    Hot Honey & Ham

The Hot Honey & Ham is a seasonal menu item, and it has peach in it, which makes it so good! The staff is friendly, and it's such a perfect spot for a light but satisfying lunch.

Such a cute little café right next to my work, which was perfect for a quick lunch break. I ordered the avocado toast and loved the twist they put on it: cream cheese, everything bagel seasoning, hot honey, and a sprinkle of crushed pepper that gave it a little kick. The portion was just decent and at $7.99, it's a great value for the quality. Super convenient location for me since I work in the building next door. It's part of my regular lunch rotation. I've had their bagel with cream cheese as well as the breakfast burrito which were decent.

Sandwiches are great here, super tasty and filling. Ambiance is immaculate. I love the classical music and service was fast and respectful. Definitely will be back for lunch more often.

A hot, delicious, fresh bowl of chili was perfect for a rainy day. Will definitely go back for more!

I decided to go to Cafe O' Deli for a warm bowl of chili on a rainy cold Monday. The fall in Cali is not usually cold but due to the rain, I chose something warm. They had a few different soup choices but I chose chili because it's hearty and full of protein. I ordered the half sandwich and soup combo thinking it will be enough for a light lunch. To my surprise, the bowl of chili was amazing! The owner told me that their soup is made fresh daily and not from a can. Wow I can really taste the difference. The chili was full of beans, and ground beef. It was topped with cheese, crackers, and my favorite, Tabasco sauce and boy, it was the perfect combination of tangy spicy and heartiness. I also ordered the hot pastrami sandwich on a baguette bread. Usually baguette breads are hard and too brittle but not the bread here. They did a great job in keeping the bread with perfect softness. I especially enjoyed extra pickles with the right amount of mustard. While the seating area was not crowded because the time was late afternoon, I highly recommend this place. It's cozy, friendly, and the food was perfect! Bon a-petite~

    This way!

Oh yeah! the O'riginal Club sandwich was a winner. The presentation (albeit in a plastic to go box) was pleasant. I ordered the wheat bread toasted and it came out just right. The sandwich was filling. I ate half and I saved the rest for later. Easy access? Check! Right off the 5 and the 133 Simpsons Dart Board? Check! Plenty of parking? Check! Nice place for lunch.

    Avocado Toast~ Looks awesome!

Excellent place to grab a healthy meal. Their Avocado Toast stole my heart. Great atmosphere and indoor and outdoor dining.

Upscale cafeteria food. Fair, quick and satisfying. Exactly what I expected. First time here. Not surprised but not let down either. Asian family run (not talkative but not rude. their English is good). Pretty quick service. Soup was pricey for what it was but healthy and fresh (veggie). Sando (italian sub) was ok. Fresh bread. Easy in and out. Would I come here again? Absolutely. Would I crave it from a distance, maybe not.

It's just because I don't know what it means to practice financial discernment when it comes to fresh bread. And welllllll, look at who's back at Brio Brio Bakery & Cafe again...... I used to come here way more often back when I had recurring appointments in the area, but these days I rarely ever find myself in South OC. Tonight, however, I had a last minute opportunity fall into my lap when I was invited off the wait list to attend a Yelp Elite event at Onyx Golf. Naturally, I had to make an "unnecessary" bakery detour before moseying my way over to the actual main event. Listen -- you have your priorities and I have mine. We listen and we don't (critically) judge! Upon arriving to my old stomping grounds, I immediately went for my usual: the hojicha Basque cheesecake. Some things don't need to be reinvented. It's still rich and creamy as ever, and it's basically the reason I still come back to this place. Since I don't get down here as often anymore, I figured I'd live life a little more frivolously and grab some items I haven't tried before, such as their prime beef curry, kurobuta miso sausage, honey toast, and a GF brownie. My plan for a sweet treat quickly evolved into a larger commitment of carbohydrates, but honestly, I'd like to think of these items as a gift from past me to future me. Brio Brio is also running a promo right now where you get a free cookie with purchase during certain hours. I just want to be fully transparent that I don't remember what those hours are or how long the promo is running, just that it's a weekday ordeal. I know, incredibly insufferable Yelp Elite reporting on my part. You'll simply just have to go in and ask them about it or look for the signage near the register, and then purchase that item you need to qualify for the deal to begin with. Consider my review a very detailed advertisement about a potentially complimentary cookie that idk how to explain the sourcing means for. Lmao, my bad, y'all. Either way, it was refreshing to visit again after all these years. If you're stopping by Brio Brio, you really need to get the hojicha Basque cheesecake. That's singlehandedly the menu item I'll keep coming back for, even when it means I'll be suffering in rush hour traffic on the drive back home.

We ordered a strawberry soufflé pancake and a breakfast burrito with carne asada. The pancake was delightfully jiggly, fluffy, and the perfect level of sweet. The burrito was pretty big with plenty of meat and a good flavor. Very good experience overall and would definitely recommend!

Lots of little birds hanging around but they didn't bother you. Just watch out for little bird offerings on the tables and chairs, if you know what I mean. The avocado toast was super quick. The soufflés took a little longer. By the time my Starbucks drink was done, our soufflés were brought out to our table. This was my first time trying Japanese pancake soufflé so wanted to get the original. It did not disappoint! It was light, fluffy, and reminded me of custard. Not too sweet either. By the time we left, it was closer to lunch time and it started getting more crowded. I would like to come back and try their lunch menu sometime. I can see why this place is packed on weekends. Sherman, the owner, is absolute class, he's always welcoming, super friendly, and genuinely cares about the food he serves and the people coming through the door. I went to the Anaheim location a few time since I live near there, but they can't compete with this place. One time, I placed an order for pick up and I was an hour late due to helping someone with an errand. They gave me a ring and a courtesy reminder to ask if I was still coming or if I was ok, and they even offered to make me a new one! If that isn't service, I don't know what is. 11/10 would recommend.
