. He did offer a coupon that I did not want, stating it would be the last time I would ever eat here, but the wife took it to give to a friend (must not be that good a friend). I really had the point of why I avoid these places driven home again, like being awaken by having a cold, wet trout slapped in my face. I would rate Friday's corporate one star for the poor food, I gave two to the restaurant only because I felt sorry for the manager and staff aimlessly struggling with an incomprehensible POS system. None of this excuses the staff from over stating the portion sizes. Just be honest, otherwise you just leave patrons with the sense of being ripped off. read more

I ordered from the Bel Air, MD location last night on the App for delivery..I ordered the Fridays combo which is boneless wings, potato skins and mozzarella sticks. My order was delivered I opened it up and realized my potato skins were not in there. So I called the restaurant ask to speak to the Manager. They put the manager Kyle on the phone. He is the worst human being alive..So unprofessional. Anyways I told Kyle that my potato skins were missing. He says oh no screaming at me they are not I packed your food myself. I made sure everything was correct because I had an issue twice not receiving my whiskey glaze sauce with my burger. If I ordered a whiskey glaze burger than why would you not send the sauce. I called corporate to report Kyle for his unprofessional behavior. He refused to accept that my skins were missing because I had to come back to the store twice to get my sauce. I use this location because it's closer to my house. But for now on I will call to see who is the manager on duty before I order. Kyle is a big liar and he do not need to manage any restaurant. The staff sat around talking most the time while we waited on drink refills. I also had to interrupt their gossip session so we could get the check paid so we could leave. It's been a while since we were here and I wrote my last review. This experience was much better all of the way around. Our sever was sweet and attentive, and gave me a few helpful suggestions. The food has never been 5 star but I've always liked coming here. The salmon had a good flavor, the Mac n cheese was too bland. Maybe comfort food should be bland?? But I prefer a bit more cheesy flavor. The nachos appetizer was really good. But I thought the presentation on just 4-5 large chips was very odd. I have to admit it is the cleanest way to eat nachos. My sweetie's ribs were just fine. All in all it was a good dinner out. I do love eating in the bar area since the renovation a year or so ago. read more

This TGIF used to give really good service and make really good food but, from the reviews and my recent experience I can see that customer service and quality is no longer the priority it once was. BLUF, I waited at least 15 minutes before I was even greeted, on a Monday night, half empty bar, with 2 bartenders, not good. The bar was filthy! I was asked what I wanted and as I gave the guy my order he began to cut me off trying to guess what I was going to say next! and then I waited another 15 minutes before he started making my drink, at which point I stopped him and walked out, a complete waist of time. read more
