This an adorable little Italian eatery right near the Intercostal. The restaurant is decorated with scenes from Italian and posters from famous Italian movies. The restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating. Our servers were very nice, offering us plenty of bread and water to start. We had the Caesar salad to start and then we split a margarita pizza. Cafe Frankie's is small, unassuming but 100% worth it! We went this past Monday for a belated Father's Day dinner and were greeted like we were family! The servers are attentive and friendly and everything we ordered was delicious! Went to dinner at Cafe Frankie's. We have not been there for a very long time. Service is 100%. It's located across from the Banana Boat. It's a very small Italian restaurant with very good food. This time I had Chicken Marsala with vegetables, was great. My friends shared Sunday sauce, which included a meat ball, pork sausage and something else, over pasta. I do not eat pork, but the sauce looked amazing. They loved it. My friend said the sausage was excellent & so was the meat ball. They put a dollop of ricotta cheese on top. I only wish their bread was better. We enjoyed our visit & will be back. Sorry forgot to take pictures. Plenty of parking in front of the restaurant. read more

Frankie's Café has the best pizza around. We live in West Boynton Beach and we drive all the way to the intercoastal to get Frankies margarita pizza. HOLY WOW!!! Amazing pizza, the crust is the most unique I think I've ever had in Florida. The bake was PERFECT the entire crust was the exact same golden brown color, crispy/flavorful amazing. I got a margarita and it was UNREAL. Sometimes this type of pizza can be too salty -- but that wasn't the case here. Perfectly balanced. We came in for a quick lunch. The restaurant is located in a corner of the shopping plaza. There was plenty of parking in the lot out front. Inside, it's a casual setting. There was a gal in training at the register, but she gave us a paper menu and told us the pages from which we could order for lunch. Once we'd decided, we should come back and order at the counter/cash register. So we looked over the menu and decided on their pizza slice special. It's two slices and a soda. We both ordered this. And paid at the counter. We got our sodas and sat to wait. I got up to find straws... and helped myself to containers of oregano, salt, and red pepper flakes. I brought these back to our table. I didn't see any napkins. The gal came by to tell us that it would be awhile as they had to make a new pizza. There were only 3 slices left and we needed 4. No problem. When our slices were ready, she brought it to the table. We asked for napkins and she brought us real ones (linen/cotton) wrapped around silverware. My pizza was obviously two of the slices that had been sitting and then reheated in the oven. You could tell by the cheese. My husband's slices came from the "fresh" pizza. I thought they were decent. My husband's comment was that we'd had better. That's true, but for the price and convenience, it was just right for an inexpensive and satisfying lunch. read more

The new owners that took over just before Covid have fine-tuned their new recipes with the long-time menu items. They changed the complimentary bread and bean spread to a roll with garlic oil on the side. It was very good and the bread was very soft. We ordered a few Happy Hour menu items, and they were all very good. The fried mozzarella sticks were not breaded but battered, and the cheese stretch was excellent. Their "Amazings" were very creative with a great sausage flavor. The meatballs (3) were served with a very generous amount of red sauce and fresh ricotta cheese. The cheese ravioli was an extremely generous portion with large scalloped edged pillows in a nice red sauce. We ordered 2 salads as well. The Caesar salad with added salmon was fresh and had plenty of crispy lettuce. The antipasta salad had the perfect amount of salami to cheese ration mixed in with roasted red peppers and other Italian toppings. Overall, we were very pleased with the food and the service was excellent. Tammy H. took great care of us along with the food runners and the manager. We were at Cafe Frankie's this past Saturday night with a group of friends and had such a great time!!!!! The food was excellent - loved the appetizers ("Amazings" were amazing, Mozzarella coins were delicious). I had Chicken Parmigiana as my entree (delicious) and several others raved about the pork chop. All delicious. The best part was the service - Kelsey was our server and made sure we all had what we needed and also made sure we had a great time! And Ciro (normally the outstanding pizza chef) stopped by the table several times to make recommendations and make sure we were enjoying dinner. They really made dinner not only delicious, but a great, fun experience at a great price. Looking forward to returning soon! read more

Someone at my gym mentioned Cafe Frankie's , so being Italian restaurant aficionados, we decided to try it. Tucked in the rear corner of a strip center. It is basically a Pizzeria with Italian food. Started with Calamari Fritti, Calamari with hot & sweet cherry peppers served with marinara sauce, just ok. We had to ask for bread that comes with garlic oil twice. For mains , i tried the Zuppa Di Pesce,clams, mussels, calamari, and shrimp in a light tomato seafood sauce, served over linguine. The sauce was watery and tasteless. Not a good sign for an Italian restaurant . My wife chose the Eggplant Parmigiana, eggplant breaded, baked with tomato sauce, ricotta & mozzarella cheese, served with pasta. One of her favorite, she thought it was just fair. One in our party ordered thin spaghetti with olive oil and garlic and they brought our ziti instead. She sent it back and they brought a thin spaghetti without the olive oil and garlic so she ordered the ravioli. One and done. read more

My wife and I tried cafe Frankie's this evening. They are a smallish clean nicely laid out restaurant that we definitely plan to return to. Nice menu and adequate beer/ wine choices. I found the Caesar salad exceptionally tasty, with a unique mult-cheese flavor, fresh lettuce, homemade Caesar dressing and very good. The Lasagna was great.
