Great local place to go. A lot of locals come here and if you are down here enough to know certain people in the area, you will most likely see them here at the bar. Us locals have our spots and this is one of them. If your from out of town or a shoeB you may not appreciate it as much. Bar is great, had the coldest beer I had all year here. Staff is fine, it's a bar to eat at. The wings are the best wings is south jersey to me, better than anywhere else on the island. I never ordered anything but the wings here. They have multiple selection of sauces. I order suicide order of 10 and 10 teriyaki. Small place, Wednesday nights is packed due to 10 cents off wings. Great bar and atmosphere. But you are noted for your wings and I would never think you would be serving "pressed chicken" for your boneless wings. My guess it they are bagged frozen Tyson -disgusting Come on. At least make boneless breasts not the garbage i was served. Now I know why they were cheaper than the wings. We went to C View Inn on Wednesday wing night, which we knew would be very busy. We opted to sit at the bar so we had no wait at all. Had we wanted a table, it would have been 15-20 minutes. The food came out quickly, was hot and tasted good. Wings were meaty and the honey bbq sauce was good, just enough on the wings! Not drowning in sauce, but not dry. Incredible deal for 39 cents a wing. We ordered 30 wings, 2 alcoholic beverages, 1 soda, and potato skins appetizer. Our bill came to $29 and change. read more

Let's start off with what there really famous for, the wings. The are outstanding. I go here once a month, have a beer and get 20 wings to go. It's a battle between what my favorite wing place is. This one or Charlie's in Somers point. But 80% of the time I think it's here As for the rest of the menu, it's all good. Even the pizza is great bar pizza. I don't mean it's the best pizza I ever had, but considering it's bar pizza, it's outstanding. It's not the biggest place, they have moveable tables to accommodate small or large parties and it's very busy and kinda of a "locals" place. My boyfriend and I went in for a late Monday dinner, and were extremely disappointed. We've always heard good things but didn't experience this ourselves. We were seated immediately, but it went down hill from there. We waited 20 minutes and absolutely no one came over to us. One of the waiters was clearing two tables around us and didn't say anything. No one even acknowledged us. Another family then came in, and the waiter immediately approached them. We got up and left!!! I hope this doesn't happen for anyone else, good luck! read more

We came to this place based on the reviews. We sat at a table and waited 15 minutes. No waitress even greeted us or came to bring water or acknowledge our presence. There were only 2 good things about this restaurant.. it was open late and their lobster bisque was good. Our food cane out cold and my fish and chips were so full of grease, that I could not eat them. When the waitress brought the check, we asked her why the fish and chips were still on there and she said "there was nothing wrong with them." We said they were so greasy and she removed it from the bill. My wife's Prime Rib sandwich was merely average. Not enough wait staff to take care of all tables, if it is early enough in the evening, there are better places to go to. read more

Horrible service. In fact, worst ever. For some reason, the waitress totally ignored us although it was clear that she knew we were her table. We sat for a solid 15 minutes after being seated and the waitress never came to our table. Finally, I brought this to the hostess' attention and she took our drink orders. Another 10 minutes go by and the waitress still hadn't come to our table to take food orders. We needed to enlist the bartender's help for that. Both the hostess and bartender were very nice and helpful. The food was good, however we definitely did not enjoy the experience. Also, I'd expect the prime rib special to come with a starter such as a salad or soup, or at least dinner rolls, which it did not. Because the food was good, and the hostess and bartender were very helpful, I wouldn't be ripping into this place if the management showed any concern that the waitress was ignoring our table. I twice asked to speak with a manager but to no avail. Lastly, I've seen lots of places make an effort to add some ambiance to their outdoor dining so you don't feel like you are just sitting in a parking lot with a bunch of tables thrown together. That was definitely not the case here. Zero ambiance. Probably reflects the style of the owners. Definitely will not be seeing the C-view (nothing to see or view) again. Good riddance! read more

My daughter and I (she's 9) visit Cape May several times a year and the C View is at the top of our list to eat. It's a true "family pub" in the English/ Irish sense. Great food! I live in Texas but can't find ribs as good there as we eat at the C View. The wings are also fantastic! Staff has always been spot on and the owner Greg is very dedicated to a great atmosphere,a super menu, and a great value. Food is way better and usually about a third less than a typical tavern on the "mall". Remember it's a bar too...we've never been there really late but if you don't mind a tavern atmosphere it's the place to go in cape May! You can't go wrong here. Its cozy, reasonably priced, great variety of menu items, friendly staff, good food, cold beer and great service. We most recently dined here on Saturday night, with our 14 year old son. We were not in a hurry, but our food was super fast and we were in and out in under an hour. I am not sure if we are just lucky regarding our experiences at this place, but I find it to be one of the most consistent and affordable "easy" food spots around. we usually get assorted salads loaded with blackened chicken or shrimp, etc. and the quality is outstanding...ESPECIALLY for the price. service is quick. the place gets packed in the off season, which is mostly when we go, but it is never too prohibitive where we have to leave due to unreasonable wait times. still pleasantly surprised each time we go here. my go to is the cobb with blackened chicken and extra bacon. read more

After living in Cape May my whole life and never going here, I decided to give it a try. They are known around town for their wings, and their boneless wings were nothing but amazing. Their cheesesteaks are not bad at all. Its a snug little spot and the parking lot is not all that great. However the food and staff were both excellent! read more

FORTY CENTS! Just letting y'all know they raised the the price of the wings again. That's fifteen cents since the Spring. I'm not complaining, just informing. I still think it's completely worth it. $4.00 for 10 wings is still great, especially for their ginormous wings. It was better when it was $2.50 for 10 wings and a free glass of water (now they only do bottled on wing night) I guess though some people were buttheads and only tipping like 50 cents on their $2.50 a person meal. Was not impressed by this place. Went there with hubby after reading awesome reviews on Yelp. We sat at the bar and ordered our drinks (price wasn't bad). Bartender brought us the menu and never came back to check on us! I mean.. We waited and waited... When she finally came back, we just paid for our tab and left. Ate somewhere else... If for the food alone, I've give it 5 stars easily. The wings are some of the best that I've had, and I lived in upstate New York for four years, so I know my wings. They're breaded wings and they are just so good. The nachos, salad and other dishes were terrific. Now, onto the rationale for two stars. The service was insultingly bad. Not just inattentive. The C-View is a great place to get well prepared, reasonably priced pub food in a vacation town full of overpriced options. The buffalo wings are as good as advertised. Large wings with crunch and great taste. Fish and chips (two decent pieces) were also great for $8.75 and perfect for lunch. Lots of daily specials too. We try this every year when in Cape May, and every year we are left wondering exactly why. Atmosphere is lackluster and only food slightly better. We stopped last Tuesday night and while the place wasn't that crowded, the service was slow. We weren't checked on for almost an hour after placing our order. When the food finally arrived, the fish and chips came with 2 very small pieces of fish (smaller than the fish filet you get from a box). Waitress "comped" the beer by scratching it out on the bill. But the totaled check still included the beer. We didn't ask to have it removed. We just won't go back. read more

If you are looking for a relaxed place to dine or drink in Cape May then you definitely want to go to the C View. Trust me, you will not be disappointed with anything on the menu. The wings are the BEST. I don't even order wings in NYC anymore, because they don't compare to the C View's. I always order honey hot, they are a unique flavor and so delicious! Other great options are the steamers, ribs, burger, honey dipped chicken, and any of the soups they are offering! The service is great, but at times a wait for a table can be pretty long. The bartenders are very friendly and quick. For food and service this good at the price offered- You can't beat it! read more

Food and drinks were good , but they are very lax in their posted social distancing rules. Owner walking around greeting customers without a mask and while the sign says masks must me worn unless seated, they do Not enforce. If you're comfortable with that ... have at it! We had gotten a few unsolicited recommendations to go here for wings and since my husband and I LOVE wings, we paid them a visit. Perhaps it was all the hype we got about it being the best wings EVER. They seemed to be decent, nothing special. It was a good place to go on a Sunday for some quick, decently priced food. The service was a tad slow for the fact that we were just one of three tables there and we had to flag the waitress down a couple times to re-fill our water. The special on the corn chowder was actually the best of the food we got. We also got the pulled pork which the waitress said would be really good, and was just OK (but my husband is from the South, so his standards are probably higher than most Northeastern folks). We saw they had some good deals during the week on ribs and wings and things like that, so would probably go back again if we were to come back to Cape May again on a weekday. read more

We came here for wings during happy hour. My mom remembers coming here as a child over 45 years ago and not much has changed. The wings are still great and the bar is still crowded but it is loud and the seats are all very close together. Overall, great place to spend some time with family and friends over some wings and onion rings. The root beer is great too! read more

Typical shore place. They have plenty of tvs to watch a game and usually have descent beer specials. The food is very average (burgers, cheese steaks, fries, etc), but the wings are actually VERY good. Really crispy and meaty. I'd go back just for them. read more
