This place is at the bottom of my list for breakfast spots. We came here on a Saturday and luckily it wasn't packed... (after my experience there, I understand why). We were sat down and the guys who took our orders were nice. It took about 15-20mins for us to get our food which wasn't too bad. It was brought over by some rude lady (who's name I didn't get) but she practically threw our plates at us & also our bill/change later on. Anyways on to the food. Full stack of chocolate chip pancakes: 4.5/10 These were probably one of the driest and most flavorless pancakes I've had. Even Denny's or iHop has better. I had to put a ton of their raspberry syrup they had in order to make it edible. There were barely any chocolate chips inside so do not call it chocolate chip pancakes because it was lacking. The presentation was nice though. My bf ordered the combo and said it was okay. It wasn't too expensive but I wouldn't come back considering it's a far drive and just overall, the worst. "I try to save by cooking at home-it's fresher, healthier, and I expect respectful service when I do choose to eat out. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case here. The owner was rude, unprofessional, and not welcoming at all. Despite ordering three meals, including two kids' plates, I was told I couldn't touch my toddler's food, even though it was paid for. The food itself was disappointing-cold, dry, and unappetizing. My toddler didn't eat, and the untouched plate should have been a clear sign that something was wrong. What made the experience slightly better was the server, Eddy. He was kind, helpful, and professional. He's clearly been dealing with a lot, and the only reason I left a tip was because of him. My gf took me here. We had a lovely little table outside. The staff is so kind and helpful. Our food came out and was deeeelicious! I got the chilaquilles and my gf got the omelette which was cooked to perfection! The latte we ordered was out of this world. A lot of the time coffee comes out kinda mediocre at these types of cafes but not here!!! Maybe hence the name of the restaurant- haha! Been here a few times and everything I've had on the menu is delicious. My 91 year old mom loves their pancakes. They help here is very friendly and accommodating. Great food and service. Cute outdoor seating area and nice cozy booths inside. Did I mention the service? We had 3 servers come by within 3 minutes - first got our drinks, second gave the daily special, third took our order. Food came out fast - we got a (huge) cheeseburger and the mashed potato omelette- very tasty! 3 types of salsa and 2 syrups on the table. Will be back to try out more on the menu! Was about a 15-20 minute wait but it was worth it. Lots of thick bacon, eggs and potatoes. I encourage getting the salsa (I got mild and it had a kick) which took it up a notch!! Will be going back. Came here to try something new that didn't break the bank. I stay local to the area and work close by so I wanted somewhere to eat with coffee refills. I was lucky and came the last Sunday of the month and apparently that is chilaquiles day! I tried that and a slice of French toast. The Boysenberry syrup was amazing!!! I've been meeting up with friends nearly every Friday for breakfast at this restaurant. The food is always delicious, and the service is excellent. However, there's a significant issue with the restaurant ,they don't seat you until all parties are present. I understand when they're busy,but it happened to us last month when it was pouring outside, and one of us was running late due to traffic. Despite knowing them well, they didn't seat us when half the restaurant was empty. We were extremely disappointed. It seems like their priority is making money & not care about friendships. My girlfriends and I visited this place for a low key birthday brunch. I of course took a peek at the menu the day before so I wouldn't be indecisive. Ambiance - We opted for patio seating which we enjoyed as we know how loud we can be. It wasn't anything too fancy but doable for eating. Parking - The establishment is in a lot with other businesses which allow for adequate parking. They do share the lot with a gym so keep that in mind. Price - Our tab came out to $59 and this was for 3 dishes, 2 drinks, a latte, & a cinnamon roll. I'd say not bad at all! Cash only establishment but they do have an on-site ATM Food - The chefs were whipping it up in the kitchen. I had the pleasure of meeting them and giving them hugs after taking a bit of that cinnamon roll. My scramble was also well seasoned and portioned. I requested for a side of chile verde sauce and it took my meal over the top. I'm craving the same dish and it's the next morning! FYI - They will not seat you until your entire party has arrived. The waitress even with an empty patio made sure we didn't sit because they "could fill up fast" mind you our friend was parking her car. They do not have liquor; yeah no bottomless mimosas here nor any cocktails. I highly suggest pre gaming then coming to eat right after. I swooned after eating the chile verde omelette. Mostly what won me over was there was salsa on the table?!! I was very excited about that because I'm all about the sauce life. The chile verde omelette is one of the best omelettes I've ever had in my life. An omelette with a Mexican twist. All the flavors blend together so well, there was so much protein, and endless sauce. All of my favorite things. Pancakes were just OK so I don't recommend. Chorizo eggs were decent but uncomparable to chile verde omelette (how many times did I say that)? I was bummed to have to give such low stars but dishonesty is a huge turn off. I ordered an omelette and asked for no meat and to SUBSTITUTE jalapeño for bell peppers. They said no problem but when I got the bill the charged me for jalapeños. I asked why I was being charged and their response was jalapeños are more expensive than bell peppers which is a total lie. I'm a sucker for hole in the wall breakfast places, it just feels more like home. Make sure you get there early because there is always a wait, but trust me SO WORTH IT!!
