Food: 6/5 AMAZING MEXICAN FOOD! I have never had such good Mexican food in my life. They literally make the tortillas right in front of your face, and they even make different flavors of them! All the ingredients are super fresh and the meat is great! Service: 4/5 All the staff wear gloves and masks. They are very friendly and diligent. They move fast, while making sure they don't mess up your order. Quality: 4/5 They have an outdoor and indoor dining area with nice chairs and tables. They sanitize the furniture between customers, and make sure they are clean. Prices: 4.5/5 Very reasonable prices! We got 5 tacos and a HUGE burrito for $27! It fed the three of us! The meats were all well balanced in prices and there is even a "double up" on the meat for a little bit more! You get in line, and go thru telling each person what you want along the way to the end at the register where you pay cash or card, and remember to ask for a stamp card so you get a free order after six visits / orders! You start with either tortilla, tacos, or bowl. The first person you meet also asks if you want fish so they make sure down the line if they are short on fish your next in line for the next fresh batch (fried cripsy Sustainable Deep-Water Lake-Grown Tilapia) They hand make on their spinning metal machine your tortilla from one of four flavors or mix and match ! They are all delicious! Then you chose your protein. They have done phenomenal meals for my friends and clients in networking groups I am a member of that I get together for lunch or dinner here or at any of the four locations in Austin I go to! The ben white is their first ever location. UT location thankfully has plenty of parking and options to get in and out. They all have the option to order to go or oder online and have order brought to your vehicle. You choose following your protein your toppings, guac and queso are extra. Then you chose your sauce. My favorite is the extra hot 66! pico mango is amazing too ! Definitely give these guys a chance if your in Central Texas and you will not be disapointed! For the price and the amount of food, cabo bobs is a new favorite. As long as they don't change the way that they pile on the food, I'll be a loyal customer here. The flavors sometimes fall flat so you need to make sure to put a lot of sauce on but as long as you do that, it is a good meal :) I like how you can make it healthy with all the veggies and additions and overall, it's a great experience. Also the burrito handler wrapped my giant burrito like a boss... somehow no big leaks, which I wouldn't be able to do.. Just check out how big this burrito is! read more

Literally have no idea who would give this place a good review. I had the just fish tacos. Order this only if you like cheap fish sticks. Ick. Also had the chips and queso. Order this only if you like vats of heavy melted cheese with little flavor. Brisket burrito is more like carne asada. Pot roast on a tortilla. The worst part of the experience was yet to come. I think the worst smelling bathroom I may have ever encountered in my life. Husband confirmed the men's room stank too. And it's not even a sewer smell, it's something else. Think Chipotle but better... a LOT better. Not only are the ingredients more flavorful and not soaked in salt, it's also cheaper! For anyone looking for a good burrito with really tasty tortilla choices, definitely come. Cilantro tomatillo is my favorite tortilla. The bits of springy-ness from the cilantro helps make an otherwise really heavy burrito a bit easier to stomach and more flavorful. I always ask for the tortillas to be toasted for a little extra longer, and the slightly crispy exterior plus the chewiness of the rest the tortilla and fillings tastes amazing. Fill the burrito with whatever you want, it'll taste good regardless, and definitely give their specialty sauces a try. Their 66 Red Sauce is a more acidic barbecue sauce, and if you like spice, try their XXtra Hot sauce that's both smoky, spicy, and really tasty. I wish they would come up to Plano, but I used to go to Cabo Bob's in various locations around Austin 5 days a week for multiple years and my visits back to Austin are not the same without a burrito with a fresh pressed tortilla. Even with all of those visits, my enthusiasm has not wavered in the slightest and it's still one of my favorite places on earth. If I could have food from only one restaurant for the rest of my life, it would be Bobs. This location has some tricky parking, but don't let that detour you if you haven't been! read more

We made a quick stop here for lunch during our visit to Austin. The line was long when we first arrived but don't be frightened, it moves really fast. Once in front, we picked what we wanted in our burrito and moved asking pretty quickly. There were stickers to help with digital distancing and everyone had to have their masks on. Chipotle but make it tropical! I love the from scratch, fresh tortillas at Cabo Bob's that come in variations. I got the cheddar one for my #1 Just Fish Tacos, and they were lightly toasted and flakey! Like chipotle they've got complimentary fixings that you can choose from or go with their set menu. I recommend leaning towards the crispy fish options, since their mango pico is unique and a must try! The pico is fruity, fresh, and a little spicy. I also got their chips and queso, which wasn't too exciting. Still some solid Texas queso though! They also offer Mexican sodas, always a welcome addition to tacos. Usually spots near the university are too hard to get to, but Cabo Bob's has this huge parking spot all to itself. I came here during the winter holiday time, so there was even more space. This is my favorite place to eat on campus. The way the food is served is similar to Chipotle where you go down the line telling the server what you want. However, something about their food makes it so refreshing and guilt free. Food quality is nothing like chipotle, it's much better!! It's a place where you can choose to eat health or not based on what you want to put in your order. Also their special flavored tortillas are amazing! I got to try Cabo Bob's Burritos during my trip to Austin, and it was definitely one for the books. Firstly, the parking is minimal. We definitely had to spend a few minutes, trying to look for some parking. When we got inside, we didn't have to walk far because the line was all the way to the door. This was perfect because we got to look through the menu a little bit and decide on what to order, and the service was super fast anyways. Cabo Bob's Burritos is a "Chipotle"-restaurant styled, where you get to pick your fillings, as you like. The thing that makes Cabo Bob's stand out, is the freshly pressed tortillas. Me and my party got the Ancho chilli and Cilantro tomatillo mix tortilla with the Baja fish. We got our variety of toppings, and sat down. I'd like to commend Cabo Bob's for their serving sizes because the size of one burrito was perfect for two people to share. But the burrito. Usually awesome but today was :-( Location is great for us and it's always clean and nice to meet up with my kids. Today, Jan 15th....why must that ONE lady be so upset and in a bad mood? I'm in a good mood, the fam is in a great mood and excited about picking up delicious burritos BUT asking for 1 actual spoonful of meat shouldn't have killed the CB experience today. Usually, it's a scoop and good enough but today was a little light. Sorry it happens. I kindly asked BUT hmmm, they threw the burrito in the trash. Eeek...Perhaps management needs to supervise to encourage that one person that might need that extra motivation on that one day. The food is good and like I said normally pretty good overall and we always see someone we know there. I'm usually here once a week and my kids there twice a week but today, wow, sorry. She took the burrito and threw it away. That's okay. Some days I feel I have to draw a line and if she feels the burrito needs to be trashed, I guess they do that too. I've only been here twice. The first time I got a fish burrito, which is their most popular item, and the second time was recent, and I got their best beef burrito. Surprisingly, I prefer the beef burrito. It was very melty and the cheese and beef came together well. Both times that I've been here, I would only eat half of the burrito and save the rest for another meal, which is a very good deal considering how cheap it is. There's a reason why Cabo Bob's is so popular for students. My second visit left more of an impression on me than my first one, and I actually want to come back and possibly try a different combination or the same beef burrito. read more

Luckily, the answer to your problem is simple - Get to Cabo Bob's now! Easily, the best thing about CB's are the homemade flour tortillas which come in Buttermilk Flour, Ancho Chili, Smokey Cheddar, and Cilantro Tomatillo, but that just where the fun begins. Next, you load up on the chicken, the shredded pork, the brisket, the steak or even the crispy fish, followed by the beans, rice, queso, veggies and assorted toppings.
