I ordered the duck sandwich although it's called by a different name. It was amazing . The food I thought was reasonably priced for the finished product. The ambiance was incredible on a weekday morning, not busy at all which is great because its teeny tiny inside and I can see how it would be an overwhelming experience to dine there if they were busy. Super cute spot, great service and staff, the food is incredible quality I just wish I would have tried something other than the quiche they say they are known for. I LOVE quiche and order it anytime I see it on the menu- and maybe because of the French theme here- but the quiche was a texture/consistency I have never experienced, it was basically liquid inside, I ended up dipping my potatoes in it, but it was not edible. I didn't say anything though because I'm pretty sure it's how they intended it to be made, and I just wasn't a fan. I came here with my mom and girlfriend, this was our first time coming to this restaurant and the architecture was beautiful. What a delicious brunch! We arrived late morning and it was over a half hour wait, but so worth it. We ordered coffees and drank on the bench before being seated on the outdoor patio. Service was superb! We didn't need to ask for anything, our waitress was always ready to refill water or get anything we needed. I ordered the croque madam and it was delicious...especially the ham! One of the best I've had. My son ordered the creme brûlée French toast that came with blueberries. He loved his. Very large portions! Used the bathroom before leaving and it was clean and stocked. Been meaning to write this review for weeks! I was in San Clemente for a wedding and i popped into this charming little cafe just a few minutes from the beach. I was immediately greeted by Monique who made me feel right at home in a town far away from mine. I had maybe the best BLT I've ever had! I decided to eat here nearly every day of my trip, and every time I came back I was greeted like family. During my visits I also had the delightfully rich croque madame, and the signature burger with yummy skinny fries. Even though there can be a bit of a wait on weekends, it is WORTH IT. I can not recommend this place enough. They take great care in making the food and everything is presented beautifully. Again, Monique is one of the most spectacular servers I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. On a street full of trendy somewhat soulless (in my opinion) restaurants with uninspired food, it was quite refreshing. Cute little brunch spot in the heart of San Clemente. Came in on a Sunday and was about a 30 minutes wait. We heard we had to try out the teas and they didn't disappoint - might be some of my favorite teas I've ever had. I got the mushroom quiche with a side of bacon. Disrespectful Customer Service! Denied service by a young inept hostess. While waiting in line for a table for two, my wife approached the young hostess and merely asked if we could add a chair for our granddaughter in case she is delivered to us before we finish eating. The hostess said, "No it's our policy that everyone be present before she can seat us and to let her know when our entire party was present." My wife explained, "she's coming later and NOT to eat." The hostess said, No, it's our policy that everyone be present before we can seat you. Let me know when your whole party is here and I'll try to get you in." Upon hearing this after waiting in line, I approached the hostess and told her our grand-daughter was not coming to eat, rather she MAY be delivered to us before we finish eating...We'll stick with a table for two." The hostess said, "No, now that I know it'll be three people, I can't seat you until your whole party of three is here." Shocked, I repeated myself and got the same response.. Not a fan of getting charged 8$ for sausages that came from the grocery store. The portions are generous but you get four small sausages and I'm not thrilled to spend 2$ on a single grocery store sausage. It was okay otherwise. Will order the eggs benedict next time. read more

First off, the coffee/latte's are delicious and come in the biggest cup and the chorizo eggs Benedict was fantastic! We ate on the little patio - it's a small cute little restaurant, and if it's raining / sprinkling id recommend not sitting as close to the outer portion for some residual splashing but it did not hinder my experience. First I'll mention that I love the ambiance at this restaurant, it is perfect. I've been here a handful of times but the food was disappointing this time. We went here with a group of six girls to celebrate a birthday. There were only two tables dining, we went for brunch. They had a great menu, and the server was very helpful and knew all the dishes and ingredients well. We ordered everything from lox and bagels, crêpes to French omelettes and traditional eggs Benedict and of course we were bringing on the birthday mimosas of every kind they had, which were basically every juice you wanted. The food was pretty good but it was very quiet and almost to the point where it was uncomfortable because maybe they were shortstaffed or just not busy as they seemed to want us to rush. It wasn't exciting and celebratory but the food was decent and the company was excellent so being that I was in a happy place. I'm giving them a four. Unfortunately, with the group of Bday partying girls we didn't get any pictures of food but we did grab one outside of the Bday girl! Was in town with friends and they picked this spot and it was really cute. We all were really happy with our food. I asked the waitress which she would prefer over 2 items and she asked how hungry I was that the frittata was a lotta food and I was starving. I got the egg white frittata and it was awesome! I love how they made the cheese crispy on the outside of it and filled the inside with veggies. The sauce was okay, tasted of red peppers so I mostly scraped it off. I explained it was a service dog. She said NO dogs were allowed. I said, well that's illegal and she said, I am aware of that, all I can say is that I am not allowed to have any dogs in the restaurant. I wrote the owner antoinepricejr@yahoo.com and asked him: "Is this the official stance you are training your employees to communicate to the the public as it relates to ADA and specifically service dogs?" We were not allowed access with a service dog. The ADA mandates that individuals with disabilities be allowed to be accompanied by their service animals in all areas of a public accommodation that are open to the general public. We were told the owner doesn't allow service dogs and we could contact him over the weekend because he doesn't work mid-week. Needless to say we took our business to a more inclusive restaurant establishment. read more

Came in on a weekday for lunch. There's street parking and if you're not lucky then try the nearby neighborhoods. The wait for inside seating is significantly shorter than outside. We were seated before a couple waiting before us. There's still a nice breeze inside because the doors and windows are open. The seats are spaced apart enough so I didn't feel claustrophobic. We got the traditional Eggs Benedict and the Salmon Benedict. In the past, my s/o got the Pork Belly Benedict which is also good but he wanted something different this time around. The Eggs Benedict is 10/10. The Hollandaise is an interesting orange but still tasty and sops up well with the muffin, eggs, and Canadian bacon.
