I've had food from here twice. Both times as carry out. The second time, I ordered online which was a really cool and very easy experience. I've been pleased with everything I had both times. I much prefer their sweet and sour pork to any other Chinese place in Parker. I'm also a fan of the fried rice and lo mein. They have a pretty extensive menu and I look forward to trying out more things on it. I had been a bit underwhelmed by the Chinese food in Colorado as compared to what I'd become used to on the east coast but Cafe China gives me new hope. The staff are very friendly as well. If I could give them no stars I would. Used to be a pretty good Chinese restaurant but I wont eat there ever again.... Ever! First I noticed the orders were missing vegetables, sauces, etc. I decided after multiple tries to right the wrongs, I would boycott them for a while. After a year I ordered a dinner. They sent me the wrong order. I called and the woman told me it was absolutely correct. Even argued the point. The next dinner I ordered came fast and it was hot. Looking at the dish all the peppers were rotten! Every single pepper! Yuk! I called and they took no responsibility at all and made no attempt to right the wrong. Not even an apology. Who would send out rotten food? I am done with them!!! Save yourself some time, money, frustration and food poisoning! I now dine at Cherry Village on Lincoln. I had not been here for a couple years, but I remembered liking the food ( I think it was my favorite Chinese in Parker about a decade ago), so I dropped by for some takeout this week. I had the Mongolian beef, but was not that impressed. Yes, it was tender, and quality of the beef was good. Also, the onions with it were cooked correctly and had some flavor. It was also a decent-sized portion for $8 to $9. However, the sauce was very one-note, that note being "slightly sweet". There was no heat, no zing, and no complexity. Also, the onions were the only visible vegetable to be seen (it could have used something to break up the monotony). The cashier lady was friendly, and my order was ready quickly. But, the Mongolian beef at Cherry village on the other side of Parker is significantly better. You can eat-in here, but only if you manage to get one of the only three tables. This is not that hard to do, as most customers seem to get takeout or delivery. read more

This was my first and last experience at China Cafe. The wonton soup had raw wontons. The dough was chewy and raw... inedible. The thai spring rolls had a disgusting peanut sauce. We're somewhat disappointed with the direction this place is going. It has been our go-to place for Chinese takeout for quite some time. While I understand the Covid has put extra pressure on everyone, the takeout from here seems to have gone downhill. I'm guessing, but have the impression they're cooking a bunch of food ahead of time and just boxing it up and adding the designated sauce when ordered. We used to get the food home and it would be hot enough to eat out of the box. For the last few times we've had to nuke all of the food in the microwave to get it to an edible temperature. This is my favorite Chinese restaurant in all of Colorado!! I don't come here often, but the food is AMAZING. The rice is never undercooked and neither is the rest of the food. The sauce is on fleek and fills you with happiness. The servers are very kind and patient. I have done delivery a few times, and is at my house within 20-30 minutes. Takeout is very quick and easy. First of all, I added a star for the wonderfully nice staff and delivery man. Now the food....had it delivered at around 4:30. Either they ran out of salt or had someone who didn't know how to cook. (I don't use a lot of salt in case you're wondering.) Ever since 1969, I've tested Asian restaurants at which I haven't eaten with 3 things: Wonton soup, Hot & Sour soup and Shrimp & Lobster sauce. From San Francisco and Washington, DC's Chinatowns, to So. California, Texas and Colorado. I always test with these. Wonton soup...lacked flavor and salt in the broth. Wonton noodles are delicate and these noodles were thicker than lasagna noodles. I think they were homemade, but definitely not a wonton. If you can't make it, take it off the menu. We threw it out. Hot & Sour soup...great variety of veggies, tofu, spice and pork. But, again, broth lacked flavor. I even added a whole soy sauce packet. If the broth were more flavorful, it would have been almost perfect. Shrimp & Lobster sauce...I was told it is one of the easiest dishes to make. Usually has egg white, peas or pea pods, sliced sautéed mushrooms, sliced water chestnuts, bamboo shoots, a touch of garlic, a garnish of green onion AND grilled or sautéed shrimp. The mushrooms were raw and, again, the whole dish was lacking in salt. I had to add some garlic, onion and SALT to make it tasty enough to eat. Spring rolls...these were really good. China Cafe has been our go-to for Chinese delivery for a while. The flavor of the food has always been good, but recently getting it delivered is not worth it. Tonight we gave it another shot. Normally it's delivered in about (45) minutes. This time and last, it took over an hour. That would be fine if the food was hot, or even warm. It was warm last time. My main complaints tonight: 1. Delivery time 1hr 25min 2. Food was cold (nothing worse than cold fried food - crab cheese wontons, fried dumplings, general Tso's chicken) 3. Asked for (4) hot mustard packets and only got (2) - I miss fresh hot mustard in the cup 4. No fortune cookies If we decide to get food from here again, we'll order ahead and go pick it up ourselves, or just wait in their little storefront. I LOVE Cafe China, They're a super cute ma' & pop shop that I love to support! Way better than panda express. My favorite would have to be the chicken,pork OR shrimp (preferably the PORK) Low mein which is the soft noodle & I add veggies in the mix. The soysauce they give you in the bag is great mixed in with it. You pay the same price as panda express but you get so much more! & they deliver! Never had a problem. read more

I ordered from here and the delivery driver threatened to charge me a delivery fee next time i orders because he drove 5 miles to deliver and I paid in cash ( like I do everything). I told him to take it back and he gripped the cash as to not give it back and said "forget it". The details.. The bill came to $18.09 and I had $19.09 on me so I gave it to him. Just the same as if i would have had a $20 he would have gotten that. Why do I get attitude for his employer not paying him properly. Customers don't tip my at my job for doing my job. Arrived quickly, and cheap. But... I literally spit the soggy disgusting food out of my mouth and threw $30 in the trash. It honestly is the worst Chinese food I can remember having. Everything was bad. The sesame chicken was super soggy, overly breaded, and had very poor quality meat. The egg rolls were horrendous, undercooked, and tasted like dough. Barf. Seriously, so gross. The vegtable lo mein was also dry, and didn't taste good at all, but was at least edible unlike the chicken and egg rolls. I forced myself to eat a couple bites, but that was it. The fried rice was the only thing that was even "ok". Even the fortune cookie wasn't up to par. Literally the entire bag of food went in the trash, I wasted $30 of my hard earned cash. We picked up crab wontons, sweet and sour chicken and general Tso's. Everything was hot when we got it home. I liked that the chicken and veggies were separate from the sweet and sour sauce so the chicken didn't get soggy. Husband thought Medium in the General Tso's would have a little more heat. read more

I called and the owner/manager (female) was not apologetic and told me she was busy. She said she would deliver the receipt. That was not why I called, I wanted what I ordered. She did not care to rectify the situation and I was a bother to her. That is the only reason why I am leaving this review. I gave them a chance to fix it, they did not. There was also no sympathy. I genuinely love their sesame chicken but it doesn't reheat very well. Delivery was about 40 minutes total both times which was pretty perfect for me. Tried the beef lo mein last time which was also delicious and I plan to get it again next time. But my FAVORITE part is that when I order online and choose 'spicy' for my sesame chicken, it's actually Spicy!! Other places I've ordered online never seemed spicy so I enjoy that about Cafe China.
