Fun, creative, small, and cozy cafe located on Broad ave in the Bergen area. Like most establishments in the area, it's based on korean snacks & drinks. The store isn't that big, but it has plenty of seating and few long tables for students to work & chill from what I saw. Parking is terrible though since it's all street parking and it's luck of the time and day you're in the area. The staff here were friendly and the facilities were kept well maintained. They have a broad menu choice with different types of icecream/bingoo on the menu, baked goods, and drinks like bubble tea(boba). Last time I came here, i ordered the matcha bingsoo and strawberry bubble tea. I really enjoyed the creativity of the drink since it came in a plastic light bulb shaped cup. The only thing about this place was the price. It was definitely expensive for what it's worth but I enjoyed it. I definitely recommend people to give this place a try for some creative looking desserts. read more

Love their poopoo and injeolmi waffles!!! Not too sweet and ooey gooey :) the ice cream is definitely a plus if you eat it with the waffles! The service is very nice and the space is little but worth coming at least once! read more

heard about yet another new cafe in pal park so i had to check it out. was so pleasantly surprised by what they've done with the place. the decor is great and the menu extensive. the owners are from seattle so they brought a little "west coast best coast" flair to jersey! things i tried: ssuk injeolmi waffle 8/10 chewy and crispy, the waffle itself is very yummy, but the ice cream/slivered almonds/syrup/strawberries served with it take the dish to the next level. you can find similar menu items at other cafes but i've tried them all and this dessert is more than that-it's a sweet and more substantial post-meal snack :) nata de coco 10/10 basically a sorbet(?) with fruits and lychee jelly. very fresh, very yummy, and very worth it. it was my favorite menu item... liked it so much that i would go back specifically to eat it... even though its a little pricey at $8. taiwanese taro bingsoo 7/10 the texture of the bingsoo is different. and they serve it with forks. but be not deterred. the dduk/lychee jelly/tapioca bubbles served with the bingsoo make the mouthfeel exquisitely textured and the flavors play off each other well. def a standalone bingsoo to visit for. also it looks different from the other bingsoos served in palpark bc its not nec style. sea salt iced coffee 9/10 salty, smoky, savory. the iced coffee is really good. they serve it with milk foam on top and it delivers. better than the other flavored/specialty iced coffees in the pal park area. it could almost be a dessert by itself bc of all the yum flavors together. read more

They have a variety of interesting Korean style smoothies and sweets but I'm giving only 2 stars due to service. There were 2 idle staffs at the counter and both just stared at me with blank faces, not even a hello. When I asked them what kind of a flavor is "taro bingsoo" they couldn't even tell me what it is and one of them just said it's a shaved ice like I'm an idiot. I did really like "yuza smoothie" which was what I ordered but it's unlikely that I'll go back to this place anytime soon. At least not on Wednesdays when these women are working. There's plenty other cafes like this literally every block on Broad Ave so I recommend going elsewhere instead. read more

We liked the Matcha Bingsu, but we wish that it could be in a smaller portion at a lower price. We shared it by 3 people; otherwise too much sugar in content. So if one/two of us don't want Bingsu or the same flavor, we couldn't order this. Or, one of us may want waffles there. It's always good to have more options. read more

Their kimbap is awesome. I heard that it's homemade and it definitely tastes that way which is really the best kind. I haven't had much else here. It's funny how I come here for their kimbap more than their cafe related food but it tastes better than a lot of other kimbap's I've had in Palisades Park! read more

This cafe is very cute (to me) and has more seating than some of the other cafe's on Broad Ave. The teas my friends and I had were very good and I think the prices were pretty standard. The only caveat is that they don't carry skim milk. However, this seems to be common for the area (are there no lactose intolerant Koreans?!) so I won't gripe about it. And yes, they take credit cards. read more

Came here with a friend to get some writing done. I only had the sea salt coffee and it was great. It was one of the better cups of coffee ive had from a cafe without having to bog it down with sugar. The staff here is great and very welcoming. There is ample seating, prices are fair, and they have free Wifi if you need to get work done. read more

Stopped by this place sometime in April. I ordered a Mango bingsu and ate it there. Seating area was really nice, the music playing was great and I enjoyed the HUGE dessert with a few friends. Portions are huge which is nice because it makes it worth the price & the staff is awesome! I'll definitely be back soon. read more

I really don't want to give this place a 5 star rating simply because I don't want my favorite coffee place to be crowded but what the hell. This place will definitely survive in NYC with 4.5 star rating because their sea salt coffee is from a different dimension. Thank god I don't have to cross GW bridge for this. I live in Wayne NJ and it takes good 30 min (one way) drive to get here... And I come here every Sunday morning as if this place is my church. Just for the SEA SALT COFFEE!!!!!! I might love this coffee more than I love my dogs. Well.. On similar level I suppose. Owner of this place, if you are reading this, god bless you and please make extra large size. A brand new hot spot to be sipping on the famous sea salt coffee and munching on their wide variety of snacks. Their kim bap and waffles are hot sellers. Great atmosphere to socialize and study. I also tried their bulgogi sandwich and scarfed it down with some more sea salt coffee. I live 30 mins away and this place is worth the drive!! read more

I had their taro bingsoo to go and it was really good. It wasn't anything too special like the other bingsoo in the area, but I enjoyed the bubbles and jelly and mochi. The flavor was different, because I haven't seen other cafes offer taro flavor. Service was good-- the workers were friendly. The atmosphere was typical cafe-like. The sea salt coffee was good, but small for $4.50. I'm sure i can get more bang for my buck elsewhere.

Absolutely beautiful place, great music, real baristas that know what they are doing. They have a new twist to desserts such as their pupu bread (Nutella!!!), sea salt coffee, and a Korean twist to waffles with real honey. Came here with a friend and tried the creamsicle bingsoo. In my opinion, it was really sweet and it's mostly made of candy. I would recommend this to someone with a sweet tooth. Otherwise, the atmosphere was peaceful and plenty of seats. read more

I went to all the bakeries in Palpark and Oak Cafe seems to be one of the hot spots to visit.The staffs are approachable and nice. Their sea salt coffee and injulmi waffle tasted pretty good, but their wasabi kimbap is my favorite. Most of the bakeries now sell kimbap in Koreatown which seemed a little bizzare to me at first, but bakeries' kimbap tastes way better than kimbap selling in Korean restaurants. Overall, the place is clean and tidy; it is an ideal spot if you are looking for a place to study during weekdays. Unfortunately, there seems to be no outlet so you should fully charge your laptop if you plan to go study. read more
