It is very spacious and filled with many tables, so even when busy you'll likely be able to find a spot. The menu is a bit messy to look at--there is a big menu hanging over the kiosks, another posted alongside where a line is formed, then the menu on the tablet kiosks themselves. It's a pretty big menu featuring primarily coffee-based drinks, matcha lattes, and a wide variety of food, so you'll likely find something appealing. I ordered their smoked salmon bagel (which rang up to about $16) and their matcha latte ($8); to be honest, neither were outstanding. The salmon and avocado in the bagel were great, but the bagel itself was a bit stale--for $16, it's a bit hard to swallow. The matcha was very milky, and there is another store offering better matcha drinks in the same plaza. I'll admit, though, it's a little on me for not picking coffee at a spot with "coffee" in the name. I will say, though, that the atmosphere in the main area is pretty good; the decor is understated but comfortable, and the lighting is good. The service is also solid--the servers are friendly and our order came out quickly. I will say that the bathroom feels ominous. Overall, it's a great spot to study; Big Mug is open late, has free Wi-Fi and a bathroom for customers, and offers both food and caffeinated drinks for longer study sessions. I feel that the prices vary widely for items but skew towards being too pricy for the quality, at least from my limited experience. I plan on coming back to give other items a try, but for now, it's not a favorite.

We had lovely chats with Robert at the register who gave good suggestions and another lovely lady at the drink pickup station. Bubbly, chatty, and very sweet! Later at our table, my daughter accidentally dropped a plate and it shattered. She burst into tears, completely mortified. Robert and Elizabeth were over in seconds, not in a rushing-to-clean-up way, but in a genuinely human way. They consoled her, made her feel better, and had a fresh plate ready for her before she had a chance to stay embarrassed about it. They really saved the day, and did it with so much kindness! There is always a lot of people here since it's close to offices and De Anza college so just be aware that it'll be busy. They have a variety of creative speciality drinks but I usually stink to an iced latte with brown sugar syrup and it's delicious. The cashiers are always super sweet and will help you choose something if you don't know what to get (: Parking situation is also a little limited but there's always people coming in and out so it won't take long to get a spot.

I also have found the pastries, toasts and grab-n-go options for food are all solid. Service here is super quick and everyone was super friendly. Highly recommend the matcha and a quick bite to eat if you stop by!

It was near 5pm. I walked in and the place was empty. The gentleman behind the counter greeted me. I asked for a strawberry smoothie, then walked around to survey all the baked goods. It's a small bakery with lots of trays of individually packaged cakes and pastries. The smell was very pleasant and comforting. Using a flat basket (or tray) I grabbed a few selections. I picked 2 "Heart Pies" that resembled my favorite French Butterfly Cookies. Also 2 pound cakes. The total rang up to just over $21. There's some small tables for enjoying your purchases there, but I took my items to go. The icy cold fruit smoothie was very good and very cold! Not too sweet, it had a natural strawberry taste. The Heart Pies were good and fresh. But the Pound Cakes were probably "day old." I noticed there's no dates or "best by" tags on the packages. It's a nice place to visit, and I will return again. However, I have not seen it on the menu since March. Hopefully they'll bring it back. They now have order online via their website (chowbus), and I recently learned that they have an app. This makes ordering drinks at this location easy since it is located in corner strip mall with minimal parking.

The interior is clean, beautiful, and smells like fragrant tea. I'm so used to waiting 30-50 minutes for drink at their other locations, like San Mateo. I had fully accepted my fate after placing the order, so I immediately walked back to my car to snack on In N Out fries. 5 minutes later, I got a text that my order was ready! There is a sign by the registers stating that drinks are best enjoyed within 15 minutes to prevent the foam from melting too much. I like how their employees ask if you want whipped cream on top of Snowy drinks when you arrive at the pick-up counter. I believe you can ask for the whipped cream in a paper cup instead and get a small package of pecans. They automatically do this for online takeout orders. The Snowy Jasmine is phenomenal! It's fragrant and floral, you can tell the tea is high quality and not watered down. I absolutely love the pecans topping, so unique and yummy. I used to think their super thin straw was just a gimmick, but the tea honestly tastes better through the small straw than a regular straw. 4 stars because the Tongmu Lapsang Bubble Tea is just OK, nothing special. Sunnyvale is one of the better locations and Molly Tea is a solid choice for bubble tea.
