this is the cafe's soft opening so as a customer, i feel like you should keep that in mind going in (re: the poor first review, they should've checked the cafe's socials). i'm an early riser so i was there about 15 mins after opening, obviously wasn't busy and the staff were all friendly! the place is fairly small but has some seating available for about 15 people. i ordered one of their signature drinks called the dirty nutty and the flavor is in the name! it's a peanut forward drink, the peanut cream and crushed peanut around the rim kind of reminded me of the mazapán mexican candy. the espresso was good enough to balance the overall sweetness of the drink. i'll have to come back to try the rest of the menu! :) read more

New new spot! The wait time is a bit long (they're brand new! So I give them grace on that :) ) and the interior is very pretty but not good to work in. Food and drinks were fine. But don't hang out here. Some guy who was originally behind the counter came to sit near patrons and he was actively taking photos of people including my young kid. Didn't ask permission to take photos of my child or my other friends who were there. Creep behavior. I don't care if the guy owns the place or is just an employee. He should not be doing that, and you need to delete those photos you took without permission. Never coming back here again. I can get sugar many other places. read more

Really enjoyed their dirty nutty latte which is one of their signature lattes. Still coffee forward but different than your typical artisanal coffee shop flavors. The tigre pastry was nothing I've ever tried before. We enjoyed the two flavors we were able to snag - earl grey and espresso. Both were delicious. We did return as it was a nice change up to local favorite spots when we do not feel like going to our usuals or making from home. read more

I came by since I heard a new coffee shop had opened. My wife and I visited -- the space isn't very big, but it's modern and beautifully designed. I ordered one of their signature drinks and an iced Americano. The signature drink was, as the name suggests, nutty and leaned toward the sweet side. It was a bit too sweet for me personally, but still tasty. However, when I tried the Americano, the coffee itself lacked a distinctive flavor. They seem to use good machines, but the flavor profile felt a bit off. Overall, it felt more like a dessert-focused cafe rather than a place for serious coffee enthusiasts. OC coffee scene is no joke, and it takes a lot of creativity to stand out. I've had my share of cream top lattes, but their Dirty Nutty is a Peanut Butter Coffee Lover's version of a marguerita. Instead of shots of tequila, you have shots of velvety espresso on the rocks, topped by a peanut butter chocolate cream that harmonizes the espresso with a rich touch sweetness. Then you get a rim of caramel peanut bits on the cup adding more texture and flavor. Who cares what the word Eclado means, from my experience, it is the definition of luscious quality espresso presented in a unique way. I was just saying I craved a well crafted coffee that I cannot find even at that coffee chain that offers endless customizing options. The dirty nutty satiated that craving for sure, the 20 minute drive pays off. I will say they serve a smaller 12 oz unlike a traditional American 16 oz but it's worth every penny. The strawberry matcha is so good! It is probably the best strawberry matcha that I've had anywhere around here. Typically, strawberry matchas have 1 of 2 problems for me: 1) Wayyyy too sweet or syrupy or 2) The matcha is grainy and bitter tasting.
