Food was delicious, service outstanding and atmosphere good. However, weekend, specifically Sunday July 5th restaurant was closed without any sign on the door why, no mention anywhere what is happening, which is unacceptable this days. Yes it was closed to give staff members extra day off which is great but any good business / especially restaurant should warn customers with unusual closing notice. Even owner or manager must do that which is very simple thing. Other than that everything was good

My gf wanted to try the latest addition to the Westwood area and it did not disappoint! The restaurant is aesthetically pleasing with an open and airy feeling. The tables are perfectly spaced. Now to the food, brunch fare with an exotic twist. As you can see from my pics we couldn't wait to dig into the scrumptious food. The Benito was fabulous, the eggs were perfectly cooked and the focaccia bread was crunchy yet super absorbent of the egg yolk with a nice chew. The chicken pesto panini was light and flavorful, also the pesto sauce is nut-free. The fried plantains are house made and so good. Since it was a soft opening, there were no dessert choices just pastries, we decided to try the Tres Leches French Toast, with extra sauce on the side, OH MY, the highlight of our meal!!! We inhaled it so fast I didn't even get a picture! An absolute must try!!!! The proprietor stopped by our table to check in on us, he was very friendly and accommodating. He graciously brought over a delicious custard danish with guava jam gratis! Mouth watering good, we inhaled it on top of the Tres Leches French Toast. Moreover, he mentioned that they will soon open for dinner next month. We got a tour of the beautiful downstairs where the vault is located which will be the dinner dining area. As all newly opened places, they are working through the kinks, although a bit inexperienced, the servers were friendly and obliging. We are certainly going back soon to this fantastic restaurant! FYI, it's a BYOB, the fresh ok paid perfectly with the Prosecco we brought with us.

Soft opening! The service was extremely slow but hoping it gets better since they just opened. The interior is super cute - high ceilings and open space. The food was yummy! I loved my skillet. The coffee had a raspberry taste I didn't like though. Great addition to the neighborhood. Lots of parking on the street and by the train station.

We were greeted right away by the one employee on staff, who was very attentive and pleasant. He was both the waiter and bartender. We ordered the smash burger as an appetizer since it's something I've never seen on a menu as an appetizer before. The smash burger itself was basically a standard double cheeseburger. The patties had a strange texture and didn't have much of a crust. There were also no pickles or house sauce, as the description said there would be. That being said the hand-cut fries that came with it were freshly fried and delicious. For dinner we got the gnocchi in spicy ragu and the pork chop Milanese. The gnocchi was delicious with the sauce but could have been hotter it unfortunately came out lukewarm. The pork chop Milanese was presented beautifully and had good flavor, but it felt like it was missing something (maybe a little more spice or citrus to complement the Asian slaw on top). Overall the service was great, but food was only good and extremly pricey for the portion sizes. I'm hoping the restaurant succeeds, and I'd like to go back and try some different dishes.

There were some people sitting outside for dinner and maybe three other tables inside full so it was not busy if you wanted to walk in for dinner it is possible but we had reservations. The decor aims for high end dining, they have an elegant bar area with some tables if you prefer to eat on that side. The hostess and servers were very attentive. The menu is very limited. They have a bunch of different special martini drinks, and plenty of wine selections, but the food menu is very limited. They have dinner specials to offer. My husband went with the burger, which was a very thick patty served with a brioche bun, cooked perfectly. The fries were just OK. They looked as if they were frozen fries just put in the oven. I went with the cod special over Seasonal corn. The corn was tasteless. The cod was cooked perfectly although it did lack a little bit of flavor and we shared the iceberg salad for an appetizer, which was good, but nothing special. The prices were reasonable we decided to pass up on the dessert and take a walk down the main Avenue in Westwood and find some ice cream . I believe it was the male owner that did stop by after we finish dinner to check on us. He was very pleasant.

They have both indoor and outdoor seating, making it a great option year-round. The menu is extensive, so there's something for just about everyone. As someone who has to eat gluten-free, I do wish they offered a few more GF options. That said, I really appreciate that they have gluten-free bread and wraps. My go-to order is the grilled chicken pesto wrap on a gluten-free wrap, and during the colder months, I love pairing a meal with one of their soups. I just wish there were more gluten-free side options besides a salad. They also have a nice selection of non-caffeinated iced teas, which is always a bonus when you're looking for something different to drink. Service can be on the slower side, especially during busy lunch or dinner hours, so it's best not to come if you're in a rush. The restaurant has a few TVs that are usually showing sports, giving it a relaxed neighborhood feel, and the bathrooms have consistently been clean whenever I've visited. If you pay with cash, you'll avoid the credit card service fee. One thing to know before you go: parking in downtown Westwood can be a bit of a headache. Pay attention to the parking signs and meters. Although, I would love to see the farmhouse expand their gluten-free menu, it is a reliable local spot with good food, a welcoming atmosphere, and enough variety to keep us coming back.

The French onion dumplings were actually the best thing I had... crispy on the outside, cheesy, and full of flavor. Everything else missed the mark. It's on the pricier side, and it was completely empty when we were there, which made the vibe feel a little flat. While our waitress and clearly more seasoned bar tender was nice, the ambiance felt different. The entire staff was clearly focused on the party in the main dining room.
