Ordered to go for a large crowd of 15 people. The Tabouleh had too many tomatoes (cut too big) and not sure what type of bulgur was added but tasted more like Mexican salsa than tabouleh. The potato salad was like mush and had no flavor. The hummus tasted like yogurt. The luleh kabob was dry and blah. The rice and lettuce salad were fine. The chicken kabob was average. Great Middle-Eastern food! Fast, perfectly cooked, and a bargain. My lamb kabob was tender and juicy, with just a little char and great flavor. The yogurt with spinach was great, as was the tabbouleh; and both were incredibly fresh. My guy's chicken was also perfectly cooked and the hummus was among the best I've had in any restaurant in the area. He also had the pasta salad with Middle-Eastern pickles in it and thought it was great. The dining room is cute, but cramped. But the service was quick so you get in and out in no time. I ate lunch here literally every day for two years, until recently, now I can only get there about two or three times a week. It's seriously some of the best food in town. The chicken breast kabobs, lamb kabobs, rice, yogurt with spinach, tabbouleh, and hummus are the items I get the most and they are always perfect every time. I've never ever been disappointed by the food. If you are a vegetarian, the veggie kabob plate is really tasty and filling, you may want to use one of the hot sauces they have there (they have a really good selection of hot sauces!) but totally filling and fresh. When me or my husband calls to place a pick up order, they know us by name, voice, and our usual order... that's how often we eat there! I know a lot of other "regulars" too... they definitely have a large fan base! Only one suggestion, bring falafel to the glenoaks location! I hate having to go to zankou for falafel. read more

Four solid stars. You know why? They pay attention to what I ask and follow directions. You'd be surprised at how few restaurants actually do that. I've had their food twice. Both times I was impressed. The first time I had their chicken (not too salty and very moist, which I wasn't expecting, truth be told) and I asked them to hold the feta on my salad. They did. Almost every other place forgets and it irritates the heck out of me. It irritates me even more when I ask them to make me a fresh new salad and they don't and simply try picking little bits of it off of the original which they fouled up. Second time I went and asked for the beef kabob. I wanted it done as rarely as possible without them killing me and, again, they listened. It was moist and flavorful and JUST WHAT I WAS IN THE MOOD FOR. Incidentally, I also ordered the same salad without feta and they got it right then, too. I've never eaten inside so I can't comment as to service or the bathroom or anything, though that will change soon hopefully. They seem nice so far as I can tell and I'd be surprised if the bathroom was dirty because, from what I saw in general, it looked pretty clean. Definitely going back. They have a ton of delicious & healthy side dishes to balance your meal out: the kidney bean & corn salad is a perfect summer option; their tabouli is wonderfully parsley-heavy...delicious hummus, and several kinds of tasty pickles. And the meats are so good - we've loved the beef, the chicken, and the lule options. Lovely touch of charred flavor, juicy tender meat. It is not perfect *every* single time: we have occasionally had some dry or tough meat, but that is the exception and not the rule. I take back the 3 stars I gave them and they deserve a 1 star for poor management!!! I ate there last night, placed a phone order. Spoke to a woman, told her what I wanted repeated like 3 times what I wanted to order. 1 Beef Sandwich, 1 al la carte Grape Leaves, 1 Chicken Sandwich, 1 side of Rice, 1 Chicken Kabob Plate and Double of the Tabbouleh. Either she was day dreaming or just doesn't understand English or something. She repeated back 1 Chicken Sandwich, bypass what I repeated "1 Beef Sandwich" and placed the order wrong. Told me it will be ready in 15 minutes. Got there after 15 minutes, the food wasn't ready and they weren't even busy. But busy talking and made me the customer wait till the women are done chatting personal stuff. I paid and they told me to wait another 10 minutes because they never even started with preparing the food. I suspect after I placed the phone order for pick up. She never even bothers to follow up or turn it in to the chef. WTF!!! Then as the chef was packing the food, I noticed they place the beef in the box. Immediately, I know is wrong. I looked at my receipt and indeed the order was still placed wrong. WTF!!! The minute I realized the order was wrong, I told them... without any apologize these people started to be even ruder. Whoever answered the called should not be allow taking down phone order if you can't understand or place the correct order the customer asked for on the phone is not like I am ordering something out of the ordinary or get familiar of your menus before jumping on the phone. I had to wait another 10 for them to re-make the beef sandwich cause the woman fu*ked up. I tried to reason with them, told them not sure was it you or the other lady that placed the items, but you got it wrong. It happen everytime. The woman was so rude that instead of apologizing she say to me "Why do you come back to us?" - I asked: Is that how you treat customer? I asked for her name, she refused. I asked "Are you the manager?" She walked away and says "No." Then some guy butted in and says you can talk to me "I'm Andrew." Even he wasn't friendly at all. None of them bother to apologize. WTF!! Poor Management runs by rude ass young adults!! Maybe is part of their culture who knows... not to be racist or anything but I see it happen a lot with the Armenian. Honestly, the only reason I go there is because the food is alright, but certainly is not worth the hassle when there staffs are bad with customer service. My favorite place for Kebabs and Chicken Shawarma. There is usually a wait but it is well worth it. Everything is fresh and delicious. The chicken is never dry like other places up the street.
