My daughter and I love this place! It has a nice vibe, and it's very comfortable to eat there. The BLT is to die for! My one complaint is that it is on the pricey side. Two sandwiches and two drinks comes to around $30, which is a bit steep. However, the food is fresh and delicious. read more

Cafe 641 was a dream come true. I had been waltzing around Husband for two hours looking for some grub when at 4:46 i came across this cafe. Outstanding service- shoutout to the little lad up front. Excellent butter crunch muffin, reasonable prices, great sausage. I felt a spiritual connection to the employees and the music choices were chhoooiiice. Toast had the perfect amount of butter. Just moved to town and already found my little coffee spot! It's cozy and creative and the coffee is quality. There are plenty of small tables, a long community table, and a lounging area with comfy chairs. On my first visit, I had the pumpkin latte and it perfect. Then I took my husband + kiddo for brunch the next day! My husband had the western omelette with hash browns. He was excited because they were the traditional hash browns, apparently most breakfast places only serve home fries these days? IDK, but he seemed pumped haha. I had the "hunger game" dish, which was eggs, sausage, toast and home fries. Everything felt like it was cooked with love. Is that weird to say? Anyways, on a Sunday morning it was poppin' with families who clearly love this place. Plenty of parking in the area! Not a ton of room for a stroller next to the smaller tables, but definitely kid-friendly, with high chairs and crayons provided. read more

I just moved to Hudson. I have to say I kind of love this place! I mostly take a short walk and get food to go. It's about a 8-10 min wait. The food is super fresh and the atmosphere is super rustic cute. The way a coffee sandwich shop should be. I am obsessed with their veggie burger. I live right downtown and love to host friends and family. I always bring friends to cafe 641 because they offer a variety of food that will cater to many dietary preferences. Ordered a soup and salad to be delivered. Food tasted good but the soup was not very warm since it arrived over an hour past the expected delivery time. I only live 1mile away so I was surprised to receive my food 1.5hours after I placed the order. I will not be ordering delivery again so I can avoid being hangry. read more

Poor quality service. We tried on a Sunday at noon and the Manager was rude in refusing to customize the order. Overpriced sandwiches which are available only full size not for 1/2 soup and 1/2 sandwich. The manager extremely Ryde and yelled over the counter that we don't do those 1/2 steal and 1/2 soup. I was happy to see this place under new management. I really want this place to do well, Main St. needs a place like this to round out the restaurant profile. They have good coffee and a decent selection of pastries and omelettes. The ambiance is quite nice, especially on the weekends as they sometimes have live acoustic music. My only gripes are that they seem to run out of stuff often and though there are usually 4 people working on the weekends the service sometimes tends to be slow, even just to grab a coffee and a muffin. Overall, I like the place, I bring my kids in every weekend to get out of the house and get caffeinated. I hope for the day that it's packed every weekend. read more

Coffee is mediocre and expensive. .75¢ for flavoring?? Really! I also got a Caesar chicken wrap and buffalo chicken wrap, chicken is dry and not much in the sandwich about 2 ounces, and both the wraps lacked dressing. Wraps fell apart as they were picked up. Great location and great seating and cafe feel. Prices need to be reduced. Great spot but really expensive. If you want a coffee and sandwich for $15+ this is a go to place. read more

The food here is good but definitely way over priced. I got a simple egg and cheese sandwich and it was over $6. The customer service is good and it's a cute place. I wish that when they run out of soup, they erase it off the board so customers can know what's available and what is not. The prices for their food should definitely be way lower. read more

Such a great place in town and easily the best breakfast place in the area. I come here almost once a week on the weekend for breakfast or lunch. It has great coffee and great food. They have a coffee card and whenever you buy a coffee they mark it and after you buy a certain amount you get a free coffee! The only downside is that it is a little too "hipstery". I've been here twice now. It's a small cafe, but very cozy with cute decor. You can order to go or you order at the counter and they'll bring the meal to your table. Love all the different choices of coffees and lattes. I've only ever had breakfast so I can't speak for the lunch, but I have not been disappointed so far. Have been to your cafe a couple of times, and eagerly awaited it's opening. You've got the ambience right - very welcoming feel and I like the bookshelves with cookbooks and other books that you can pick up and enjoy. The cafe definitely has a hip vibe. On to some things you should be aware of - your service needs improvement. First of all, staff wearing dirty aprons is not appealing. Secondly, it takes a while to read your blackboard menus and figure out what you want to order. Waitstaff staring at you and impatiently waiting for you to make a decision is not welcoming. And they barely say a word about the food, just rotely list off the types of bread, cheese, salad dressings you can order. Your staff is not warm and welcoming. When I asked for silverware last time, I was told I could get it myself on the sideboard. Now, I don't mind bussing my own stuff, but a little customer service wouldn't hurt. He could have brought said utensils as they are wrapped up in a napkin. Also, the place isn't so big that you need to yell out my name when you serve me my food. Have you been to Birchtree Bread in Worcester? They have a nice method of giving you a number when you order your food, which you place on a stand on your table so waitstaff know where to deliver your food. Much more civilized. The first time I visited your establishment, I had a savory crepe which was very good. It was accompanied by an orange wedge. Presentation could be a little more pumped up. Maybe a strawberry to go along with the orange wedge, or a bit of green on the plate? But good food. On my second visit I ordered a chef salad. This was a huge disappointment, as the greens were lovely but made up 80% of the plate. Also, they were gritty. WASH your greens well please. Grit in your mouth is most unpleasant. The cold cuts and cheese that were rolled up on top of the greens did not make it easy to eat them. But by far, the part that was most unpleasant and disappointing was the pre-wrapped packets of salad dressing that went along with the salad. I know you can do better than that - think, homemade. Two packets of salad dressing were not enough to dress that mound of greens, and when I requested a third, a waiter came back and tossed one on the table. No inquiry into whether everything was okay or not. Don't get me wrong, I love your little establishment and am not giving up on it. You just need to tweak it up a bit. I stop here for coffee for me and baked treats for my kids on the weekend sometimes. The coffee is great and the cinnamon rolls are big and tasty. But I cannot stand the counter service. The first time we went, we ordered a bagel and drinks and then waited for 20 minutes while they made several people's dining-in omelettes before they gave us our to-go order. Last weekend, I waited in line behind a customer while she and the counter help chatted away. It appears they were friends. After five minutes, the worker looks at us and says, oh, I should take your order. And she was talking to her buddy! She hadn't even ordered anything! So frustrating. read more

I know the management is new and they are friendlier and more knowledgeable but still sloooooow and the portions are small for the price. Even the crepes have little filling and the sandwiches are small and inconsistent (i tried a cheese sandwich and it has 1.5 slices for $9!). For this type of a place, the coffee is poor too. The decor is cute and comfortable and one of the few place in the area to hang out and read and have a danish. Needs improvement so I hope the owner reads this as it has possibilities. read more

Went to Cafe 641 for an iced coffee on a hot day. The counter help was very slow and did not get my order right. Sadly, the coffee was not the best for what I paid. The cashier had flip flops on, which made me feel uncomfortable since she started making my coffee... Holy shittake mushrooms! Been by this place a million times on my way to Rail Trail, and it always looked dark and small from the street. NOT!
