It's one of my friend's favorite places too. Parking can be free if you're down to hunt for it, walk a bit, and mind the signs, but if anything there's always metered parking or the parking structures, many such Pasadena cases, but makes sense for the downtown area. My friends and I came here on a later Friday evening and there was no wait to walk up to the counter and order. Lots of historic pictures of celebrities who have dined there. Fun fact, NONE of the framed pictures and artwork (especially the largest one) are centered. If you're not too sure what to order, they have a lot of their pizza behind the glass for you to get an idea of what you're going to be feasting on. Most items come out quickly and decently hot, but for freshly made/assembled items like the garlic bread I ordered, it may take 10-15 minutes, but it comes out super hot and it's super worth it. Water is self serve and they also have condiments like Parmesan cheese, crushed red peppers, garlic powder, and other various spices. For my order, we got the: 1) Spicy Spring: -Rectangular cut pizza with Diavolo (one of the funniest Jojo villains to be honest) sauce, small cup pepperonis, fresh mozzarella, and Pecorino Romano. -I love pepperonis and they did not skimp out on how many goes on a slice. Crispy edges and salty perfection. Not super spicy, but has enough of a kick to make each bite addicting. 2) Sicilian Style Garlic Bread: -If you told me this was a sauceless cheese pizza I would have wholeheartedly believed you. Comes in a rectangle cut into 6 pieces. Super shareable and comes with your choice of sauce and I got the vodka sauce. -The worker in the cool goggle glasses recommended putting the crushed red peppers with the vodka sauce, and he was COOKING. Delicious and super garlicky and cheesy on it's own but the additional add-ons added a much needed extra kick to keep things lively. Word of warning, it is SUPER oily, but that's partially what makes a pizza so indulgently deliciously. Solid favorite of Pasadena and for pizza enjoyers.

Drinks and food came out on time indicating bar staff and kitchen staff were on point. Waiting staff could up their game. No check up or check in. No offers for drink refills or another round. I had to ask for refills on water. Final bill $56.35 for one drink, appetizer and pizza for a solo dinner. Three (3) stars at best! Room for improvements.

The person who helped me was pretty no nonsense and efficient, I guess this is what it feels like if you are actually in Brooklyn? lol There are a variety of lunch specials daily from 11 am - 4 pm, and happy hour with $3 draft beers from 3 pm - 7 pm. PIzza options look really good, whole round pies are 18", 8 slices, and are all about $30. Square pizzas are also about $30 for 8 slices. I ordered the Cajun Bridge sandwich (cold) because I like all things spicy, and I love squaw bread, so this one was calling my name. So glad I did because it was so good and hit the spot! There are two entrances into the restaurant. The counter to order, as well as restrooms, requires you to go down a level, but the left entrance has a lift if you need in order to go down.

This last $100 purchase was pure cardboard- the dough is tough and over cooked- their cheese is almost non-existent, and the sauces are dry- just a lot of disappointment that I don't really understand. It's not that difficult to make a good product. They have several locations but I've only tried this one as I'm a local but I'd never venture to any other when this one has been so underwhelming. The wings were just as I ordered. I enjoyed that they have not been overcooked. The wings were tender and moist. The ranch dressing dipping sauce was a great choice.
