First time here. This is the best med/greek food I had around this area!! I had the comb kabab with, salad, roasted potatoes and drink. Meat was juice, salad well balanced, potatoes great seasoning. But $18 for that seem very pricey to me. That why I didn't give it 5 stars. If they lowered the prices a bit I would come here more often read more

Cafe Moderno is a masterful blend of excellent service, reasonable portions, affordable prices, and an inviting ambience. I have stopped by Cafe Moderno quite a few times and would highly recommend it as a wonderful place to bring a date. It is easy to find (right off the 10 freeway) and inviting, and their baklava is quite good. The hummus is also superb. Grilled salmon with roasted potatoes and grilled vegetables was awesome! The fresh made pita was light airy and a touch buttery. Can't believe they have such a great healthy lunch for under $12.00! Really good Mediterranean food. Freshly made every time and really nice and friendly staff.

Service was good and portions were pretty big/filling. Flavor of the food was really good. The problem we had was 2 out of 3 of our chicken kabobs were raw when we cut into them. They took it back and recooked them but I think they violated a health code cause they should of brought 2 brand new of them. Server said the cook apologized but she could of at least offered a free dessert for the trouble. Wife is feeling a little sick from thinking about the raw chicken. We would of been repeat customers but after that raw chicken incident this will be our one and only time here. read more

Inspired by the great flavors to go 5-star. Chose Chicken Souvlaki with Moderno's Greek Salad and roasted potatoes as sides. Pita bread was the freshest. This was lunch so I only tasted my to-go tiramisu, and it's 2 thumbs up. Good coffee. Perfect service, this place is on my go-to list. Heard several other positive comments while here. This was a nice find for our lazy Memorial day. We actually came here as our first choice was closed for the day. The place and setting is fairly simple but nice. We ordered some wraps ( falafel and chicken) and they were just awesome, we ended up ordering one more gyro wrap as we couldn't get enough of it, the wraps are simply great. The falafel was done medium, the way it should be, not burnt and dry, same foes for the meats The Mediterranean fries were as well spiced just right and go great with the food. we are definitively coming back. read more

I did not like this place at all!! I got a chicken and steak kabob with the Mediterranean fries. Okay the meat was the toughest meat I've ever bitten into. It was ridiculous!!! Café Moderno is delicious. Their lamb & shrimp is ridiculous, especially when you pair it with grilled veggies, basmati rice, hummus. The chicken is so bomb, an it is a great value when you get the wrap. The pita bread is fantastic, and that really adds to the wrap's quality and value. read more

I love this place. I stumbled upon this place randomly, while in the area and looking on yelp. I am SO glad I gave this place a try, it is now my go to restaurant when i'm craving Greek food. I always get the chicken souvlaki with rice and the cafe moderno salad as my side. The Tiramisu is amazing as well. Take out is relatively fast and the service is always top notch. Do not order their dolmeh(grape leaves), you could tell they were left overs because the leaves were stiff and the rice inside was stale and hard. Their chicken kabob was okay, they only give you a tiny amount of tzatziki sauce to go with it and without the sauce, the chicken is dry. Good service though but food not so much. read more

Good food, overall, but the Mediterranean fries were disappointingly soggy. Everyone had a taste of each dish and we all agreed that the tzatziki burger was delightful. I'm Lebanese and always try to find best Mediterranean places I can when I visit an area. I enjoyed eating here simply because it hit the spot. My gyro sandwich was good, spinach feta pies were very spinachy but still a decent taste, but my hummus was very very bland (like no flavor of lemon or garlic or tahini or salt), almost like it was just mashed chickpeas. Love this little cafe. Stumbled upon it while getting my car serviced at the Firestone near by. Atmosphere is quaint and modern. There's a little patio with 4 tables, two of which have umbrellas. The menu is simple and easy to read. I ordered the single Hummus Plate which is served with warmed pita bread. The Hummus was clean and fresh, with a drizzle of olive oil. It did not leave the usual garlicly taste in my mouth. The service is ubber friendly. If I had more time, I would have stayed and had a full meal. I had a Theo's Greek salad for lunch. It was perfect and everything tasted great!!!!The pita bread was warm and soft. And the hummus was also good.
