Usually love this place. My wife and I eat hear at least once a month. Today, we had a reservation for Mother's Day. It took us over an hour to get our food. Our waitress did not seem to be concerned or offer any apologies or anything. When we asked if our food was coming soon, the waitress replied, "uh hmm." The Stroganoff de Frango with chicken and hearts of palm in a creamy sauce was to die for. The Feijoada was incredible and the portion sizes ample. Gluten free cheese bread was light and flavorful. First timers get to try it for free- ! Located in a sweet little neighborhood (Hillcrest) with a few shops and galleries to stroll around afterwards. We were lucky to attend an art opening down the street which was fun and unexpected. read more

I ate at Cafe Bossa Nova the other night and loved it. My shrimp over rice with steamed vegetables was excellent and the portion was perfect---not too big, not too small. I'd started with a cucumber/avocado salad that was also fantastic. And finished it all off with their Tres Leches cake. We ate here once and are not sure what all of the excitement is about. The food was good, but even having tried the Saturday special, Brazil's national dish, the flavors at this restaurant in general were good but didn't seem worth going out of your way for. Also, the shredded chicken dish that comes with a mixed greens salad seemed no different than adding peas to a regular chicken salad with mayonnaise. Definitely worth it to go once to see if it's your cup of tea, but don't get your hopes too high! :) read more

One of my favorite places for lunch. The black beans and rice dish is fabulous, but the quiche is sometimes a little dry and salty. The chicken crepe is really good. Their soups are tasty and unique. One of my favorite places to eat in Little Rock (after a year of living here). My only advice is to go there at night - they don't have reasonable lunch menu prices, but their dinner portions and prices are good. A great mix of different Brazilian dishes and cocktails too. read more

One of Little Rock's best. Try theCaipirnha on the Brazilian Cocktails menu and the coffee is wonderful. I love the Mandioca Frita, little potato bites serves with spiced ketchup. Reminds me of a dish I loved in Argentina. My favorite is a toss up between Strogonoff de Frango (16.95) and the Crepes de Frango (15.95). I always have plenty to take home with me and have another meal. read more

So my Husband, our Son, his Wife and I ordered from this place through Chef Shuttle. I was excited about trying some Brazilian food. The food was ok but nothing spectacular. The two appetizers we ordered were the Coxinhas and Cogumelos Recheados. The Coxinhas (2 for $7) were small and pretty bland and couldn't tell their was chicken. The dumpling part tasted potatoey to us but nothing was said about potatoes in descripition. The second appetizers is Portabella Mushroom stuffed with sausage and spinach, was delicious and worth the $7. My Son and I thought it was the best out of everything we tried of each other's. I had salmon wrap($12) and ordered a side of collard greens which they don't say they are uncooked with a side of some dressing for $3. The wrap was average good. My daughter in law got the chicken crepes which were good but for chicken dish like hers was overpriced at $16. My Son got a noodle bowl with beef strips for $13. Was good but bette to get some Pei Wei! My husband ordered a Brisket sandwich($8) and side of fries($4) and he said the fries were good and sandwich was so average tasting it could've been a Subway sandwich. Bottom line average tasting and a little overpriced. Wouldn't go back but would try Brazilian food again. read more
