The food is great. The blonde guy behind the counter is too serious, maybe too stressed everytime we go there and it reflects on his service which deters us from returning often. This place was so good. We never knew there was an Asia town in OKC and we were even more surprised to find such great Asian food here. The mom & daughter who work there are so friendly and nice. We got the general tso chicken and it was crunchy and flavorful. I also got the rose iced tea which hit the spot on a hot day and wasn't too sweet. The spring rolls were great too. No, I go straight for the taro drink with mixed fruit jellies -- absolutely and maddeningly good stuff! I enjoy the takoyaki here, as well -- sweet memories of street stalls in Japan. (Portions are comparably small, yes, but you don't come to a drink place such as Oasis to gorge. You come here to SNACK.) This restaurant is a hidden gem in OKC! I have to start by saying that the prices are unbeatable. All entrées are between 6-8 dollars, and they are large enough to fill you up and take some home to-go. With every meal you receive a complimentary cup of egg drop soup that is tasty as well. As a vegetarian, there are plenty of options for me, and they even have a section of their menu dedicated to their vegetables. I typically get their cream cheese wontons, tea, and one of their vegetarian entrees. I am NEVER disappointed. The staff is limited but still very attentive. I typically receive my food in under 10 minutes no matter how busy it is. I strongly urge anyone in the area to try out this place. It's located on the top floor connected to the Asian market. We thought it would be a good idea to get groceries at Cao Nguyen and grab a quick bite here. We haven't been here in 8 years and it's owned by new people now. They have boba tea drinks and a menu for food. We didn't try the drinks but we ordered from the menu for food. The prices looks like it's cheap but they have a surcharge they don't tell you about. For example, you want beef noodles? That's $2 extra. If we would have known that we would not have eaten here. You get a tiny portion of below average food which makes sense at the price they list on the menu because it was like $7-8 but with the surcharge we ended up paying about $22 excluding tips for two entrees. Two very little entrees. So heads up, ask before you order because you may be pleasantly surprised like we were. Wouldn't recommend. read more

My wife and I both love this place. The staff are fun and friendly. We feel at home when we're there. The food is always on point and the boba teas and smoothies are delightful. If they have it you can get a complimentary cup of soup. The egg drop soup is my favorite. I'm also a big believer in the Singapore noodles and the flat noodles with wet scrambled egg sauce. Cafe Oasis is a very interesting, legit, kind of weird place, but their ambiance and tea makes it worth it. It's across the street from a giant cathedral, and the building is flashy and looks like it belongs in LA. You walk into a giant atrium/mall/.....place. Take the elevator or stair up to the top then turn left. Cafe Oasis is at the far west corner. Look for the little tables in the "hall." The customer service was "meh," especially with the significant language barrier. They got my stuff out quickly, and she was nice enough, but definitely nothing spectacular. The cream cheese wontons weren't quite what I expected, but they were still good. I'm 99.99% sure there's nothing but cream cheese in them (whereas other Asian restaurants I've been to have had spices in them.) The egg drop soup was decent. But the ambience is what I'd come back for. Modern meets hipster. Hipster meets art gallery. Art gallery meets comfy bar area. Like. What?!? Plus there's wifi. So. This place is so cute. It's a great study spot and also a great spot for having a meeting. I've seen people from all walks of life walk in here. I have been looking all over OKC for the best fried rice and I have finally found my favorite! It is so flavorful and delicious. Ask me if I like bubble tea. Go ahead, I'll wait. Okay you're taking too long, I loooooooove bubble tea. I get excited when I think about bubble tea. "How excited?" you ask. Imagine how excited Anthony Weiner gets when he's near a cell phone. That's me near boba. Café Oasis hits all the right notes when it comes to flavor and price. Except most recently, the Thai tea was kind of watered down but not terribly so. The drinks are (generally) delightful, and they're all reasonably priced. I can't imagine you'll find a cheaper option in Asiantown; $2.50-$3.25 for drinks are some of the lower prices I've seen in OKC, but they're all relatively the same in this part of town. My only grievances (and they're minor) would be the limit set to use a card (which is a given at most if not all Asian establishments so I suppose I can't hold it against Café Oasis specifically), and the fact that I have to climb the stairs to get to this little oasis. Laziness is barely trumped by cravings for a delicious drink. It's a great place to stop and relax after having lunch at the amazingly delicious Banana Island on the first floor. In fact, you're silly if you go to Café Oasis to eat because the food (while not terrible) is not why you should be going there. Eat at Banana Island (or Super Cao Nguyen), then go to Café Oasis and relax with the inordinate amount of hipster folk who seem to hang out inside. I like to pretend I can read the Japanese magazines when in actuality I'm people watching. P. S. Customer service is average, best described with a shoulder shrug. My son and I love boba, and like to have a cup of it for our 90 minute drive home from the city. This week we decided to give Cafe Oasis a try. While we were not disappointed, it was immediately obvious to both of us that this is likely our only visit. The location is handy, and the sticky nature of the shop could have been ignored, but the drinks had us both wishing we'd gone to a different place. When I say drinks (plural) I actually lie. My son does not like his bubbles trapped below liquids. He wants them on their own, in a cup, with a spoon. His standard order is 4 scoops of tapioca, hold the drink. You would be amazed at how difficult that can be to order. He informed me that the bubbles here are well cooked, but that the syrup was overly sweet. Because we were driving we did not get a chance to stop and rinse them off, which he has been known to do! My drink was so sweet that it was difficult to drink, and I could not taste the flavor over the sugary syrups used. Not good, especially since I'd ordered the avocado smoothie, which is generally on the lower end of the sweet meter when it comes to boba drinks. I don't want to imagine how much more sugar would have gone into a fruitier drink. The price was fine, and as I said, the location can't be beat, but this shop simply was not the oasis I'd hoped it might be. read more

Such a cool environment. In the Asian district and a part of the building which is connected to a fabulous Asian supermarket where it is common for people to just tour the place because it is great. Lit up orange palm trees and marble statues in front. On the second floor. Couches, tables and chairs, hanging lights. Very cozy. BIG windows to let in the natural light and give you a good view of the OCU campus. BONUS: They have a few high tables as well, so if you are a perfect 5'5 like me, you can comfortably stand and do your studying. (Muy importante). 2. The boba teas and smoothies are really good and not expensive, rivals any place I've ever been to in Orange County. They use real avocado and you can order things off the menu like a hot almond milk tea (or maybe that is on the menu. I don't know.) and they put almond slivers in it. 3. The food: I usually just get edamame. EDAMAME! I also had some of my friend's shrimp fried rice and it was YUMMY/addictive. 4. Before, I had problems with the internet, but I think the internet has improved. - It is always 100% on my mac now. 5. There is a bathroom in the building on the 2nd floor and you just have to ask for the key. I feel really comfortable here. Has been my hangout/study place for many years, and the owners are super cool/laid back/nice. I heart teh Azns. Bohemian Azn goodness. Oh and there is a huge parking lot right in front. This place has THE best hot boba milk tea in OKC. I have ordered hot milk teas at many places and they either tell me they can't make it, can't make it hot, or that I can't add boba it. Cafe Oasis is different. They make my milk teas hot just like I like a hot tea and add boba for me. Their flavors are excellent. They even cut the straw openings for me so I can put my boba straw.
