Taylor at Rowdy Cowboy is exactly what great service is supposed to look like. She's sharp,…read morequick-witted, and actually pays attention to what's going on around her--something that clearly isn't consistent across the rest of the floor. While other servers seemed more focused on socializing with regulars than doing their jobs, Taylor stood out immediately. She stayed engaged, checked in at the right times, and made sure everything was handled without needing to be asked twice. That's not luck--that's professionalism. She brings a mix of intelligence and humor that makes the experience better without being forced or over the top. More importantly, she executes. Orders are right, timing is right, and the overall experience feels intentional--not neglected. If you're going to Rowdy Cowboy, don't leave it to chance. Ask for Taylor by name. She's an asset to that place, and based on what I saw, she's setting a standard others there aren't meeting

It's…read moreactually a very fun experience, as long as you don't bring your significant other or care about food. My Overall Rating - 3 1/2 Stars (5 Stars if you only care about service) Atmosphere - It's pretty electric. There is a large bar in the middle, tons of bar seating, and during my Thursday visit for lunch, it was packed. The vibes are good, and tons of TVs are showing sports. If you have an XY chromosome, this is your place. 1 Star. Service - Rowdy Cowboy is known for having great servers who are very friendly (and nice to look at). All tables were taken, so I sat at the bar. The bartenders were fast, efficient, and very friendly. They got my order wrong, but I don't care. Their friendliness made me not care. 1 Star. Food - Look, if you're here, you're not here for the food. I started with the Steak Frites. The steak was super tender but lacked seasoning. The shoestring fries were awesome and made the perfect pairing to the steak. I ordered the Brisket Sliders but ended up with Wagyu Sliders. I didn't mind because our bartenders were so friendly, but the sliders were just ok. Remember, this place is not known for the food. 1/2 Star. Will I Return? - Yes. Rowdy Cowboy knows exactly what it does well, and believe me it does it well. In fact, out of all the restaurants in this genre, Rowdy Cowboy has the friendliest staff. Yes, I will be back. 1 Star.

She led me back to the table with my friends and created some small talk on the way, so that was a nice change of pace, considering many people just point you on your way. We were seated near the back which seemed to be somewhat like an open kitchen feel, which I actually thought was pretty cool. Our waitress was very fast and helpful with picking out our foods based on our likes. Once the food came out, everyone seemed to really enjoy their meals, including myself. We started the table off with the biscuits and fried green tomatoes (demolished!). I kept it simple with the chicken and waffles (delicioius and crispy), which was a HUGE helping (yum!). Others at my table enjoyed the the shrimp and grits and WB chicken sandwich. No complaints heard from them! Overall, I really enjoyed the ambiance, the food, the service, and the experience I had for my first time there. Would come back again for dinner to see if there is a difference.

Butter and honey made it a good appetizer * The chicken tenders were crisp and juicy and I love to dip mine in gravy versus a sauce so this was perfect. * Thought the greens were flavorful and a nice side. *Chicken and waffle was a nice plate- same chicken tenders as above. *Nice cocktail list- as they have a full bar. What could have been better. *Booth seating for 6 was a little crowded but not a big issue. * Was a little pricey but considering the area and it was good, not a big deal.

He was super helpful and even let us try different dressings for our salads. There was this super anal retentive Mario that was a server also....his section was geometrically perfect, totally fung Shuy'd out and precise to the millimeter. You could look down the rows of tables and they all were in a row and perfect. Because why not, I moved a tent out of line. For payback, I asked for a short beer and got this. Love it and touche.

It is dog approved, and they even have options for your best friend. It is mostly your typical american food options, and then they throw in like a Thai noodle bowl, or Korean fried chicken bao buns. I think they try too much. Also, we have legit Korean and Thai restaurants in the metroplex, I wonder who is coming here for their pad thai? Someone must be. I do think they do some things really well. They change their menu seasonally, and I have had some really good and interesting salads. They have a decent happy hour and the service is friendly. I think the kitchen can be inconsistent. Sometimes really good, sometimes mediocre. But again I think that is just them doing too much. A jack of all trades is a master of none.

This is the third Bo's I tried and I'm finding one thing they all have in common is extremely long…read morewait times. At least at this location I received my meal in just over a 1/2 hour. All three of different Bo's restaurants I tried, I found orderes were being held up waiting on chicken from the cook line. Maybe during busy times cooks should be dropping chicken constantly until the rush in over in order to fill orders in a timely manner. You still would be serving fresh hot and crispy chicken due to demand. Imagine how many more customers you could push through the system if you had chicken ready to fill orders. This location did have the best biscuits compared to the other two. The biscuits here were fresh and hot, like they just made them. At the other locations biscuts tasted like they sat under a heat lamp for hours and were very dried out and over cooked. Sweet tea was better at this location as well. It was the right sweetness and a litte stronger. Other two locations the tea was almost clear and barley sweet. This location is the best of the three I tried. I learned to go inside the restaurant to place a order because gas now days is too expensive to idle over 30 minutes in a drive thur. I do like the crispy crunch and hint of heat of the chicken. I'm not a fan of the sides but I haven't tried the mac & cheese yet, rumored to be good. Sweet tea was better here by far, but nothing special about it. HTO and QT have good sweet tea too.
