The restaurant is in a super busy area, and easy to miss but has a parking lot accessible from one direction only based on traffic. It wasn't packed inside at lunch, since we arrived after 2pm. Dispensing with beverages and appetizers, we ordered our entrees right away. Husband chose the boat ramp tacos with blackened fish ($2 upcharge for blackened). On flour tortillas, there were three nice fish tacos with a little lettuce and tomato topped with a spicy drizzle of Baja sauce. Chips (thick and crunchy) and a green salsa rounded out the plate. He was happy! Although I knew I wanted to try the gluten-free shrimp and crab cakes entree, I found out at lunch time they do not have the herbed polenta mentioned on the menu. I discussed my various side options with the server, and decided on the mashed sweet potato instead and the seasonal veggies were green beans, a favorite. This was a stellar entree and very healthy to boot. I didn't care for the bland yellow pepper aoli that came with this dish. The crab and shrimp cakes had a nice texture, and were much better after I got some zingy red cocktail sauce to go with them! Very pleased with my dish. We paid our bill and got back on the road quickly, but wanted to memorialize the occasion with a positive review. Definitely worth coming back for another meal here!

In practice, it was overwhelmed by garlic to the point that the garlic eclipsed nearly everything else. There was also surprisingly little rigatoni pasta; the dish was dominated by mushrooms. We wouldn't order the pasta again, but that's a relatively minor complaint for an otherwise excellent meal. Grana is absolutely worth a return visit and there's plenty on the menu that we'd happily order again. It gets a relatively older crowd, but I don't mind if that food is good.

I think the woman was either the owner or the manager. She seemed to take good care of the regulars at the bar, even giving them free drinks. But she was extremely rude to us, who were clearly tourists. Even though we were sitting at the same bar, she ignored us like we weren't there, didn't take our order at first, and acted like we didn't exist. She eventually came over, but even then, she got our order wrong. She ignored us from the start, missed part of our order, and it took over 40 minutes for us to get all our food. I don't want to think it was because we're Asian, but honestly, it felt that way. She didn't even bother to apologize. The beer was flat with no carbonation, the wings were okay, but the pizza was honestly terrible. This place seems like a local hangout where regulars get free drinks and good service, but I would never recommend it to outsiders. If that bartender is the owner, there's probably nothing that can be done, but if she's just an employee, I really hope the owner sees this review. I have never had a more unenjoyable and infuriating experience at a restaurant in my entire life. While the food was ok a group of Peter Pan syndrome men who acted like frat boys were seated next to us. We said something and despite the bare breasts they were looking at on their phone, their hate speech, ridiculous behavior, and disgusting talk about the wait staff and the women around them nothing was done. If we hadn't gotten out of there when we did I would have said something. Is this behavior towards your staff and patrons ok with you c-view? Locals like us support your business in the off season. I can say if ignoring fools like this group of man children continues I won't be. I decided if I called in an order I would give them a second chance and at least not have to deal with their rowdy drunk tough guys. I asked for all flats and they said they wouldn't do that. I have never been somewhere that would not serve all flats when asked. If I am paying for my wings that request should be honored. Guess I won't be getting wings from there ever again. read more

The owner scoffed at me when he saw my pickle rick shirt (from the hit show rick and morty) and told me he would sleep with my wife after he was done serving me. After what felt like eons (long period of time) my wife, her boyfriend, and I were seated and served the dryest burgers I have ever seen, comparable with the sands of the Gobi Desert (desert in China). When I asked for some sauce (Saskatchewan sauce in particular) to make the meal edible, the owner rudely chortled and suggested I order from the kids menu next time. I am NOT a child for liking Rick and Morty and the joke's on him, because I watched my wife have the best sex of her life later that night- and she sure as heck wasn't having it with the restaurant owner. read more

This place is mean! It used to have a great feel to it. It is obvious they are chincing on the little things. Friendliness is one of them. We also miss mandy, a great barkeep as well as the tall blonde natalie. They were friendly. The last time I had takeout I ran across the street to get money and was given attitude when I got returned, as if I were going to run off. Late night is dead here as well. Ere is no where better to get wings. They are of great size and the sauce it perfectly flavored. However, my favorite feature is their blue cheese, it compliments the wings flavor perfectly. This is an absolute must try if your in the area. Be forewarned if you go on wing night get there early or be prepared to wait.
