The churros are good and have lots of sugar on them but they have an oily aftertaste. I'm not sure what kind of oil they fry them in but they may want to consider changing it. Tasty Churros Today, I visited Churroholic Hiccups for the first time and I was pleaseantly surprised. The churros are crisp, sugary on the outside and tender and flavorful on the inside. My nephew and I ordered the original churro to go and they were large, enough for two to share. I didn't expect her to take as long as she did going back and forth with orders and running to the back for other things. The other person in the front was prepping some ice cream orders and said that they'd be with me in a minute. She came to the register and asked if we were ready to order....then walked away after I said yes. Don't get me wrong, I understand that they were a little busy but, don't ask if a customer is ready to order and then walk away to finish something. Finish what you're doing first...then ask if the customer is ready so there are no weird interruptions like that. Now...for the good stuff. I ordered an iced Vietnamese coffee and a iced macchiato. Both were delicious and made wonderfully. I'm not too much of a coffee person but, there was no bitterness, it wasn't overly sweet. The drinks were fantastic. I'd gladly go back and visit again. First time trying this place. It was a busy Saturday afternoon and the place was full. We browsed the menu and decided to try the Breakfast Churro bites with an a scoop of vanilla ice cream added. We were greeted and asked to wait a moment before taking our order. The cashier was friendly and patiently explained some menu items. We placed our order and sat down to wait. While waiting I observed a clean dining area, ample seating, all employees & customers wearing masks and hand sanitizer provided near napkins and straws. We waited about 15 minutes for our order and it was worth it. The breakfast churro bites have 2 churros cut in pieces, along with strawberries, bananas & blueberries, plus whip cream, raspberry & chocolate syrup dusted with powdered sugar and we added vanilla ice cream. Delicious. My only complaint is that I would have liked to have seen more raspberry & chocolate syrup. While there I noticed they offered several types of drinks and food.
