The salad portion was skimpy to boot. On the whole, we felt no need to return. Maybe you will have (or have already had) a better experience. But with so many options out there we will look elsewhere.

The gnocchi was delicious with the sauce but could have been hotter it unfortunately came out lukewarm. The pork chop Milanese was presented beautifully and had good flavor, but it felt like it was missing something (maybe a little more spice or citrus to complement the Asian slaw on top). Overall the service was great, but food was only good and extremly pricey for the portion sizes. I'm hoping the restaurant succeeds, and I'd like to go back and try some different dishes.

At the end they cooked off enough food to feed 60 people all over again! We noshed all night and still had plenty of leftovers. I've eaten at the restaurant and it was very good but their handling of this party was over the top! I wouldn't hesitate to call in this squad again for any event that needs great food and hospitality.

There was an amazing server that took the time to take multiple pictures of our group. He even stood on a chair to ensure we got a good shot. I appreciated this extra effort. For ambiance it's a nice place to go on a date or with a small group it kinda gave me NYC vibes as a nice lively atmosphere but it does get noisy and it can be hard to hear. I would have liked to hear the light French background music over the noise because you can hear it well in the restroom. Overall a lovely dining experience in NJ.

The host at the desk didn't even look up for literally three minutes. When he finally did, he was preoccupied a d seemed annoyed with us..he grabbed the menus, brought us to a booth, tossed the menus on the table, and basically walked away. No hello, no Happy Mother's Day, no "your server will be with you shortly." It then took about 20 minutes just to get a cup of coffee and we had to ask to be waited on We placed our food order at the same time, and about 20 minutes later the waitress came back and asked us to confirm what we ordered. Needless to say, everything took forever after that, including getting the check. We were in the diner for about an hour and a half. Everyone understands restaurants can be busy on Mother's Day, but it wasn't busy when we got there, and even when places are busy, no one should be spending an hour and a half in a diner for breakfast. What's disappointing is that this is actually the second time we've been there since the renovation, and unfortunately we had the same experience with the service both times. From now on, we'll gladly take the extra 20-minute ride to the River Edge Diner in River Edge. The service, food, and staff there are excellent, and you actually feel welcome and happy to be there. Food here was OK, but the service and overall experience were disappointing. We will not be going back.

We came here to see a band perform that we love! They were definitely a big get for such a small…read morevenue, and I'm not surprised that the show sold out. Overall - Stone & Rail is SUCH a cool place to see a live show, especially a band that's considered 'big' for this type of venue. It's cozy and intimate, and you have an amazing view of the stage from wherever you post up. They also have multiple bars, so it's not hard to get a drink. Unfortunately there were a few disappointing things about this experience. Tickets were $50 bucks (pretty steep for a small place) and the band was advertised to play from 8-10 and only played from 8-9. Food and drink prices were also extremely steep, like $20+ for an order of flatbread, wings, and really any other app. It's a great spot and even an hours worth of music was fun and worthwhile, but I do just wish prices were a bit more fair.
