We went based on yelp reviews for my wife's birthday and unfortunately didn't go that well. Our kids were with us and this place said it was kid friendly, but it's more for adults. No kid's menu... my daughter ordered pasta with butter and my son spaghetti with sauce. They were both $7 dollars for a rather small portion. My wife ordered a gluten free pasta and she was the last one to receive her food since they forgot to make it GF. The first check they took one of our drinks off... thought it was to appease us... but then she came back and said that she messed up on our check and added the other $9. Long story short, they didn't give us a break with the bill and weren't apologetic. Also, it gives recommended tips starting at %20... was hard to do so with that kind of service. After a full day of driving, this was a wonderfully civilized dining experience. The charming Hispanic guy who served us was helpful & saw to our every need. Very impressive! The atmosphere is very comfortable. A feeling of being part of their family. Entre came with a light salad and bread. VERY impressed with how the caprese was presented. First let me say the food, and atmosphere are great. I intended to become a regular customer this was my second visit in several weeks and I planned to being a friend for dinner the following week, however when I went to pay my $75 lunch bill (that was including tip) and use my $15 restaurant.com coupon I was told that they no longer accepted those coupons. ok, thing happen BUT I have been a store manger for 45 years and if a customer had presented me with a $15 coupon I would have honored it and told the customer I was making an exception but would not be able to do so on future purchases. This would have been disappointing as I also had a $25 coupon but I would have felt that the Cafe had honored my and my business with a fair option. Now instead of returning I will go elsewhere. Great find in Santa Fe. After living here for a little over a year and coming from Italian family it has been hard not having a good Italian restaurant. The food here was excellent, my mother polenta was spot on, my pasta dish was excellent and my grandmother dish was also fabulous. The service was excellent and it was a great atmosphere. We were craving pasta after hiking all day. We found Cafe Grazie. It looked a little classy for us being dressed in our hiking attire, but it was all ok. We had the fritto misto for an appetizer. Friendly but misses the mark. They do not have a kids menu. They do have the paper on the tables for kids to color on but no colors. I ordered the $30 filet mignon with mash potatoes. 20 mins after I ordered it, I was told they don't have mash potatoes. Come to find out, they ran out much earlier. Ordered take out on a stop over during our recent backpacking trip. It was between 8 and 9 pm. The tomato basil soup tasted more like a marinara sauce. Pretty sure it was a marinara sauce. The panini sandwich was dry and uneventful. The anti pasta salad was filled with yummy ingredients but all dry. No olive oil/balsamic/seasoning. Sticking with their pastas maybe a better choice. My wife and I were traveling through New Mexico, stayed overnight in Santa Fe, and discovered this gem of an Italian restaurant. Cafe Grazie is in the southwest suburbs of the city. Its a small restaurant, ten tables and two booths. A wonderful selection of Italian dishes from a sizable menu. Service was wonderful; our waiter was gracious and attentive. My family (Mom, Dad, younger sister, and myself) decided to stop into this little restaurant after my Mom saw glowing reviews on their FaceBook page. It was well worth it! This wonderful little restaurant was near our house, the prices were all well with in reasonable (I didn't feel like it was a splurge to pick anything off the menu), service prompt, and food delicious. Shortly after we came in, the four of us were seated at a booth and given menus. The menus had quite a few options but not so many that it was over stimulating. Shortly after ordering, we were given small salads and bread to begin. Despite the fact that I am far more of a bleu cheese dressing person, I really enjoy the dressing. The bread was really good too, and there was olive oil and balsamic on the table if that's how you like your bread. We also orders the calamari appetizer (my Dad and I are the ones who enjoy calamari, so we ate the bulk of that) and that was delightful as well. It had a garlic-y marinara sauce that even my Mom enjoyed! After we were done with the first course, the table was swiftly cleared and drinks refilled as needed. Not long after that, our entrees came out. Everyone enjoyed what they ordered and the tastes that took from each other's plates. I had had a rough time with my stomach a few days before, and have got to admit, I was leery of eating out much. I needn't have worried. The food was light and flavorful, and although I wound up having to take some of my pasta home with me, I was very pleased to be able to eat dinner where I did. Finally, after dinner, we ordered dessert. The tiramisu was spot on. It was a wonderful combination of coffee and sweet, satisfying and light... Our waiter (who was also the owner) took the time to talk to us; refills were always given as needed; the food was timely and awesome; prices reasonable; and ambiance most enjoyable. While visiting my parents in Santa Fe they said they had a new favorite Italian place and wanted to take me. Wow! I ordered the Ravioli ai Funghi. Its portabella mushroom ravioli in a sage cream sauce. It was excellent! The cream sauce was not too heavy and tasted incredible. My dad ordered a salmon dish that came with polenta and sauteed veggies. He loved it. My mom had a seafood dish called Frutti di Mare. She said it was her favorite seafood dish anywhere in Santa Fe. Don't be deterred by the location. Its in parking lot of large shopping center south Santa Fe. But that means you don't have trouble with parking like downtown. The service was exceptional! Our server was friendly and very knowledgeable of the menu. Usually when I go home to visit I look forward to the new Mexican food, but from now on this place will be a must visit! read more

My partner just wrote a review and encouraged me to do the same. I has the risotto with mushrooms. It was terrible. The risotto was still hard, there were only a few mushrooom, and it was very 'soupy.' And it tasted very bland. Absolutely NO redeeming qualities. It was inedible! When I asked the waiter about my dinner, he had no interest in my comments or experience, and simply said "That's how we make it here." I have no idea how this place stays in business. We were in Santa Fe from Albuquerque to visit MeowWolf. We decided to look for a place to eat. My kids wanted Buffalo Wild Wings. We turned into it and saw this place, we all love Italian so it was a no brainer. I'm so glad we did! The food was so good! They don't have a kids menus but will cater to kids, and help come up with an option for them, I have the mushroom ravioli, my husband lasagna con carne, and it was soooo good!! I hope that my Yelp friends will all make a trip so come eat at this wonderful place. Service was excellent but at 2pm on a Monday we were the only ones in the place.
