This place is the best place have such authentic marinara sauce because I was able to see the herbs and the tomatoes so individually but together and it tasted so bomb with the garlic bread. The garlic bread was garlicky and had a soft inside while the outside crust was like a crunch which was so good, I want a whole loaf of it. The menu is pretty extensive and had a lot of great toppings and appetizers. The pizza came out hot and was super delicious, a small is the perfect size to share with someone especially if they don't have much of a appetite. There are sizes to choose from which is great especially if I were to get my own. I would definitely recommend the garlic bread and the service was great, the guy behind the counter asked if we were eating inside pr outside and we said outside and he gave us plates and took the food outside for us which was really sweet of him. :) read more

Bambinos... This establishment is a fine example of the quote "the customer is always right". However I hate that saying because sometimes the customer ISNT always right. The business owner/manager reached out to me after I had wrote a review regarding the pizza I had. It was too greasy and it was super floppy. Henry reached out to me 24 hours after I had posted my review and wanted to let me know how sorry he was about my experience. He also rectified the experienced I had by offering me a free large pizza of my choice. Not only did he genuinely cared about my opinion and feedback but he cared about the "customer". I received the pizza today the same toppings I had ordered the first time. Pepperoni sausage and mushrooms. Also ordered some wings because theyre so good. My pizza was absolutely wonderful and definitely made up for the recent bad experience. There was a definite small amount of perfect grease and definitely no flop. The pizza crust was outstanding it was fine line to chewy and a bit crispy where as the base of the pizza was chewy and soft and light. I have to say that this business has won me over in a genuine way. They are a fine example of care as in "they really really care about their customers" and "they really really care about their products". Henry thank you so much for reaching out to a fellow pizza lover and thank you for being very kind and genuine on a simple yelp review. I did not expect a response nor a free pizza but Henry seemed to really care about my experience. I've only had the pizza, once with sausage, once with sausage and black olives, and once with sausage and meatballs. It's some very good pizza. What I really like here is they use the round slices of sausage for the pizza instead of ground sausage or cubes. In NYC, the sausage is almost always slices and it just tastes better. Much better. First time ordering they took less than an hour which was fast and they even provided paper plates and napkins, such thoughtful service :) Not to mention our delivery guy, much older dude, was very kind and humble. I really do appreciate the kind service and I will definitely order again. The receptionist, however, didn't have a welcoming tone (he sounded like he wanted off himself or maybe he was having a bad day), but he was patient with us scrambling for more info to our new address....so it was cool and thats really the only thing they might have to work on a bit more. My friend lives nearby and we wanted some hot wings so we decided to try Cafe Bambino's. We ordered 18 hot wings and a Spinach Calzone. The app I ordered through was malfunctioning so the order wasn't ready when it said it would be. The employées came out to apologize which was nice. I was not in a hurry so it was fine. The wings were delicious. But the calzone was not what I'm used to growing up in New York City. The calzone I grew up in was a crispy pocket filled with ricotta cheese and mozzarella cheese and whatever else you'd like, typically pepperoni or spinach. Bambino's was basically a thick focaccia bread with thin layers of ricotta cheese and snippets of spinach. I will try their pizza and order their wings again but not the calzone. read more

Update 6/21/2018: The manager Henry saw my review on Yelp, he called and left me a PM , he was very apologetic and explained to me the trouble they were having that day. He was very nice and assured me the problem was a one time occurrence and wanted to keep our business. Today he redid our entire order for free and had it delivered to our department! This was a stunning gesture in a climate where customer service has not been a priority. I am appreciative of his desire to make things right which he absolutely did! Thanks Bambino's for regaining our trust and business ! Previous Review: Ordered a large order online through yelp for a meeting with ease and I received the email confirmation before they opened. Once they opened I decided to call to make sure it went through and they were processing it . Sure enough I was told they didn't have the order and to call YELP to find out why! Like I was the one who made the mistake ! Needless to say yelp called them and straightened it out , once I called back no one apologized or explained what happened just told me they would get the order done quick . When we arrived to pick up the order there were two employees but one was sitting down watching the other scramble preparing the food. Still no one apologized for the problem . Once the food was complete they gave us our order a full hour after we worked the problem out with yelp. To add insult to injury I ordered two family meals and 2 extra pizzas and got 4 plates and no cups for the soda. The food was just ok , prices are great but service was shameful. They also treat their customers with utmost respect, and if there is a mistake, they make sure to fix it or to give you a great deal on your next order. When we lived in their delivery area we ordered very often from them. They actually ended up knowing us as a valued customer and would make me feel very welcome if ever I had to call with a change to our order or something like that. This company forces you to pay a "Support Local Fee" of $0.95. Although a $1 is not the end of the world, it is the principal of it. If this company wants to support anything, they should do it themselves not force their patrons to do so. I will never order from this company or any other that tries to add these type of fees. We like that they use roma tomatoes that always taste fresh. They don't go skimpy on the basil too, which I like. And the dough is just the right texture for me - soft, doughy on the inside but lightly crispy on the outside. We really love the wings here. First off, thank goodness for a small parking lot! In Pasadena, it's a big deal! The ordering was super easy, the giant menu is right on the front wall when you walk in. I wish they had paper take-out menus though because that would be great to keep at home or to just browse while others check out the wall menu. There is virtually no sitting space. A couple of make-shift "bar seats" at the "pizza ordering bar". The guy up front who took care of taking my take-out order was really nice and I appreciated his patience and help. The guy in the back seemed like just a back-of-house/cook so he never smiled once. Oh well, it would have been nice to just be polite to customers though. The pizza (and wedge fries) came out piping hot straight out of the oven and frier. I brought them home and they were still good but have to admit that they didn't hold up as well and felt slightly dry. Next time, I will need to order with extra sauce or cheese. But it was totally fine for eating the same day. The fries however, did not hold up well. I should have known... it was covered in a plastic cover and it ended up steaming up on the car ride home and was super soggy. The flavor was intense and delicious though, and so I would recommend them for eating right then and there, or on one of the small outdoor seats they have. I'd recommend this pizza spot for locals and visitors alike. I'd go back again but wouldn't order anything that can potentially get soggy in a car ride home, and for the pizzas, I would ask for extra sauce or cheese (but this will cost more...). read more

I've been ordering from Cafe Bambino's for around 5 years and they have always held up their great quality food and service. My favorite item to order is their Bbq Chicken Pizza, it is so delicious! They never skimp out on the ingredients and the taste never stops putting a smile on my face. It's been some time since I've utilized their delivery services because I moved out of the delivery area but, they had always brought it very quickly and the pizza was always warm upon arrival. Henry, the store manager, knows how to keep their customers happy and does his best to deliver great customer service.
