I love this place! The Cubano is authentic and full of bold flavor, and the plantains are sweet and delicious. Add an ice-cold beer with chips, salsa, and fresh guacamole, and I'm a happy camper. Great vibe, a nice bar, and an outdoor patio that makes it easy to linger. Friendly and attentive staff too!

I'm shocked this place doesn't have a higher rating, my boyfriend and I had a great time here. We split the fish tacos which were some of the best I've had, and the rice that they came with was delicious. We also got ceviche, chips and salsa and a prickly pear margarita. The restaurant itself was super cute and the staff were awesome. Everything was 10/10 and we'll definitely be back, this is for sure one of our new fav spots in Malibu.

Where's the FLAVOR??!! Was the chef sick today?? Coming from a Latina family, we love REAL good food!! We ordered mahi taco entree and guacamole w/chips. Salsa came in 2 small containers that was like having tomato sauce from a can. No spice, no salt, no chilies. Food was bland, again no flavor. Guacamole was bland, no veggies added, no spice, no salt. Chips were stale, cold and again no salt added. I wish I cooked at home tonight! Maybe next time CH?!

I know people have mixed feeling but I think you just have to order the right things The fish tacos are great, the salmon burger is fire, the salmon was good. We made a reservation for 16 people one day before pre-grad night for a late dinner and they were able to accommodate us, great for large parties!

Excellent location, wonderful Malibu restaurant. Enjoyed my drink tremendously, the Manager even went to get the bottle for me from the back, and the food was on point. Great for locals and tourists alike. It's so moody here at night, really love it!

Love this spot! Been going here for years. I pick up the fish tacos at least once a week and they never disappoint! Also, the drinks are amazing!

Stopped by to check out this cuban hideaway by the beach. Service was decent and food was good. They've got a great covered outdoor patio where we enjoyed our dinner and the drinks were delicious. Definitely not a bad spot to stop by if you're in the area, though better cuban food can definitely be had elsewhere. Solid 4 out of 5 stars!

The food was amazing in the place. I really liked the chicken tinga tacos. Only thing is that the corn tortillas fall apart which is expected. The service was great the waiter was very attentive. Sat outside in patio. The ambiance was great, I liked the wall painting and fresh plants bordering the patio.

It looked cute, had plenty of people, dogs on the patio, and we were craving a light bite -- so we thought, why not? I love when an unexpected dining experience hits and completely exceeds your expectations, and Zinqué did exactly that. We arrived at the perfect time: happy hour. Both of our drinks were included, and they offered a deal on any three tapas. We tried the deviled eggs, chicken wings, and burrata pizza -- each one was elegantly plated, packed with flavor, and exactly what we needed. Their drink menu is extensive, with tons of happy‑hour options. I especially appreciated their long wine list and that they clearly mark which wines are organic, natural, or biodynamic -- something I always look for and can be hard to spot on menus. Service was excellent. Our server was friendly, attentive, and even chatted with us for a bit. The space is beautiful, dog‑friendly, and has a great outdoor patio. Inside, there's a cozy lounge‑style area in the back and a half‑circle bar. They also offer Wi‑Fi, making it a great spot to get some work done while enjoying a drink. On the way out, I noticed they have a connected store and café with home goods, kitchen items, artisanal snacks, cheeses, wines, and even an espresso bar. It was so fun to browse and grab a lovely bottle of wine to go. A perfect, unexpected Malibu find -- we'll definitely be back.

It's almost like a farm setting and sorta lit up like Christmas it's very beautiful with all the lights. We stopped to grab a coffee at the coffee shop there and it was honestly not that great, they were very sweet the girl working there I do remember that. But their coffee was not that great. The dinner we had was nice but it was outside and it was freezing. So we were all shivering and by the time our food came out everything was pretty cold. The entire hotel was not busy there wasn't that many people there. Kind of a shame since you think it would be since it is beautiful there. The rooms were interesting and across from each other, however I loved the little fire pit they had in the middle of the outside area going back and forth to the rooms. The kids had a blast though they had fun running back and forth and they do leave a lot of yummy snacks around which was really nice. The customer service was not bad not the best but not bad! Everyone was nice but things took extra long when it shouldn't when no one was really there. I hope next time we visit this hotel it will be busier. But it's a very unique kind of a hotel and very gorgeous. At least check it out once. Have a really beautiful day :) Be kind to everyone - Aloha

The whole area…read morearound it is nice too with other restaurants and shops nearby, so it's a good place to walk around before or after dinner. There's also a huge parking structure. We went on a Saturday around 3pm after the beach and it was busy, but we still got seated right away for 2 people. We sat inside near the windows and honestly it still felt like we were part of the outdoor seating with the ocean breeze and open vibe. Our server Brandon was great..super friendly with a good attitude and made the experience even better. We started with 2 dirty martinis with goat cheese stuffed olives. I'm not a huge drink person so I can't overly critique cocktails, but they tasted like a proper martini and were made well. Apparently they're known for their martinis. Of course we got oysters..4 east coast and 4 west coast. The east coast oysters were smaller and I personally liked those more. The west coast ones were creamier and a little bigger, but both were very fresh. Food wise: * Clark's burger was simple but really good. Thick patty, cheese, amazing pickles (seriously I could eat a whole jar of those), and skinny fries that were almost chip-like. I personally would've liked the fries a tiny bit less crispy so they felt more potato-y, but still good overall. * Tuna carpaccio was delicious and came with this garlic aioli-type sauce on top that was sooo good. * The crudo plate was super refreshing with capers and this citrusy sauce that honestly stole the show. I asked for lemon on the side and squeezing that on top reallllly elevated the flavor. The sauce was so good I started dipping my tuna carpaccio into it too lol. Overall it was a vibe. Great atmosphere, fresh seafood, good service, and a really pretty setting. I'll definitely be back to try their dinner menu too. If you want outdoor seating (which I highly recommend if the weather is nice), definitely reserve ahead because that area fills up fast.

We had the Tuxedo and Blue Hill bay for starters and they were right on point. The steak tartare was excellent. My cocktail, the salty surfer, was not the most exciting, lacked depth, would not order again. My entree was the halibut with the chimichurri and paprika sauces. Not sure if the fish was bland and completely lacking flavor because the sauces were on the side, in which case that would be my fault, but it was meh. My Husbands sea bream was far more flavorful and a better choice. One of our party had the burger and was very happy, and another, the lobster roll. The Kale is a very strong smoke flavor with an acid topnote, very different, but not sure in a good way. Likewise, the fries were just overly salted plate decor. Dessert of pote de creme was delish, as was the key lime tort. I did not care for the chocolate mousse cake, it was not overly sweet (good), but also not a very developed chocolate flavor as it was overpowered by the fruit rather than complimented by it. The ambience is festive, which is to say loud. It is located in one of our new strip malls and had it been warmer, the patio would have been the better choice for conversation. The staff is friendly, attentive and at no point did we feel rushed. Our waiter really knew his menu and was excited about the food. This is a great option if you order the right items and such a treat to have a quality choice for dining in Malibu!

Food: Rice slushy had a strangely strong cinnamon-like taste to it that traditional rice punch doesn't have which was so overpowering, it made it difficult to go back for more sips. Oysters - good though small, enjoyed the kelp mignonette Korean Aguachile - Delicate tilefish completely overwhelmed by cold kimchi broth with actual icy slush in it and small amounts of fish Steak Tartare - The hot stone bowl seemed to defeat the purpose of a tartare, as it cooked the steak once mixed. The perilla leaves were also cut in large strips relative to the beef. Chilled Acorn Noodle - The perilla oil was nonexistent in flavor though the dish didn't need it and was good without. Overall, portions were small for the price and dishes weren't well-executed so despite being excited for more Korean options in West LA, I'd much rather make the drive to Koreatown for better portions, prices, and flavors.
