a menu for a pizza restaurant

Simple cafe food that comes out quickly when you have the hangries from the convention or water park. Go to items like chicken tenders, pizza, and giant rice Krispy treats. Hot yummy fries and all the sauces you can think of.

Food was cold. Service was slow and not very helpful. One person working counter during a busy time.

When you are in the main conference area, you have multiple options for food. I was able to look at the kids menu before committing to the meal. While they offer Mexican food, they still offer burgers and chicken nuggets for the kids. I ordered the bowl with Taco beef and it hit the spot. So nice to have decent food when taking the kids somewhere fun. My husband enjoyed the enchiladas and there was plenty of spice. The waitress was quick and accommodating. Would definitely go back when in the area.

The service was friendly, attentive, and informative. The staff made excellent menu recommendations and ensured everything went smoothly throughout the meal. I ordered the shrimp quesadillas, which were excellent. I typically do not eat refried beans, but they were so well prepared that I finished the entire serving. Overall, it was a very positive dining experience. Second Visit: (0/5 Stars) Unfortunately, my second visit was the complete opposite. I dined with a group, and while our waitress greeted us promptly with menus and water and took our orders in a timely manner, not all of the orders were entered into the system. Some appetizers arrived within a reasonable amount of time, but our group waited over an hour for our entrées. During that time, several parties who arrived after us were served, finished their meals, and left while we were still waiting for our food. After the extended delay, I spoke with multiple staff members, including the restaurant manager and a resort manager, to inquire about the status of our meals and to express our concerns about the excessive wait. When the food finally arrived, we discovered that one of my entrées had never been entered into the system. As a result, I had to wait an additional 45 minutes for that meal to be prepared and served. I also attempted to speak with the restaurant manager, Jessica, regarding the situation. Unfortunately, while I was explaining my concerns, she walked away before the conversation was finished. I called after her in an attempt to continue the discussion, but she continued walking without acknowledging me. I found this interaction disappointing and unprofessional. The restaurant ultimately apologized to our group and generously comped our meals, which was appreciated. However, the overall experience was overshadowed by the excessive wait times, communication breakdowns, and the lack of professionalism in addressing customer concerns. Based on this experience, I believe there is significant room for improvement in communication and coordination among the kitchen staff, servers, and management. Better operational processes and stronger customer service practices would go a long way toward preventing situations like this in the future.

I had a long day at work and did not feel like making dinner so I decided to grab a classic plate of enchiladas for takeout. Never really had enchilada like this but they were some of my favorites. Very rich red sauce. Well-cooked and tender chicken that had the perfect bite every time. The cheese was light and profuse. I finished the entire meal in one sitting although realistically this could feed 2 ppl. Although they could be misconstrued as sidekicks, the rice and beans were the star of the show. They were incredible and savory. I may just get these if I were alone.

Silly me, I started speaking Spanish to the server and she didn't speak Spanish. The server shared she was new and I could kind of tell cause she really could not answer a lot of my questions. After reviewing the menu, and didn't see what I wanted or an à la cart section, I decided on chile relleno de queso and hubby got Fiesta Mi Tierra and a horchata. While we waited , we munched on the chips and salsa. The chips were tasty and had just enough salt. The salsa's were good and progressed in heat from mild to ouch. lol So, my husband hardly ever puts salt on anything. This time he kept reaching for the salt. I think he was salting the beans and rice. He said the proteins on his plate were very tasty. I had the same issue. The beans and rice had no flavor. The rice looked well cooked but no flavor. The relleno was ok. I think the homemade tortillas were the star of the meal.

I ordered a Mango Mohito - it was delicious. We also ordered a Guacamole for the table. A woman came out with the avocado's and all the ingredients and made fresh Guac to order for us. That was outstanding. The ubiquitous chips and soupy salsa on the table was just OK - though we did snack on it endlessly. Still, it didn't have texture, tang nor taste really. Just a somewhat soupy sauce. I ordered the taco salad with chicken and my husband had dual burritos with refried beans and rice. They were good entrees. They filled us up. The portions were generous. Were they the best Mexican food we've ever had? Not really, but it was good food and we enjoyed our meals. We'd go back to El Rey Azteca again if we found ourselves in Wilkes Barre. You will enjoy a meal there. (PS Another customer the evening we were there was raving about their Cuban sandwiches - we didn't try those. You might if you stop in there.)
