I did not even get an apology for being hung up on and I felt rushed. She did not take her time with taking in my order. Horrible. Nobody in line to order. Stood at the register for 5 min waiting to order. Girl comes out asked if I've been helped and state no. She then tells me it'll be a min and goes to the back. I am a fan of their Roma sandwich! Two types of salami, and an actual marinara sauce with meat that is smeared on as a spread, along with lettuce, onions, and pepperoncinis (wow, is that really how you spell that? anyway...). Honestly it's so delicious and filling that it's all I've ever ordered at this deli. I like the location. It never seems to busy and sandwiches are made to order promptly. I've heard the original Caesar's is best but I am rarely on the east side and have never been to that location. So first of all I love this place and the food is amazing but the customer service? Needs a lot of work. My friend and I went in to grab some lunch when ordering, their cash register was down so they kept my debit card, took everyone else's order who was behind me while I waited for 20 minutes. And not once did anyone who worked there said anything to me or even apologized for the inconvenience. Basically ignored me until I went up to them again. Still nothing so my friend ends up paying for me with cash. Once we start eating my friend notices that they also forgot to put cheese on her sandwich when she specifically asked for it. I love this place!!! The food is amazing, the staff are always super nice and the atmosphere and smells of a little Italian deli are awesome. Every original menu sandwich is just crazy good but I like to try the different specials they post often like the Chipotle Chicken or the Toasted Ruben. I called in an order for pick up (assuming I would be in and out of there faster) and they told me 10 minutes. That was perfect, so I thought. I get there and walk up to the register to ask where I go for pick up, she says "you need to wait in line." There were about 20 people in line - I was furious knowing this was far from a "10 minute" wait. When I finally got to the front of the line, I asked why did you tell me 10 minutes, knowing I'd probably be in line for at least another 15? She explained they are ALWAYS busy on Saturdays. That was my point - don't tell me 10 minutes if it's really 30 and prepare me for waiting in a line that is like waiting in line at the post office! They know how busy they are, so be honest about it, DON'T LIE! Poor customer service. read more

I w not for the first time today. I ordered and paid online thinking I could get in and out quickly. They don't have a carry out only area. I had to wait in line with the rest, and the line was out the door. The long line speaks for itself, the food is amazing and reasonable. I gave 2 stars because they do have decent sandwiches and great party platters however if your customer service is horrible I don't care how good your food is I wont be back. I placed an order last Wednesday for 2 deli trays; a meat and cheese for 20 people and a veggie tray. I was asked what time would I like to pick up my order and I said 4pm. I came into to pick up at 4:45 and upon walking up I noticed all the chairs and tables were being taken in and looked like shop was being closed. I was a little confused since the sign said open till 7. Anyhow I went to the counter and asked for my order. I was given the meat and cheese tray and then was told my veggie tray wasn't ready and that it was going to take a few minutes and if that was ok? I said not really because I have a party for clients at 5:30 and that is why I asked for the trays to be ready at 4 so I wouldn't run into this problem. She apologizes and says they will hurry. It took about 10 mins. So I take my trays and head back to the office to get ready for clients who will be showing up in about 15 mins. As I am setting everything out I then notice I was not given the bread slices that were suppose to come with the meat and cheese tray. I then call and the girl who answers tells me yes I was suppose to get bread and I can come back and pick it up?????? Really!?1? I said "Ummm no I can not because my party starts in 5 mins". I didn't have time to come and drive all the way (my office is off of harris and white ln) back down to pick up bread that someone forgot to give to me after I waited for a platter that wasn't ready. So I requested for a manager to call me back regarding these issues. She took my name and number and said she would give it to the manager. Here it is a week later and I still have not received a call for the manager. I had to run to nearest store (Wal-mart) to grab some sliced pyrnees bread to go with my meat and cheese platter. It would not be that big of a deal if it was something I payed a couple of dollars for but I spent $73. Then to show up 45 min later than time I asked for platters to be ready and they are not yet someone is out front pulling in all the tables and chairs??? They forget to give me my bread and expect me to come back and pick it up. They deliver yet didn't offer to bring it to me since after all it was their error. So it has been 10 days since and I still have not received a phone call and obviously I wont! Oh and I also emailed them and didn't get a response that way either. Wont be back! read more

I absolutely love Ceasars!! However after work one day my husband and I had no kids for the night! Yay!!! So we stopped in at 6:20pm. It was very obvious the staff was bothered and upset. I asked are you still open and they stated yes till 7. Okay great! Ordered our food, when asking about some salads, was cut short they were out. They continued to put chairs on tables and clean so we decided not to stay and eat since we felt uncomfortable. I just know being a local business owner myself I would want to know if my staff reacted this way. Please know that the food is fab!!!!!! I'm surprised with all the times I've eaten here or have gotten food here I've never written a review... well now is the time. I really like this little spot, they have good food, decent prices and the staff is generally pretty friendly. When my wife and I were dating and she lived in town, I think we would go probably like once or twice a week. I like the fact that they have meat and cheese ready to be sliced and fresh salads ready to go. The platters and the catering they do seem to really be a great deal also. Even though we don't live in town anymore, we might just think of some occasion to get a nice lunch catered by them. My favorite sandwich is the Roma and I usually have them add mayo to it and it is amazing! The ranch pasta is awesome and they have a great selection of chips. You can't go wrong here, I need to be adventurous and try new things like the pastrami or meatball sandwich. I just keep coming back to the same delicious sandwich, every time! We were sent to Caesar's for a tasting appointment in order to use them for our wedding. We were slightly nervous due to the fact that we were not told by our wedding venue it was Italian food and we work at an Italian restaurant. We were very pleasantly surprised the food was amazing!!! We loved everything...meat, noodle dishes, salad, green beans, potato's...everything he put in front of us we loved! The Garlic Chicken and Tri-Tip were soo amazing and EXACTLY what we were hoping to have at the wedding so it was a great relief!! Tasting went so extremely well that we mention them to everyone we meet!!! Such a friendly staff as well and he packed up all the leftovers that were uneaten so we could take them home. You know this place is good when you walk in and smell the heavenly Italian food aromas, yum! I'm a fan of their Venice sandwich. The soft, REALLY fresh sesame roll is so good I could eat plain but when paired with ham, cheese, mayo and peppers - delish! People are discovering how great this place is, there are usually lines at lunch time but service is fast and efficient and you won't have to wait long for a scrumptious ready made to order sandwich.
