My husband and I stumbled upon this place after searching for another store in Media. I am obsessed. Seven Stones is amazing and so relaxing. Very reminiscent of one of our favorite places when we lived in West Chester called Fennarios (minus the smoke). I had lox and light cream cheese over a whole wheat bagel and a black coffee. My husband had a chai latte with espresso and an everything bagel. We were served immediately and able to enjoy our food at a table under tons of amazing local art. We will be back often to sit outside and eat when the weather get's better. I am so grateful that we found this place! The service, atmosphere, and food were extraordinary! read more

Seven Stone Is an amazing little place. They have great coffee and fair trade teas. They have lots of pastries, muffins, and bagel sandwiches, but none of them are gluten free. Still, a great place to grab a coffee/tea and take in the scenery. My favorite coffee is the Irish Escape. :) read more

A few weeks ago we stumbled upon this gem tucked off of state Street and ordered a few speciality coffee drinks. They were so amazing good and fairly priced that I may never return to Starbucks again. The sandwiches, some of which are tailored for vegans, all sounded amazing. They have La Columbe for purchase and will grind it for you as well. The delicious sweets were hard to turn down, but looked oh so tempting. If you're ever in Media, this is a can't miss. Good gelato, good coffee, but literally every time I've walked in for food, the kitchen is closed. I wish they made it clear what hours their kitchen is open, but it's not even made clear on the door that their kitchen keeps significantly shorter hours than their coffee shop. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed, and yet it is quite consistently busy! The food is tasty from bagels, Panini's and freshly baked items. Tried the apple pie, lime merengue, carrot cookie sandwich... all delicious. And outdoor seating in pedestrian alley nice for reading with one of their teas or coffees. read more

Was looking for a place in Media with good coffee and thankfully found this place. It's tucked away in a pedestrian walkway. They have a large selection of drinks, food, and desserts. The baristas are friendly and overall the cafe had a relaxed feel. Had the red eye with a bit of irish cream. They use la columbe roasts! Very rich in flavor and aroma. Had someone comment on how good the coffee smelled. Tried their blondie dessert which while on the crumbly side was very good. read more

I have tried to be forgiving of this, our only locally owned cafe, but I am done. The coffee was more burnt than Starbucks, they closed the kitchen at 4pm so you have to buy things out of the case that have been sitting there all day. I was reduced to buying carrot cake that was like eating flavored sawdust. When I asked about the Wi-fi, they said there was none. What kind of coffee shop doesn't offer Wi-fi?? The answer from the employee behind the counter, "we don't have Wi-fi because we don't want people sitting here all day." I nearly laughed out loud, there were four customers there including myself! The last time my wife was there she ordered a veggie burger to go. When she was given the burger without chips, she asked an employee for them. Her response was that you only get chips if you are eating in. My wife replied that she was paying the same price either way, so what does that matter? The girl shoved the bag in my wife's hand and said it was a management thing - there was nothing she could do about it. When she ate the burger it was hard and chewy, like it was cooked in a microwave to long. These are just two of the many disappointing experience we have had at Seven Stones Cafe. If you are hungry and want a nice place to sit and do some work, this place is not worth the 25 cents an hour it costs for parking. read more

Do NOT order anything that they make on the premises. Given this place many different tries, the food is not good. Eggs seem like they are made the night before and microwaved at time of order. Cream cheese is gross. Bacon has no taste. The place has a huge kitchen, and a small restaurant area, you'd think the food quality would be better. Best bet is to order coffee and a piece of coffee cake (which is not made on premises). The coffee is very good, at least they figured that part out. read more

My finance and I moved to Media this past May. We were really excited to have this cute coffee shop that also serves vegan food within walking distance from our apartment. We go 1-2 times per week and are always satisfied with the food and drink. HOWEVER, the staff is unbearably awful to deal with. Almost everyone I've dealt with has an attitude of "I'm better than you and you're bothering me." It really upsets me to be treated like this in an establishment that is otherwise a nice place to go. read more

I really like their coffee and drink choices, as well as their packaged gluten/dairy free cookies- no matter how expensive they are. The ambiance is terrific, too. However, I'd agree with the reviewers that their customer service is spotty at best. I've seen them be very outgoing towards some customers and dismissive towards others. Once I waited for several minutes in front of the counter to order while a barista had a photo shoot taken by her friend. When she'd posed enough times as one can with a cup of coffee, she asked me, "Did you decide what you wanted?" , as if she was just trying to give me enough time to memorize the menu. I've noticed that when they've delayed a customer with slow service, they bring out that line- maybe it's taught during new hire orientation. The bottom line is that despite the fact that I usually receive poor customer service there, the food and coffee make the trip worth it, even if not always enjoyable. read more

mmmmnnn tasty! came here for a quick bite. It was a tad crowded, but the food was worth it. Grilled cheese with a mug of green tea. It took a while to get the food, but hey, there were busy. i was pleasantly surprised to see that it came with a side of tortilla chips instead of fries. The food was well seasoned and perfect. not too greasy like some grilled cheeses can be, buttery and gooey. I cannot wait to go here again with friend! Nice little Cafe right in the heart of Media on Plum Street...can't beat the location. They use La Colombe coffee which I love and they have a limited menu like most cafe's but there are quite a few gems on there that keep me coming back. The people there are all really friendly and they so their best to make your day. The only drawback is it does get too crowded sometimes and you can barely get in the door to place your order but there's not much they can do about that. 5 star cafe for sure! read more

this is a cute little hippie cafe that sells coffee, tea, snacks, and some hot sandwiches. it's quite colorful. they have a variety of flavored lattes, which i enjoy, although the ones i wanted weren't available that day. and the plain old coffee they had tasted terrible, like ashtray! but i guess some people might like that! but our bagel sandwich was not bad. it's a nice place to stop if you're hanging around media's main strip in the mornings. read more

I don't know about any of the food, but it's the only place in Delco I know of to get La Colombe, so it gets my vote.

One of the best spots in media no matter the time of year. All the worker there are polite and make an effort to remember what you get.
