I did not really enjoy my meal. The eggs were bland, my bacon was overcooked, and my potatoes tasted like they had a rubbery ring around the outside. They also had a tomatoey after taste? I still finished the meal and the fruit was good and fresh! My brother and sister got pancakes, bacon, and scrambled eggs. Their bacon was not overcooked. They both said the eggs were bland but the pancakes were good. They asked for butter as they were a bit dry, but said the butter helped. Overall they both enjoyed their meals! I was a bit disappointed with my experience but my siblings enjoyed theirs. My food may have just been a bad batch! Overall I would come back and try a different meal. Had never visited this establishment. Why? No idea. Thought for some reason it might be a chain I wouldn't like much. To my surprise the best Cobb salad from and restaurant I've ever frequented (that's many). Beautifully presented showing each ingredient. Bacon perfectly done. Chicken so tender I wondered what I'd been eating all these other years. Dressing to the side-which it really didn't need but I did anyway. Who is the chef and kitchen crew At cafe mimosa? Great staff by far!!! Very clean and welcoming when you walk in. The food is delicious and flavorful. The bacon, egg and cheese omelette was quite large and potatoes are seasoned so nicely. Love the rosemary. The reason for not awarding all stars is that the only hot beverage they offer is coffee. No tea, hot chocolate or anything else. They were out of lemonade and my water came with ice when asked no ice. I wish they would offer more breakfast sides but other than those requests Cafe Mimosa is great. After dining here, I now know exactly why my friends rave about it. We came here around 10 am and it was pretty busy. However we were seated right away by the lovely host. We ordered the Sonoma County Burrito and the Burger as well as Eggs Benedict. Also even if you don't drink, order an orange juice because wow their orange juice is probably the best one I've ever had in my entire life. For the breakfast burrito it was just okay. I felt that there wasn't much flavor even with the provided sauces. Eggs Benedict were a classic. Can't really go wrong with them. However the STAR of the show was that burger. The bbq sauce they use was so sweet but not in an overpowering way. It paired so nicely with the meat. The burger was also BIG, so you definitely got a bang for your buck. Everything about it was just so insanely good. If you don't like breakfast foods then I highly recommend you get their burger. I was really excited to try this restaurant. I love to visit Santa Rosa, and have had some pretty good luck finding great local businesses in the area to support. However, this one kind of fell short for me. The parking area is packed and finding a spot was kind of difficult, but once we got inside we were seated right away. The restaurant was very clean looking and modern. The service was friendly, but very slow. I felt really bad for the family next to us as they asked for their check 3 times over the course of 15 min, then waited a while longer until their payment was tendered. The raspberry mimosa and corned beef hash were okay, but definitely not worth the wait. For 2 entrees and drinks it was about an hour and a half from entering the restaurant until we cashed out. On a lazy Sunday where you are having multiple drinks that can be okay, but on a Monday morning it was just too long. I'm not sure if we will be back, maybe we will give it a try when we have more time to have a couple more drinks. read more

Giving it 1/2 way between my 2 experiences. First time I went was 5 stars, I got a Sonoma Breakfast Burrito. It was very good. Good amount of cheese, well seasoned, good sausage, potatoes, no complaints at all. Again: well seasoned. Second time I went was 1 star, I got the chicken fried steak. This was the most bland chicken fried steak I've ever had at any restaurant. The batter on the steak tastes like it has literally no seasoning at all. No salt, no pepper, no garlic or onion powder, no paprika, NOTHING. I had to salt it quite a bit at the table. I ate it because I was hungry. Would def not order that again. I can think of at least 2 other places in Santa Rosa with FAR superior chicken fried steak. In addition to the flavorless batter, the steak itself did not seem good quality, and was also totally unseasoned. Batter also didn't really adhere to the steak, so it was falling off and I was manually putting it together on the fork. Kind of weird. read more

The sauce was good not too bitter good flavor. The eggs were cooked perfect and I got tons of avocado very yummy. My bf got the two egg breakfast the potatoes were crispy but didn't have much flavor. Also our food wasn't very hot when we got it so that was a little bit of a bummer but overall tasted good. The mimosas tasted great felt like they had a great ratio of juice and not too sweet. Best place to visit for a birthday brunch! We went there as a party of 6 and each of us ordered a different item. Every dish exceeded our expectations. My huevos rancheros were fresh and flavorfully on point! The waffles were fantastic as were the omelettes and the Cajun shrimp salad. They're a mimosa restaurant which means they know their mimosas well! We ordered the strawberry mimosas (the whole bottle of bubbly) and it came with strawberry pieces in the flutes and a beaker full of strawberry juice! Katherine, our server was just a darling, treating the birthday girl to a separate glass of mimosa of her choice (watermelon) in one of the cutest of presentations! Came here for brunch today and I was seated right away. I know this place usually gets really busy during the weekends so that was a nice surprise. I ordered the Mimosa Sampler, Mango, Guava, and Peach, the French Toast, and the Santa Fe Chicken Sandwich. Everything was really tasty and this is definitely my go-to place for delicious Mimosas with a huge variety of flavors. Our server, Courtney, was incredible as well and checked in on us regularly. They do charge a fee for certain credit cards though, so definitely be mindful of that. The food was good, I ordered the chilaquiles but the customer service was just awful. My server never offered me a refill in my coffee nor did she bring out my husbands toast with his food, she brought it out as he was finishing not to mention it was already stale. My husband and I like going to Mimosa a few times a month and we have never had such bad service, perhaps it had to due with our server being new as we haven't seen her before, if so she wasn't properly trained at all. Love the service here, consistently friendly and accommodating. They can host large parties/events at this location. One thing to note is that they won't sit you until your entire party is there. This place never disappoints! I've been to the Rohnert park location a couple of times so this was my first time at this location. It was pretty busy for a Sunday around noon but there was zero wait for two people which was nice. We came in and got sat right away. The space is much bigger than the Rohnert park location so there is a lot more seating. It's on a busy street. Parking was a challenge. You are lucky if you get a park in the parking lot provided since it's pretty small. We ended up parking in the neighborhood a block over. Service was great which says a lot because almost every table was full. All the servers check on each others table which was nice. The manager was active and serving as well. She came by each table to make sure service was good. I was impressed. Food was great! I ordered the full stack of pancakes with a side of chicken apple sausage and my husband ordered the eggs Benedict. Both were really good. The mimosas are always good here you can never really go wrong. I ordered a glass of pineapple juice that cost $7 which was alarming when I got the bill since a mimosa is $8 I thought it was a little pricey for the pineapple juice to be $1 less than a mimosa. So 4 stars for the high priced juice that tasted store bought not fresh. Other than that no real complaints and we will definitely be back when in the area. read more
