The Red Chile Mocha is so amazing I can't get past it to order another type of coffee here. It's just what I love at this quiet and clean local coffee joint :) Also the Street Tacos they have on Tuesdays are pretty darn tasty and I am meat picky! The garnish on them is perfect. read more

Oh HOLY COW! Wow, did not expect this. In a hurry and ordered a latte and the first thing on the breakfast menu board because it said "bacon". Best breakfast sandwich I have ever eaten. The green chile cheddar bun was fresh and the eggs cheese and greens were perfect in it. The flavors were phenomenal. Latte was great; not too sweet. Maybe could have been a little hotter. It's a quaint local coffee shop with revolving sweet treats (chocolate, empanada, bear claws etc.) there is also incredible breakfast and brunch items as well as a myriad of daily special items : they are delicious foods ranging from waffles to street tacos. This is a hidden gem in Rio Rancho. I've been coming here for 5 years, and am so happy it has a loyal following. They are one of the only local coffee shops on the west side, and their products are amazing. The food and drink menu is very thoughtful and fun. I frequent coffee shops often for work, almost daily, and I've been on the hunt for a place to camp out on the Westside. I hit up Cafe Bella on a Tuesday morning with a co-worker. I had the coconut latte and breakfast bagel, my co-worker had the honey cinnamon latte and spicy bagel. The coffee was delicious! The sandwiches were good, but just as some other reviews stated, they are pricey ($6.75). I figured I owed them since I sucked up all the free wi-fi I could for over 4 hours. The service and atmosphere was good, but the music was really loud. I think I'd come here more often if I didn't have so many conference calls. read more

Michael (the owner) is a coffee scientist and if you haven't met one before, don't expect to recieve just a cup of coffee. Instead prepare yourself for a cup of coffee that has been meticulously researched in order to create the perfect flavors that will induce you into a caffeine nirvana. So basically Michael knows everything about coffee and can pretty much do anything you would like with it, and probably 1,000 other things you didn't know coffee could do. Cafe Bella is probably the best coffee shop in town and there are very few people that can even get to Michael's level. I stopped by on a Saturday afternoon because I was at RR high school for an event and was starving. While this cafe is a little ways from there, I'm really glad I found it on Yelp! They have a limited food menu, but all good go-to items like bagel breakfast sandwiches, paninis, and a different salad every day of the week. I opted for the salad, which was on a bed of fresh spinach with almonds, cranberries, and a sizable portion of chicken. I gobbled it up too fast to even take a photo! The owner and the staff were super friendly and the space is actually pretty large. High ceilings and a refurbished garage feel with lots of cycling gear and bikes on the walls. Free wifi and lots of outlets. Based on their flyers they host a variety of community events throughout the week too, like poetry slams and Street Taco Tuesdays. There was nothing good about this place. I love organic coffee so I thought I would try it. Coffee was good. Want a refill? Guess what you have to pay for it. There is NO other spot in the area that charges for a refill for organic coffee. When I spoke to the owner he gave me some line about his organic coffee being different than other organic coffee. Guess he thought i was stupid. I know my coffee. I had a pastry- cold and stale. Switched to a breakfast sandwich- cold. The counter server and the owner were not gracious about my dissatisfaction. So much for this place. Don't waste your time or money. There are many options for excellent organic coffee in the area. read more
