My first time visiting this place and I have to say I'm disappointed. We ordered the Nutella honey cube because the cashier said that's the most popular one and also the passionfruitade. The honey cube is just toasted bread cut into cubes, drizzle with honey and Nutella, 1 scoop of chocolate ice cream and whipped cream on top. It tasted average. There wasn't anything special about it like you could have made it at home. The inside is nice. The ordering area was clean, ordering was fairly easy. Once you order, you go through a set of doors and you see different environment. It's all white with chairs and table for you to sit. It's decorated nicely too. The flaw that this place had was it wasn't as clean as it should be. When you go in to the area where you get your order you could an odor from the bathroom. In the mens bathroom the floors were completely wet. In the womens it was neater. The longer you stay, the more you get used to the smell. When we got our order we got two forks. Both of the forks were dirty. You could see a lipstick stain on one of them. They also had an area where you can get plastic utensils and napkins too. read more

I was really excited to try this place but it was ok. I definitely like Magnolia better! Cute setup. Although some of the tables weren't clean. We got a sweet potato latte, watermelon bubble tea, and red bean snowflake. I thought the sweet potato latte was gonna be like Magnolia's purple potato latte (my all time fav) but it wasn't (probably should've figured from the name). It literally tasted like sweet potato and they sprinkled the top with a purple powder (maybe taro powder?) The watermelon bubble tea tasted like watermelon milk and the bubbles weren't even sweet! Lastly, the red bean snowflake was way too sweet. The mochi was also dry. I wouldn't get any of these things again! I love the honey toast here! While not as aesthetic as Magnolia, I like having the bread already cut up into bite size cubes. Not only is it easier to eat, but I feel like individual bites allow for each piece to crisp up and have that lovely crunchy outside but pillowy soft inside. I have yet to try the snow/bingsoo here but I snuck a peek at some other customers and it looked pretty tasty! The menu is not too expansive but what they do offer, they do well. This would be a cool and trendy place to take a date, although I didn't care for the elevator-type music they played. Hidden gem in Chantilly that everyone needs to try! I would've never discovered this place if it wasn't for my friends! The name of this establishment doesn't really sound like a place for dessert but it has a nice ring to it so why not. At first I was confused because there were no sittings available with the exception of one table at the front. That's until I saw a couple come out of the back through some curtains. I knew they weren't employees so I checked it out and what do ya know? You'll enter this very modern, aesthetic, bright area with sofas. There's other cool designs too but I can show you better than I can tell you so I'll upload some pictures! We ordered the matcha snowflake and it was worth every penny. Not too overwhelmingly sweet but balanced out with the right ratios. They put a macaron, pocky stick, and a scoop of green tea ice cream too! We followed it up with the Nutella honey butter cube and wow...it literally just melts in your mouth. Just a tad bit heavy on the butter but it has butter in the name so I was expecting it. This has been a go-to hangout spot for my friends and I since it opened last year. This is definitely an instagram cafe, with seasonal decorations changing a little throughout the year (Christmas, Valentine's, etc.). However recently I feel like the quality of the food went down, the butter cubes are more crunchy than before and the bubble tea has become more watery. However, I still recommend this location if you want a nice place to chill with your friends, but be warned that it gets quite crowded during the weekends. The cakes and other drinks have stayed pretty much the same and the prices are alright. Overall I think it has a great atmosphere for Korean style aesthetics, but don't go only for the food. read more

There's a line between "overpriced" and "aesthetic", and Who Seek walks it very carefully. While the dishes were overpriced just like at most other "aesthetic cafes", the cafe's decorations were definitely a notch above most other places of this type. The art pieces, couches, mirror, etc all make for very good photoshoot settings. Also, as dumb as it sounds, if you're down for photoshoots then the bathrooms are also very pretty and decorated to the max. As for the actual desserts, we got the matcha bingsoo, and it came out very quickly. Also got the rose -ade. Both were very pretty, and like all other millenials visiting this cafe, we took a ton of pictures of ourselves posing with them before we ate. The bingsoo was pretty mediocre, but the rose -ade drink was surprisingly very appealing to me. It was topped off with petals too, which is something I haven't seen at any other cafes. Overall, definitely worth going here at least once to appreciate the decor and aesthetics. read more

I thought the seating was just outside and on the side, but then I took a couple more steps toward the bookshelf...the bookshelf slides and *jaw drops*. Surprised by the back seating. This cafe is really unique in how the cafe is designed inside. The ordering area is in the front and you have to walk to the backside and enter through the sliding door to get to the order pick-up/sitting area. I went here twice - once on a blind date and once with my current boyfriend. For the first time, I thought it was just a small black area with a counter in the front and three tables. After ordering, the blind date showed me the back room (where it's white and very modern, the chairs are very new and comfortable - overall a great environment). First time we got honey toast with ice cream (forgot which one). It was very very good, but definitely had trouble finishing it. The ice cream should be eaten quicker though - it started melting halfway through, making the honey toast soggy. I really enjoyed that blind date (and the food), but things didn't work out Second time I got the chocolate bingsoo with my boyfriend. He was also really surprised at the secret entrance to the fancy white room with all the extra chairs and tables. It was also really cool how they bring the food to the counter inside the white room. The bingsoo was better than most other places I've had, though it is a bit heavy with all the chocolate and stuff. Anyways I liked both, and the environment makes it great for either a date or a hangout! I would definitely go again. Who Seek is a really cool spot. It's a Korean dessert joint. You walk in to order at a counter that seems like a trendy place to grab and go some ice cream. But it's not exactly ice cream but rather a bunch of very large and decadent dessert creations. We ordered and suddenly around the corner you walk through some blacked out automatic doors into a trendy sit down spot where Instagram pics are probably taken very often. It's super cute! The dessert was yummy. We had the Oreo cream macaron yum yum and the tiramisu snowflake was good too! Lots of yummy treats inside of it. Overall 4 stars, but -1 due to price. A cute new dessert place to try for snowflake ice, honey toast, and bubble tea. We went for dessert after having dinner at Taste of Korea. The shop should really look at creating a promo for 10% dessert here or something if you eat dinner at TOK. The store itself is very clean, black front, stark white in the back with pops of color. We ordered a couple snowflakes, a hibiscus tea, and cappuccino. Both drinks were extremely basic. We assumed the drinks would at least come out in cute mugs/real tableware like the shaved ice did. If I'm paying $4+ for a bag of tea, it should at least come in a mug. The shaved ice is pretty good. We've had matcha, coffee and strawberry. Matcha and coffee are very good. The strawberry uses compote which we're not fans of. Each shaved ice comes with a scoop of ice cream, a macaron, slice of cheesecake, and a couple pocky sticks. Good, but not sure it's worth $15 good. Cute place to check out for something new with new scenery, but not sure I would crave this all the time for $15 a pop. We spent $43 on dessert for 4 people, and only 2 people had a drink. read more

When you walked into the store it's dark with digital menu and nice decoration around the register. Walking through the store, behind the door, it's a super bright room. Walking in be ready to be able to see each other's pores. Great place to take pictures. We got matcha snowflake, we wished that the shaved ice is actually matcha flavor. Just finished a Father's Day feast at Taste of Hong Kong and everyone was stuffed, but I on the other hand was not about to pass this opportunity to taste as many bingsoo flavors as I could. Like no matter how much you feel like your stomach is going to explode from fullness there is always room for bingsoo. My dad told the family to "find a partner" to choose a bingsoo to share and we ended up getting the matcha red bean, mango cheesecake, chocolate brownie, and chocolate oreo. This is was my family's first time trying bingsoo in generally and I was excited for them to try it. The chocolate brownie and chocolate oreo tasted pretty similar but obvious choice for my little nieces. The mango cheesecake was not too sweet and all the flavors complemented each other well. My favorite and the one I chose was the matcha red bean which SLAPS. I was surprised the mochi also had a filling and of course the cereal at the bottom always hits hard. This was my worst desert cafe I have been to. I ordered tiramisu snowflake and cost $13.78. When I got snowflake, it looked as good as picture, but tasted horrible. I don't know about the other snowflake but tiramisu one was nasty. Also I can taste "mint" from ice and I think it has an old fridge taste. Pretty cool concept. You walk in and everything seems pretty dark and minimal. I ordered taro milk tea with boba since they were out of smoothies. Pickup area is in the back hidden by a sliding door. I loved this concept - when the door opens you just see bright and white, which is very different from the front. There is a lot of seating and also the pickup area/window. The taro tea wasn't that good, watery flavor and the boba was too soft and mushy. However I'd come back to try something else. read more

Walking into the cafe I thought this place was extremely small since there were only like 3 tables next to the cashier. However my friend had led me to a wall and it had opened!!! Even the bathroom had LED lights and because of the decor it made the place very youthful and modern. I had the Tiramisu bingsoo, Potionade, Honey Butter Cubes, and Rose drink. The tiramisu bingsoo is huge and definitely needs to be shared with at least 3 people. The bingsoo is very sweet and yet tasty as you get the different flavors of tiramisu in each bite. The honey butter cubes are one of the most popular items here; or so I've been told, so I decided to try them. (You get a 10% discount on them if you check in on yelp!) A little bit disappointing when taking the first initial bite as you realize they are just toasted white bread cubes with honey drizzled on them; but my friend seemed to have enjoyed them. The drinks... you can definitely tell that the drink Calpico was used in both of them and it had overwhelmed the drink as that is all that it taste like. It looks small & dark when you walk inside / front counter but you can go towards the back and through the doors (seemingly leading to the kitchen or no where) there is a larger room that's very inviting, bright & picturesque ! I've tried the snowflakes (shaved ice) in the matcha & chocolate flavors & the Ade (sweet, carbonated fruity drink) but what I'll remember & come back for are the Honey Toasted Butter cubes.
