[[HIGHLIGHT]]The cafe is a cute little place, definitely doesn't have the capacity for a big crowd.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food was delicious even though the sweet crepe portion was a little small. However, the service was not the best. I must say, it was 10 am on a Sunday just about the breakfast rush hour. We ordered a sweet and savory crepe, a cappuccino, and a parfait. They told us it's about a 20-25 minute because the kitchen is busy but it eventually became a 45-55 min wait. When I got my bag they forgot the parfait.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Such a cute little place and love the variety of the crepes![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I had the Apple Tree and it was so good, Apple, honey, goat cheese and prosciutto! It was so good. I am so glad we tried and would definitely go back.

This little spot is like something out of a movie. The food is delicious and made with love, [[HIGHLIGHT]]the decor is beautiful[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] and the friendly people who work there are so kind! The icing on the cake are the local artists who have their beautiful pieces for sale in this picture perfect gem! Stop by for a coffee, a delicious locally sourced smoked salmon crepe or fabulous chocolate croissant!!

This little French bistro was a delightful find. We were looking for crepes and we found them here. Not all their choices were sweet which was a very nice change. Coffee and Chai, also not too sweet, were delicious with their selection of pastries. The service was young, pretty, friendly and helpful. Food came out quicker than expected. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Just enough time to enjoy the coffee, atmosphere and books of poetry in the window sill.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

A super lovely coffee and crepe spot! I love the calm interior. Not much seatings so be sure to come early. Their crepe selection was incredible. I went with the Fumé which was a smoked salmon and cream cheese crepe. Every crepe is made to order so there was a bit of a wait but it's worth it! My crepe was full of tasty smoked salmon and delectable cream cheese. Some of the better crepes I've had in awhile.

This is about half of the baked egg dish, could not help myself, should have taken the picture first

I almost hate to say this, as they are already busy as all get out, which causes delay time. But trust me when I say, they are worth every darn minute that you spend waiting to enjoy what they make. I treated myself to their baked eggs? Something I had no Idea existed, I have since looked up some recipes, and will be doing this at home ....My wife had the Sausage with Fennel Crepe, and it was very good also. Some folks were in a hurry and did not have the time to wait for service. Frankly if you have the time to try this, do it!

Adorable little cafe with scrumptious food! The hubs, daughter and I split a savory and two different sweet crepes--all were out of this world! The fresh fruit was incredible, and the coffee hot. Staff were living examples of Oregon-Coast friendliness, and the space is just the cutest! Wonderful little spot.

A comfy space, tasty bites, beautifully crafted baked goods, and a coffee bar with fun seasonal drinks. I ordered the breakfast purr-ito. I could have picked any other item on their menu and been perfectly happy, because it truly seems like The Red Roof does everything well. This dish came packed with turkey sausage, egg, potatoes, avocado and hashbrowns. Filling, hardy, and delicious. To make the experience even better, I ordered a number of baked goodies and a latte to go. These pastry items funded my happiness all afternoon. From lemon bars to blueberry scones, my excitement continued as I got to sample additional items from their delicious menu. I couldn't imagine passing Lincoln City, Oregon without returning to this local gem.

Appearance - I'm solely basing this review off of the fact that I ate the food to-go. My husband picked it up for us while I was getting ready in the morning. Taste - I got the chai tea and my husband ordered the salted carmel breve. My drink was made from a chai concentrate, so it was nothing special. The drinks are made with Stumptown coffee. It was a tasty drink, on a cool morning by the ocean. We also had the Asiago bagel with the smoked salmon cream cheese. It was okay, I'm not sure I would get it again. The mini donuts were a fun sweet treat at the end! It felt like eating a crispy funnel cake! Our favorite was the cinnamon.

Then as I received my drink he asked me to check it, right as I looked at the drink- I saw an ant . I asked him to remake the drink. He quickly started looking for the ant, then scooped out the ant. To my surprise, he then grabbed a strainer and poured the SAME drink into a new cup. I told him that I didn't want that drink and would like my money back, he seemed shocked that I saw what he did and then proceeded to tell us "no, that's not how we do things here" he also told us to "f**k off". He suggested we have a sampling taste of the soups of the day before ordering. We settled on two different cups of soup. Then ordered our entrees. One was a basic hamburger plain with just bacon. Upon returning this year, I looked forward to another great meal there. I was surprised to find that Side Bar Cafe has changed quite a bit from what I remembered. In the past the restaurant used only the southern part of the building it's in, with maybe 16 tables, which created a warm and quiet atmosphere suitable for a date night. I was surprised to find that they have expanded to include many more tables and a second bar in the adjoining space, which was formerly rarely used, seemingly only for random entertainment events. This created a busier and noisier environment, which I didn't enjoy as much. The list of food and beverages on the menu is much greater than in that distant past. From what I could tell from one visit the food is just as good as it was, but the place felt more crowded and the service was more rushed due to the volume of guests, and the noise level was definitely higher. I will go again on my next visit to the area, but my fond expectations will have changed.
