7/10/26 This location is bigger than the ones in California! After having dinner, we just happened to pass by and my friend noticed this!!! We were not gonna miss the chance when it's 102°F at 8:30 PM. They were closing in 30 minutes so we had to hurry. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We ordered the hello halo halo iced Matcha Bandan latte and two other drinks that I don't remember (one with hibiscus and the other one something about rose?). These were made quickly and we enjoyed the taste on all counts. I like the Star Wars theme and how spacious the shop is. Will definitely likely return if I ever came back to Vegas.
Everything I've tried here has been delicious, but the real star of the show is their ube cheesecake. If you're an ube lover, this place is dangerous for your wallet because they have so many ube desserts that are worth trying. Every time I come, I end up wanting to order more than I planned. The shop itself is clean, cute, and well-kept. My only complaint is that during the summer, it always feels really warm inside. I'm not sure if it's the AC or just the Vegas heat working overtime, but I usually don't stay long because of it. I'd recommend getting your food and drinks to-go if you're visiting on a hot day. That said, the customer service is always great. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and makes the experience enjoyable every time. Between the desserts and the service, I'll definitely keep coming back. But that ube cheesecake? That's the reason I can't stay away.
Whenever I'm in Vegas and craving ube desserts, Cafe 86 is an easy stop. I've had halo-halo all over, and honestly... I've never had a bad one -- and that streak definitely continues here. Lots of tables and open space. We ordered three versions to compare: Upside Down Halo-Halo (customized without the jellies) Upside Down Halo-Halo Traditional Halo-Halo What keeps bringing me back is the Upside Down Halo-Halo. It feels like a modern evolution of the classic Filipino dessert. Instead of being overwhelmed by mix-ins, you really get a stronger ube-forward flavor, which I personally love. The addition of boba gives it a fun texture, and skipping the beans makes it feel lighter and more dessert-focused while still keeping that halo-halo spirit. The traditional halo-halo still hits that nostalgic note -- shaved ice, sweetness, and layered textures -- but Cafe 86's upside-down version is where they really stand out. It's familiar yet updated, almost like halo-halo reimagined for a new generation. If you're an ube fan or trying halo-halo for the first time, this is a great introduction. Classic roots with a modern twist -- and proof that innovation and tradition can absolutely coexist in one cup.
Matiki Bbq is closed so I decided to walk over to grab me a delicious Crinkle Ube Cookie. A definite must try.
Another weekly trip at my favorite Ubey-baby. Cafe 86 is proof that ube is a lifestyle, not a flavor Everything here is perfectly sweet, ridiculously good, and impossible to order "just one." I come for one dessert and leave questioning all my life choices--in the best way. Vegas has many temptations... this is my favorite one. 10/10, no rAAgrets
We came here after exploring red rock canyon because we were craving a cold treat. We ordered 3 of their signature upside down halo halo and 1 of their regular halo halo. The halo halo was very creamy. I liked that they used boba in their halo halo as opposed to red bean in halo halo which I'm not really a fan of. It also came out really quick, which we were very happy about. This cafe has a lot of available seating and has really good air conditioning which I appreciate. There is also a decent amount of parking available so parking isn't an issue here. I definitely recommend checking this spot out if you haven't already. Try it out if you like. :)
The drinks are a really good especially the halo halo. It's a casual atmosphere. The service was quick and they are friendly.
This is a cute cafe. There's a lot of tables to sit and look cozy enough to do some studying and small get-together. The staff was patient and helpful as there were quite the amount of pastries and drinks on the menu to choose from. I like that each pastry was already individually packed. The mais con yelo dessert and the drink (I forgot its name, sorry) was great. The tree leches was a bit too much ube flavor for me, but my husband liked it. The bread pudding was amazing. The mais con yelo bar was not really a favorite, it was pretty bland and dry. Overall, it was good experience and the food and drinks w bought were delicious. Not pictured: ube bread pudding
The cafe is located in a small shopping center and I stumbled upon it right after dinner. I opted for a sweet treat and service was okay. There was no one at the front to talk to or take my order until I finally locked eyes with someone and they came around to the counter. I finally asked about different desserts and ended up choosing the Ube Flan I wish I asked a bit more because I didn't realize it was more of a cupcake with flan on top, which was my fault. Flan was okay; not too sweet, but had a hard texture not really creamy and smooth. The Ube Cake was good, not amazing, and some parts were a bit dry. Together it made more sense. The dessert was about $6 after tip. So a bit pricey too! Overall I wanna come back to try some other desserts next time.
First heard of this cafe on social, passed by the area one day so made a point to come try it out when we'd in the area again. Initially, we were intrigued because of the ube and filipino desserts, which we were happy with the choices. Then we were greeted with the Star Wars + Toyota AE86 decor and decided to hangout in the cafe while enjoying our desserts. We were immediately greeted by the cashier, who was patient as we navigated the menu while trying to keep our daughter's attention. They were also quick to get our order out. Ordered a strawberry calamansi cooler and upside down halo halo milkshake. Calamansi is a citrus fruit, popular in the Philippines, used for cooking and juices. It's similar to lemon and lime. Halo Halo (hah-low hah-low) is a Filipino dessert with ube ice cream, leche flan, beans, jellies and shaved ice. This cafe turns the ube and shaved ice into a milkshake with boba, with the added jellies at the bottom and the additional ice cream and corn flakes on top. We'll definitely be back to try more menu items and desserts!
I got a marketing email and was able to snag one of the Valentine's Day heart specials. It was basically in very cute tin packaging, but essentially their Ube cupcake base with cream cheese frosting. It had the perfect amount of Ube taste and the cream cheese frosting and a perfect combination to it. It was super moist and not dry at all, which is what I like from café 86.
I'm a major Ube enthusiast and any chance I get, imma come for my ube!!! Cute Ube Cafe in Spring Valley and they've got all things Ube! Def add to your Ube bucket list. We got the Upside Down Halo Halo, Ube brownie, Ube Truffle, Ube Butter Bar and Milo Cupcake. Space is pretty neat with life size Star Wars characters cleverly placed around. Friendly service all around.
What a GEM of a coffee shop! The first thing we admired when we walked in was the life-sized models of Darth Vader and Chewbacca which immediately set the tone for our visit: unique and cozy with a tongue in cheek Star Wars vibe. The menu is extensive and includes some really fun coffee drinks with a scoop of ube ice cream right on top! My hubby snagged himself a cookie butter milkshake and I went with my caffeinated go to... iced coffee but with a sea salt float and boba! Holy smokes were both absolutely delicious AND affordable. My hubby is allergic to Oreos (I know.. what an unfortunate life roll amirite?) and they included them in his shake. When kindly asking if he could maybe choose something different from the menu instead, Alicia and Alison both hopped to making him a very literal BEST COOKIE BUTTER SHAKE EVER. He said he may just dream about this place and the shakes. That's HUGE as my hubby is pretty particular about his culinary delights. We will be back Cafe 86!! Thank you again!

I stopped in because a coworker recommend this spot. I'm so glad he did. It was worth the drive. I tried 4 things and they all tasted amazing. The Ube cashew brownie wasn't the normal brownie texture, it's definitely denser. The cashew/ ube flavor doesnt compete with one another, its very balanced. The Ube Bread Pudding, i could eat this dessert daily. It doesn't have the sponge like texture that most bread pudding does. It's more compact and the flavor has the island touch. I didnt get ice cream on top because I was taking it home but they do offer you that option. The Ube cookies are very light, airy and crumble easy. The powdered sugar makes them extra sweet but also extra tasty and pretty. I got the pack of 4 cookies that came with a hibiscus tea. Price point is more appealing and now I have some to share at work. The service was pretty simple... turn n burn style but still very friendly. They were pretty packed for 4pm but it definitely has a lounge, hang out vibe. This place would be amazing for a quick cute date spot, a spot to catch up with friends, a coworker "outing". They have a lot of seating. For these 3 items; 4 pack of cookies with tea, 1 small brownie, and 1 medium bread pudding I did pay $30. So it's not the cheapest spot but we'll worth it. They have the best halo halo in town! I love their upside down halo halo. I got the upside down halo halo with Ube ice cream. It was very good. I just noticed that there was less stuff on the bottom this time. Don't know if they changed it. But anyway it was good and I also got a Ube Bread Pudding. It was good. Very sweet, but still good. I got it with Ube ice cream on the side, but I think I will get vanilla ice cream instead. The atmosphere was real nice as usual. Ube heaven!!!! If you haven't been here, you're kissing out!!! My favorites are the ube butter bar and crinkle cookies... The first time I tried their ube latte today and it's delicious!!! Our server was kind enough to explain to us that she can add extra ube but still have double shots of espresso... you should try it!!!! read more

Came here for some dessert after having dinner right next door. Love how this cafe has regular chairs with tables and couch to relax. A great place if you're looking to study, chill and get some food desserts. Ordered the upside down Halo Halo. Never thought I would love this place and it would taste so good. Makes me want to come back for more and try their other items. read more

Service - 5: The young lady at the front desk was very friendly and recommended her personal favorites. Corn con melo butter cake: 5/5 if you like corn desserts. Good texture. Ube and flan cupcake: 5/5 not too sweet. There's a bakery that makes an entire cake like this where I live, and it's much too sweet there. Ube truffle: VERY sweet, but still 5/5 because I know people like that. My best friend definitely would. Flavor is excellent, especially with the Oreo crumble. Ube poptart: 4/5 pretty dry inside and out. Maybe I just don't love pop tarts. Ube tres leches: I haven't tried this yet, but if the trend continues, I'm sure it's excellent!! Edit: it was delicious! The cashews are blended into the cream which gives it a nice, thick texture! 5/5 Very glad I randomly stopped by in here after going to the gym! Good quality place here. They have a chains in southern california as well. Food: the drink i go twas the ube milk tea with lychee. Good quality drink, nothing out of the ordinary. Yummy. Service: came during dinner time, no wait and plenty of desserts to see and to choose from. Cafe 86 loves their ube desserts variations. Ambiance: today was a may fourth, on a saturday. Free WiFi, cute atmosphere, great natural lighting, couches for photo ops and yummy food and drinks! I got the cookie butter latte which wasn't too sweet (perfect for my preference!) and the Ube pop tarts were to die for! Drinks came out quick and pastries were fresh! Truly an Ube heaven for all Ube lovers! Shocked I hadn't heard of this place before! Will definitely be recommending to all my friends that live in the area! read more
Stopped here after having omakase next door. They are definitely a Filipino kid's dream bakery, all family party favorites are creatively turned to something else. Our favorite was the toron pop tart, so flaky and delicious, wonderful interpretation. They have a lot of seating in the restaurant but they get busy so keep that in mind. Entering the cafe., I walked into UFC welterweight Chris Curtis, he was so humble & friendly. My wife & I ordered the upside down halo halo. This dessert is a must try, super tasty and delicious. The cafe was so cool & fun, with a Star Wars character greeting you at the front entrance. All in all I recommend this to anyone who comes visit this cafe. read more

Ube-by, baby! I died and went to ube heaven. Heard about Cafe 86 from a few friends a while ago, so had to check it out when I was in Vegas. Cafe 86 is located in a shopping strip, so parking is plentiful. The space is big, bright, and open. Tons of seating, and seems like a good place for working. Cafe 86 specializes in ube pastries and drinks. I love ube and could have easily gotten one of everything. Narrowing down my options to four was tough, but decided on an ube butter bar, ube leche flan cupcake, ube truffle, and ube crinkle. I also got an ube latte. Everything was excellent, it's difficult to pick a favorite. Really enjoyed all of them! The latte was great, too. I hope they open one in Phoenix! I'll definitely go back next time I'm in Vegas. read more

no sense of urgency! I asked for light boba and i got regular amount of boba... on top of that it doesn't even taste good. It's hard and has little to no flavor. I ordered the ube milk tea and it taste like cleaning materials, my bf also ordered the coffee mt and he says it taste like water. read more
Nice place with somehow cool decoration. The car that was drawn on the chalkboard was really my favorite thing at the cafe. The service was somehow quick. The servers were nice but not seemed very welcoming.. Coming to the coffee, I really did not like it. All I tasted was water and a burnt taste without the coffee. I specifically asked my coffee to be made with almond milk, not sure actually if it was, I didn't taste it as well and I assume since I had rash after a while so it was not made with almond. My friend had the same opinion about the taste, she also tasted the bitterness of the burnt coffee. Unfortunately, we really thought that it was not good compared to the price. I was excited about trying Café 86. But I'm not sure if I should try again.... maybe I will have a better experience with a drink that has no coffee and hopefully update my review read more

Make way for the greatness of the day. Time to shine on, so stop in and get some play for the day. Halo halo is happy a drink away from one sip, but the spoon makes for the best way of delivery from cup to your mouth truly. Greatness can be dreamed of as you sip that halo and wonder no more how you reached such happiness. I'm still halo halo dreaming as the sips come and eventually will go. The cup empties soon enough then my only struggle is how to achieve a halo halo happy once yet again. As you sit and sip down that tea drink or great concoction in a cup, it's made fresh to order. The smoothness of the products they provide here have kept this cafe definitely not in an 86 way of ways. Who does not love a play on words? Truly something these days one sees is a cafe or tea stand here and over there. How they come and go? It's truly sad that so many businesses have begun only to fail because the market is so saturated and these days or financial benefits out weigh the problems with the extras we have left over at the end of the day. When you decide to spoil yourself make sure it's the best. You will never walk away unhappy from a product here. You can see the promise of your order in their eyes. Whatever you order and enjoy here will be the ultimate best! No matter what. Halo halo to you! Stop in and sip on something that's going to put a smile on your face! 03/09/24 this place never fails when it comes to their upside down halo halo. So good. I ordered their ube bread pudding and it came with a choice of vanilla or one ice cream. We got the vanilla ice cream. Besides the ube cheesecake this was actually my fave now. Yes, slightly pricey dessert but it's good. Service was good and the place remains clean. I tried this place through my friends about 2 years ago because they brought their desserts to class. This is my first time coming to their store. I ordered their Ube Leche Flan Cupcakes and it was so delicious. I wish I ordered their Ube Cheesecake because I remember eating it for the first time and I fell in love with it. They offer different variety of drinks and filipino desserts to choose from. Service was great. There was only one person working in the front and I give her props. This is a great place to study since they have many seats open. I'll definitely be coming back to try their drinks and get my ube cheesecake. read more

OHHHH MY WORD!!! I knew it would be good because of the other reviews and I wish still blown away! The upside down halo halo isn't overly sweet so you can actually enjoy the whole thing. I could have eaten an entire pan of the flan alone. I wasn't sure how I would feel about the cereal but it was perfect. The butter bar was also wonderful. The texture is dense but very smooth. It is so well balanced and not overly sweet. Service was wonderful. The woman taking my order was helpful and kind. read more

For the love of all things ube!! If you're a lover of anything ube, this is the spot. They have a wide variety of baked goods, but I stuck with their ube flavored items * Ube truffle - super moist ube cake rolled up into a delicious ball * Ube butter bar - buttery and dense ube on top of a sweet, buttery crust (BUTTER ON BUTTER) * Ube leche flan cupcakes - rich and creamy leche flan on top of an ube cupcake ***All moist and packed with ube goodness*** Of course I had to get a drink to wash all the sweetness down with more sweetness. A different approach to halo halo that includes boba! You can get an upside down halo halo that already has the Ube ice cream mixed inside. My husband got the cookie butter shake that will give diabetes more diabetes haha. It was soooo sweet but oh so delicious. Drink your calories, right? Yummy but not exactly authentic. We had the upside down halo halo, a concoction full of ube milkshake, vanilla ice cream, boba, assorted jellies, and small pieces of fruit. Delicious but possibly too sweet for some taste. Service was very fast, and dining area was casual and comfortable. The highlight of this place might be the wide variety of ube based baked goods and candies. Maybe we'll order it next visit. read more
This restaurant has the classic halo halo and upside down halo halo. It is an interesting concept. I wanted to try the upside down halo halo. I was expecting the traditional halo halo ingredients in the upside down halo halo. As it turned out, it was really just taro milkshake with some falvored jellies and boba pearls. There was also a scoop of vanilla ice cream and custard. It was tasty but it was not a halo halo. I was missing all the traditional halo halo ingredients. I wonder if the classic halo halo has the proper ingredients. There was a nice seating area with plenty of tables and chairs. read more

It's a bakery and a tea shop. Most close early anyways. If you're looking for late night drinks try Cloud Tea.

The last time I went there they no longer did rewards. I don't think they started it up again.

Any day of the week but they sold out fast so I'd recommend to go early or the time when they open.

They have grilled cheese sandwiches. My husband and I tried it and it was really good, very cheesy. They serve it with a heaping amount of potato chips.

No you will have to ask them. They are very friendly and helpful.
What days and times is the ube flan available?
Any day of the week but its best to arrive in the morning when they open. They get alot of customers that buy in bulk. Do keep in mind with the recent opening and viral posts on social media with the Ube Craze has created a stir among foodie…

Nope, the last I heard they're trying again for opening on Father's Day *fingers crossed* Rest assured I'll smear it all over yelp when they're open...photos of ube everything!! ;)
