It is my understanding that this place has been voted #1 boba in California. As a person with way too much free time, no dignity, and a little to no fiscal responsibility I would have to agree with that #1 rating. I have even gone as far to complete/black out a SoCal boba bingo card and I would say that all other places pale in comparison to Cafe Pruvia's flavors, store aesthetic, customer service, speediness, etc. I'm also not a coffee person and I actually enough their lattes and cappuccinos! The texture of the boba is the perfect softness and chewiness. I don't know exactly how to explain it but all the friends I've surprised with boba from here agree it's the best. I often get 50% sweet to pretend that I'm healthy and their 50% sweet do not taste like a watered down drink at all. I feel like such a fool because I used to live by here and I moved. Now I find myself driving out of my way, 30 minutes, just to get boba from here. I can guarantee you'll have a 10/10 drink, assuming you order a flavor you like. Cafe Pruvia is a great business, so I offer the following as constructive feedback. After I ordered my drink, I waited outside for my name to be called. A few minutes later, a young lady opened the front door and quickly said something that I couldn't make out. I saw the customer before me get her drink and I also headed down in case the young lady had my drink. However, she went back into the business and put the drink on the ledge next to the window. I decided to wait for her or another employee to come back outside again to call my name. This time I stood a few feet in front of the door so I wouldn't miss it. After a few minutes, she retrieve my drink, opened the door partway, said something in a low voice which I could not make out, and, instead of waiting to see if I responded, quickly closed the door and placed the drink on the cash register counter. I walked into the shop and asked if the drink was for me, and she said "Yes." I think that the employees needed to be trained to say customer's names loudly, at least twice, and wait at or outside the door for a few seconds before returning inside. This will improve customer service a lot. read more

I love trying new places to eat as well as new coffee places. Stumbled upon this place and luckily it's not too far from home. I've been multiple times and I like to try a new drink each time. Every time I am not disappointed. Their coffee is the best...not too bitter or strong. Super smooth with a rich taste to it. Same goes for their teas and milk teas...it's awesome you get to choose your sweetness level but even at normal sweetness it's always just the right amount! Cafe Pruvia is a beautiful family-owned cafe that serves coffee / boba (I personally recommend the iced latte with oat milk), and even flavored milk drink for young kids (the strawberry milk is a big hit). From the menu to the interior decorations to the genuine greetings, you can tell right away that the owners poured their heart and soul into this place. Once there is a vaccine for COVID and it's safe to dine in again, I look forward to studying/working here (heard there is a charger at every table!). Amazing new place for boba. I am a big fans of boba and have been trying so many places. I would rate this 10/10, one of the best boba so far. The size of boba is smaller than usual cafe, making boba so soft and chewy and no hard part in the middle. The milk tea itself is deicious - not too sweet, not too dense. Saw all the glowing five star reviews so we thought we'd give this place a try. The drinks were on the cheaper side but I'm guessing that might be because they only just opened, and the service was friendly but unfortunately the drinks were a real let down. We ordered the strawberry milk tea with boba and the Pruvia milk tea with boba. The strawberry drink looked like it was made with a purée of real strawberries as the bottom layer but when I tasted it it tasted artificial, and there was no tea flavour at all, more like a melted strawberry ice pop. The Pruvia milk tea was watery and thin, with very little flavour and a flat sweetness that tasted to me like artificial sweetener not real sugar. Also not sure what form of creamer/dairy they are using but it lacks creaminess. Shame really, the place seemed cute but as someone who has milk tea on a regular basis, I can hand on heart say that this isn't the spot to come, you will leave disappointed. read more
