Not my usual place for Vietnamese food, but I came to meet up friends for lunch. I ordered a Com Tam Suon Bi Cha (broken rice plate with pork chop, shredded pork, and an egg cake). Was it good? Yes, however, for $19, the plate looked bare -- in comparison to other Vietnamese restaurants in the area. It would even look worth it if they even fluffed up the plate with more veggies. Also, the service was incredibly slow. They were nice folks, but slow. So I highly suggest if you're on a time crunch, go earlier, or go elsewhere. I have been told by my Vietnamese friends that their Bun Bo Hue is the best in the area so I would definitely come back to try that. read more

Man oh man, what a hard review to write here. Obviously I came for the name, what a fun and funny name. My family and our friends who were in town from England. We HAD to go so they could tell everyone at home. We got there and it was so silent in the dining room. Silent like a library.... My friends young children all of a sudden, by comparison to the vacuum of noise, sounded like steam trains blaring through intersections nonstop. We should by the reception counter for about 5 minutes before one of the staff finally welcomed us and told us where to sit. 3 other staff members had seen us and were visibly NOT making eye contact. Now, we are sat and going over the menu. About 6 minutes later, our waiter had come to ask if he could borrow one of our 5 menus for a new customer, explaining they don't have many menus. (Well, sure, no problem, we will share.) **weird though** *The waiter is on something. His mannerisms are weird, maybe he's just high, but he did some weird things with his foot and he sounded stoned. * Ok, he's back to take our order. Honestly he is nice as can be and patient. My family ordered both types of spring rolls, a dry vermicelli noodle, a pork, rice, egg dish and a #44 beef pho. He explained in great detail, a soursop beverage that my son wanted to try. It gets fun here. In a few spots in the restaurant, they advertise buttons/pins and shirts you can buy. How fun and funny to have a in that says "I survived Bich Nga". The signs say to pick which number of button you want and tell the waiter, so I tell him I'd like the number 1. Well. They don't sell them there. He says to order off of their Etsy or their social media. What a big bummer. The name is too funny to not have this for sale right there. My friend was especially bummed to not have one to bring home to England. Oh well I guess... they're missing out on this awesome way to make some extra money. Next he took my friends family's order, a pork and egg dish, a duck soup and a chicken noodle soup for their young kids. The food came out as it was done so it left our meals a little staggered but that's ok with me. Our spring rolls were super good, the dry vermicelli was good but a bit unexciting, it came with a couple sauces that were fantastic. The pork, egg, rice dish was phenomenal, seriously soooo good. Then he brought out my friends family's food. He came over about 10 minutes later to check on us and I told him we were still missing our pho. He was shocked. Went away for another 10 minutes and came back and checked on us. We were pretty much done by now. I told him we never got our pho but to go ahead and take it off the check. He was shocked and said "no, no" he came back with the duck soup that our friend had ordered and told us that they accidentally gave our soup to our friend and here is his soup.....(?) I don't want duck soup. My friend was cracking up as her husband had been commenting the whole meal about how he did not like his soup(my pho). He was full so handed a gently consumed bowl of beef pho towards our side. We tried it and it really needed our personal touch but as we were full now, I don't feel I can honestly review the pho. It was bland as it sat. So, duck soup, we had to try it as we were paying for it. It was good. Very oily as duck is, but tasty. The duck itself was not my favorite but the broth was very flavorful. Ok, another 20 minutes has gone by and we don't have a check. The library patrons are growing more and more annoyed with the freight train of children who are bored off their butts now. My friend and I take the kids out of there to freely make noise in the parking lot. On our way out, we walk past the "cashier" who again, AVOIDS EYE CONTACT. ???? We were so excited to be out of there. The whole vibe is off. The food is great. If you're looking for a perplexing experience that comes free with good food, I recommend you try this place. Went to check it out because the name of it caught my attention. I ordered the bun bue wey and my brother ordered the pho. The broth on both soups were very rich and savory. Usually I would jazz up my broth with some extra things but this time I just ate it the way it was brought to me. We visited Bích Nga and they were clearly short staffed, so food and drinks took a while to come out. That part was a bit frustrating, especially since everything didn't arrive at the same time. That said, the house special vermicelli noodle dish was absolutely fabulous. The portion was huge and easily shareable, which ended up working out in our favor since we shared it while waiting for my partner's meal. I'm honestly glad it was that big because it held us over. Bih Nga in Pinellas Park is so good. One of my go-to pho spots when I want something comforting and flavorful. The broth is really rich and you can tell it's been cooked properly, and the portions are solid. I usually just stick with pho and it always hits. I've heard about this place a couple times in the past month or so. And my family I wanted to try it out. Upon walking in it was not the best smelling place and following up from there the service was very slow too. It took us about 20 minutes just to get water. And from there, maybe an extra 20 minutes before we could place our food order. And it was only one lady working so I can understand how that can be. I've seen people walk in and walk out when it took too long for them to get served. The food was OK. It was nothing to rave about, but at least when we were able to speak to the waitress, she was friendly and nice. This is authenticity at it's best. Saw a video from a foody on IG. The craze was about the pronunciation of the name of the establishment. I could care less I came for the food! Hubby and I saw the IG post and impromptuly visited for a late lunch yesterday. We came in and was greeted by Chad and seated ourselves. Not many people there but our food and everyone else waiting took a bit to arrive. However, that was water under the bridge once I tasted it. I had the shrimp spring rolls and hubby had the pork. Freshly handmade and the FRESH mint and lemongrass made it so tasteful with the peanut sauce on the side. My husband had one of the meat pho. The size of bowl is intimidating the portion was graciously bountiful and not even the large size. I had the vermicelli with grilled chicken more fresh mint like a cucumber salad with this interesting light sweet and spicy sauce. Hubby had their homemade lemonade which was syrupy sweet. My husband didn't like it as he also said it tasted like salt. It was extra sweet and probably could make 5 decent lemonades. I want more of everything on that menu so obviously we will be back. If you are in a rush or do not care to wait for fresh AND good food this is not the place for your. If I had to say anything bad the stained ceiling tiles and one missing was a turn off. We placed a to go order of Pho around early June 2026. When we brought it home and opened it, there was a dead fly right on top of the noodles. When we called, they just said sorry and replaced it. I didn't notice until I went back to exchange the noodles that there was quite a bit of flies around the register and the kitchen areas. Mind you, this was after they were shut down from March 23 2026 to March 30th 2026. Will never go back there again. Check the restaurant inspections for yourself on how many violations they have. Possibly the richest pho I've tried so far in Florida! Pho comes with brisket, flank, tripe and meatballs. Pho also has cilantro and onion in it. The broth is super rich in flavor. I can definitely taste all the spices in the broth. They fill it to the brim. I asked for some lime and extra cilantro for my pho. As for noodles they use thin chopped up rice noodles. The bowl is also a decent size and for $2 more they have a larger bowl! Wifey got the beef stew. Also filled to the brim. Meat is super tender. Broth tastes delicious, very flavorful with beef. The restaurant itself is a little run down in the inside. Old colors, lighting and furniture. Guy working in the front was kind and helpful. Been wanting to try this place out, and we finally did. Not gonna lie, this place a has a lot of potential. W got here around 7:30ish PM and didn't get our food till 8:20pm. So we were expecting fresh good food if it takes that long. As we were waiting i looked around the restaurant and it definitely needs a lot of work. Those curtains gotta go. The restaurant needs better and inviting color so it doesn't feel suffocating inside. Roof needs to be checked and there seems to be a leakage. The food is really good! It's a go to for Vietnamese food everytime we have a craving. As I grew up on Vietnamese food, I would say this is pretty authentic and the best you'll find in the area.
