This place feels very Italy. They serve Italian beer and wine, no cocktails however- they couldn't make a Shirley temple. The food was very tasty! All of my party liked what they got. How could Italian food ever be bad?! Our server was very nice, definite worth to check out but in mt dora there is so much to check out.

First visit was in the area for the art festival. We sat outside; there were four of us. We were very pleased with the food, I had the red snapper, and my husband the osso buco. The marinara sauce was perfect. We had a couple Italian beers and met the chef. He was very pleasant and friendly. The prices were reasonable and there wasn't a charge for using a credit card. Will definitely be back.

The 10$ Ceasar salad had 2 leafs of romaine at best, more croutons than lettuce and the dressing was a blob on top, not tossed. The photo is after we asked for more romaine.

Best Italian food in the area! Quality food & Amazing service, Gianni himself comes to greet you and make sure everything is perfect. I recommend the Pollo Piccata but every dish is so delicious. The bread with the oil dip is to die for! It's very hard to choose a dessert too because they are all so good.

Food was tasty, I want more of it. Awesome atmosphere and friendly. Had a great experience...

    Shrimp with pesto

The most lovely little Italian spot. All plates came out exceptionally quick and our server Shona was very attentive but never overbearing. The owner stopped by our table and was very personable and really nailed in the experience. Skip the overhyped and overcrowded spots and stop by for a real Italian experience. This is the type of restaurant you want to visit.

such a quaint Italian restaurant with excellent service by Shona and personal attendance of the Chef Gianni at our table. Tortelini with fungi was amazing!

The service and food were incredible! It was our first time but not the last. Everyone on our group loved their meals! Incredibly authentic Italian right in the heart of Mount Dora

The restaurant was not too busy when we got there. Our friends were already seated and waiting for us. There had ordered water for the table and had their coffees. Joshua appeared shortly after we exchanged pleasantries with our group. He checked in and we ordered coffee as well. He returned with the coffee and took all our orders. Two of our friends frequent the cafe weekly so he already knew what they wanted. The rest of us were able to order. We received our food in a reasonable time. Joshua and Kim checked in periodically to make sure we didn't need anything and kept the coffee flowing. I had the Pot Roast Omelette with Home Fries and a Biscuit. It was ok. Everyone else enjoyed their food. I would recommend the cafe adding fresh fruits to the menu. By the time we got ready to leave, there was a line of people waiting to be seated. We had to sidled out the door. The cafe is quaint and popular with the locals of Mount Dora. I am open to returning and trying something else on the menu.

It's such a cute spot, with an impressive selection of baked goods at very reasonable prices. The latte was delicious and piping hot--perfect for a chilly day. My first bite of the garlic chocolate chip cookie had me thinking, "No," but it quickly grew on me, and I ended up really enjoying the unexpected combination of flavors. There is something satisfying about starting the morning in a place that feels local and intentional rather than corporate, and this shop fit that mood perfectly. The barista was still finishing the morning setup when I arrived, but once everything was in place she made a fantastic cortado for me. Strong, balanced, and served with care, it was exactly the kind of drink that settles you into the day. I ended up spending about two hours here, enjoying the coffee and their reliable wifi while easing into my morning before heading out to explore downtown Eustis. The shop itself is clean and comfortable, with enough warmth in the atmosphere to make it easy to linger. I did not understand the decision to keep the front door propped open, especially with the cold air and the steady hum of road noise drifting in, but every shop has its quirks. To each their own. Even with that oddity, it was a pleasant and productive stop, and a good way to begin the day in Eustis. [Review 1621 of 2025 - 2198 in Florida - 25169 overall]

First, It didn't seem like the food was fresh, the fries tasted stale, the spinach pie was a huge blob and the presentation was awkward. The spinach pie was nearly the size of the plate and was nearly flat as a pancake. I was so confused why they even bothered placing it on a bed of lettuce. I ended up with wilted lettuce at the end. My biggest complaint is they need to pay attention to their cleanliness. I had something floating in my glass, there was a large cobweb hanging from the main light fixture, and when my food was brought out, the tray was covered in crumbs. I ordered the minestrone and clams-linguini with red wine sauce. Her salad came out and the greens were fresh, but the salad was drowned in dressing. The pasta and chicken were over cooked. The portion was huge, but I think for the price it missed the mark. We did get some bread and it was lacking flavor aka love. My soup came out and the broth was flavorful, carrots tender and everything else was over cooked, especially the pasta. It tasted like the soup and pasta were cooking for hours causing the pasta to be soggy. As a chef, there are several techniques that could have been used to improve the soup texture. The broth was the best part of the soup. My main dish came out and it missed several profiles such as flavor, texture, and freshness. I could tell the clams were canned and the pasta was boxed. Pasta was a bit over cooked, but not as bad as the soup. The portion was huge and presentation was awesome. Overall, the ambiance was awesome. Live music was playing. Staff were friendly. Place was clean. Not sure the price justified the overall dining experience for me. They say you eat with your eyes, nose, and mouth. It definitely looked tasty,
