Very fast response time. I had a room in my house without power on Sunday and contacted CA Electrical Group and they gave me an appointment for Monday between 2 to 6 pm. The electrician Omari called me around 2:15pm that he was on his way and he arrived 5 minutes later. I thought the problem was just a bad circuit breaker and he checked the panel and confirmed the breaker was bad, but even after replacing the breaker there was something in the room that was causing the breaker to trip. He then checked all 5 electrical outlets in the room and found frayed and melted wires in one outlet. He re-wired that outlet and that fixed the problem. The price for the work was more than reasonable and less than what I had expected to pay especially since it was more than just a bad circuit breaker read more

I contacted CA Electrical Group for a full-house rewiring project. Jacob came to my home to understand my needs and provided a detailed quote. I was very impressed with his patience in explaining what needed to be done and how the work would be carried out, especially since I was still living in the house and concerned about maintaining power during the project. As part of the project, I also needed to add a subpanel. Jacob explained the steps clearly and made sure I understood how it would integrate with the new wiring. The team completed the entire project in just one week. The recessed lights I requested were part of the project, and when they worked on my bedroom, everything was carefully restored before they began. On the day they installed the lights, I was out, and when I returned, I was amazed--my room was bright and refreshed with the four new recessed lights. My garage power went out, and my usual fix--turning the breaker fully off and back on in a recently installed panel--didn't work. I noticed a reset button on the breaker and tried that too, with no success. I assumed the breaker had failed. I called CA Electrical Group, and the next morning their supervisor, Jacob, came out. Within minutes he showed me that the breaker required a specific reset sequence I didn't know about. Once that was done, the issue was resolved. Jacob then went above and beyond. He removed the panel cover, carefully inspected the wiring, and confirmed everything there was in good shape. I also have a much older exterior panel that feeds the newer one, and he took the time to inspect that as well. While it wasn't the best installation, he explained clearly how the two panels were interconnected and what to watch for going forward. He spent over an hour with me, explained everything thoroughly, and did not charge me anything. I was extremely impressed with Jacob--very knowledgeable, focused on doing what's best for the customer, and genuinely friendly. First I will call out the primary reason for 5 stars is due to their superstar electrician - Israel. He is so busy and works really hard running all over town and to different cities making sure clients are taken care of. He explains things very well, is super professional and understanding, and very respectful of your home and everyone/everything in it. They're generous with fixing any problem, you just need to be patient to make sure to fit into a convenient schedule. I would suggest to just confirm an appointment the morning of, because things happen and their scheduler team could maybe be busy. Easy quote process, and the individual that came to replace the breaker switch knew what they were doing and replaced it quickly. No complaints. He came by evaluated the electrical panel and made recommendations based on where I wanted to place my EV charger. Installation was scheduled once the quote was approved and deposit made. Another individual came to install based on the instructions Kfir had provided him and the video. The individual was also really good. Installed and cleaned up after himself. It took a bit long then I was expecting but was completed in a few hours on the same day. I would highly recommend this company to have your EV installed. Reached out for electrical work in the backyard, to have outlets installed by pulling the wires from the lights on the walls. Jacob mentioned work can be done but it could be messy for what we are trying to achieve. Instead he advised me to contact a different source for better solution with out the outlets. Jacob came out and tried to quickly fix my GFCI tripping problem but after trying several things he couldn't get it to work with the load outlet attached. He quoted coming back out and I was happy to put down the deposit. Because I wanted to investigate more, I found that the GFCI by itself worked fine and once the load was attached it tripped so I figured it must be a problem with the load. The old style push to connect wires was not connecting strong enough causing the GFCI to trip. Once I wrapped the wire around the screw, a more solid connection was made and everything worked. Because I fixed the problem, I emailed Jacob to hopefully get a refund for the future visit. My deposit was refunded and this is a very happy customer. When I plan to install a charger, I will definitely call them. read more

Jacob took the time to explain the problem in my house. The "quick fix" would have been to find the outlet where there was a short and fix that. Jacob explained the proper fix would be to rewire with proper grounding done. Quick fix would be a few hundred dollars and the rewiring would cost upwards of $15,000! I needed the quick fix though but Jacob was very clear he couldn't do that. But as promised he did not charge for diagnosis and the estimate. I was happy about. Overall I would recommend this company if you want to really understand what's going on and I would perhaps go with them for larger projects. I will say that the quick fix cost me much less and while I still have ungrounded wiring, that's a problem for another day. read more

My response if for Electricians On Duty. They responded to my phone call immediately and did not charge a fee to come to my home. Several other Electrical companies charged between $85-$280 - just to show up. I spoke with Francisco and Raphael regarding replacing a garbage disposal and faulty kitchen electric sockets. All 3 brothers came to my home very promptly. They are efficient, professional, polite, trustworthy and dressed very clean, competent and highly experienced. We also discussed kitchen recessed lighting and replacing an outdoor broken light.   All 3 brothers are extremely polite, fairly priced and above all experienced. I'm very happy to have met all 3 of them and look forward to working with Electricians On Duty. Not only are they the BEST of numerous electrical companies I contacted. They were very helpful. i had recently had a friend help me with the wiring in the switch so it was working but , i was concerned , and again they were very helpful, The suggestion was to accept it should have been on a separate line but at this time it was too late really so okay, i will use the space heater i bring in the room instead of using the ceiling heater in this room. read more
