I feel like a local going to this local bar eatery. There is a small lot but it's tight so we parked on the street. The inside is tight but doesn't matter as we really enjoyed our food. The table really enjoyed the wings The staff was super friendly Prices were reasonable We will be back

Sadly, dining out at the shore can be overpriced, overhyped and overrated - That's not the case at C View Inn. The interior is everything you want from your local bar and the menu, incredibly affordable tavern food with a few cool surprises.

Oldest Tavern in Cape May, serving customers since 1948. Ambience is nostalgic and dive-bar-ish but cool. We stopped in on a Monday night in April and the restaurant and bar area was busy, we found 2 seats at the bar and took in a Phillies game, enjoyed a few pints, enjoyed the boneless hot wings ("bites") and tried out the Monday Rib special. The beers were cold and delicious, the hot wing bites were perfectly spicy, with chunky blue cheese dressing on the side and celery. The rib platter can't be beat for the price and taste, served with fries and slaw. Bartender was helpful and friendly.

Stella and garlic hot wings! Delicious!

Neighborhood gem filled with locals. Absolutely amazing wings... and many different sauces. My bf had the garlic hot wings and wow... was the sauce delicious! Wings had very little fat and were very meaty. I got the buffalo sautéed shrimp which were very good. Only mediocre thing was the bar pie... was thinking of thin crust like Star tavern, but was more like a premade crust with sauce and tons of mozzarella! Can't wait to return to try a few more things. Prices very reasonable. Service definitely faster for locals, but we weren't in a rush!

Went here twice in our trip. First time was just with the 4 of us...got the wings on the special and was awesome. Wings are huge and the rest of the food was pretty good too. Went back two nights later and there were 7 of us. Only thing was they put two very small tables together cause they said the bigger tables are for bigger parties. They seat 4. Whether it was us or two groups of three, those tables would've been used. Food and atmosphere was still great second time around though minus the cramped table part. I would for sure hit this little gem up!

Great Locals spot that welcomes visitors. Reasonably priced drinks and entrees. Parking lot is tight and small so just plan ahead. Gets crowded during NFL games. Nice place for a low key meal or drink with a friend.

I just had a fantastic dinner with my family at the C View Inn! It has a small dining area but I loved the atmosphere. Our waitress was awesome and was very attentive to our needs throughout the meal. We all really enjoyed the food we ordered My sister, dad and I ordered the Lobster Bisque and it was soooo good! My sister and dad split mild buffalo wings; I got honey BBQ wings with ranch and they were shockingly crispy and so delicious; my brother got a bacon cheeseburger with loaded fries and loved it too! The only thing we didn't love was the potato skins -- they were okay but not the best we've had. Overall, I would definitely recommend the C View Inn and I will definitely be back!

Casual, comfortable and affordable corner sports bar with excellent meaty wings. Be prepared to wait during peak times.

Best wings in the area, one of the few local places with reasonable prices. We come weekly and are never disappointed.

They use frozen pizza and their wings are big chicken knuckles that are dried out. Anything in Caoe May would be better!

We started with the scallops with risotto as an appetizer. I'm not a huge fan of scallops, but my wife really enjoys them, and she thought they were excellent. We were a party of three and sat on the back patio area. It's such a relaxing spot to sit in the shade surrounded by the plants. Fabiola was our server. We ordered calamari to share as well as the Double Smash Burger, Lobster Roll, and the Blackened Salmon Po Boy. We all enjoyed our food. I typically order the Crab Cake Tacos and I regret not ordering them. The Lobster Roll was tasty but I do not enjoy the lobster salad being chopped up small as it was. It wasn't a traditional Lobster Roll preparation and I didn't realize it was $29. I regretted my selection.

While I'm a parent too, some kids don't belong at a restaurant like this and can spoil a special occasion dinner. Service was good but noticeably slower as our server coped with the larger sized parties (8-10 people). We were acknowledged for our anniversary which was nice, but the proximity to these large parties was not appreciated. The large dining room area here is loud and the silver walls are tacky. Appreciated a quieter table last year in one of the more intimate, quieter areas of the restaurant. While I still love this restaurant, removing a star for the reasons stated.

Reservations seem highly recommended because it seems most people came here with one. It's fine dining (price-wise - very reasonable for fine dining). It's also BYOB -- like the name says. I loved every moment of this. Service was very attentive and professional. I did feel worried that I was a bit underdressed because I had tennis shoes on, but it was not an issue. It is not a huge restaurant, but it's elegant and definitely meant more as a special night out than a casual spot. If you are looking for seafood options, look no further than here. If you want to impress someone, take them here. Now, onto the food. The bread is complimentary and we ate it all (along with our refill). The butter was freshly made, I believe. I had the winter prix fixe menu and my sister ordered à la carte. Their prix fixe and tasting menus tend to change quite often so it'll always be interesting. My sister ordered the Spanish octopus (1st course) and the Scottish Salmon. I had some of her octopus and salmon. They were both such well-made dishes. We would definitely order the octopus again. Chewy and delicate. I had the arancini, fra diavolo, and the chocolate tart. It was absolutely delicious. The arancini were small, but it was still well filled with tiny bites of clam. The fra diavolo was also very good and filling. Plenty of seafood to go around in that dish. Spicy too, which I like. At the end, we shared a chocolate tart -- and I must say, we were already full at this point. The chocolate was rich and the pistachio ice cream was perfect. We will definitely be back.

We started with the caprese salad, which was fresh and exactly what you want from a starter, followed by the summer corn soup, which was comforting without feeling heavy. The standout was the special New York strip. It arrived beautifully cooked, tender and flavorful. Service was equally strong by being attentive without being overbearing. The one misstep was the rigatoni, essentially a truffle mac and cheese with mushrooms and shaved truffles. On paper, it sounded promising, especially paired with a steak. In practice, it was overwhelmed by garlic to the point that the garlic eclipsed nearly everything else. There was also surprisingly little rigatoni pasta; the dish was dominated by mushrooms. We wouldn't order the pasta again, but that's a relatively minor complaint for an otherwise excellent meal. Grana is absolutely worth a return visit and there's plenty on the menu that we'd happily order again. It gets a relatively older crowd, but I don't mind if that food is good.
