Yelp says I'm a regular here and my wallet refuses to believe it. I've been here more than 7 times now. Don't tell that to my wallet. Matcha Swirl is my go-to drink. If you are familiar with OMOMO and their infamous matcha drink it is almost comparable. To be honest I like both. But Cafe Pruvia is just closer to me. The cafe is nice and spacious inside. It's very clean and they have many seats available for all you people who like to work/study in a cafe. The staff is very friendly and nice. Lines get long though so be prepared to wait sometimes. Cafe Privia is a wonderful locally owned, up and coming cafe. The matcha drinks are the recommended ones, and are delicious. We also got a snickerdoodle (my favorite cookie) and it was massive, not to mention delicious. We went here after having a heavy meal, and it was very refreshing. The inside was super clean, and they require only one part inside ordering at one time. Lots of people congregate here to study or to hangout. The restrooms are single stalled gender neutral. I had an issue where the door only opens with a key, and the key was left in the door, which had me walking in on someone!!! (Sorry if that was you). Second time here. I got the Pruvia milk tea with boba, 100% sweet. It tasted a little watery to me, maybe their milk to tea ratio is a little off. I had their matcha blended swirl last visit which was a lot better IMO. Boba texture is nice and soft, but very bland tasting. They don't flavor their boba. Unsure if this is this is normal or they just didn't do it today. It's nice and clean inside with plenty of tables inside and outside to study. I got recommended this place by a friend that's in the South Bay area and we decided to meet her there. I ordered their Matcha Milk Tea, 50% sweet w/ black tea and boba. The only con for this beverage was the boba. Like other reviewers have stated, they're a little stingy with their boba and the quality was not up to par as well. However, their matcha was really good and had no bitter flavor profile. One of the best matcha milk teas I've had by far. Plenty of seating inside and a few tables available outside as well. I've been to many, many tea and boba places in LA and San Diego but Cafe Pruvia is pretty S tier for their tea strength and presentation. I specifically got the Hojicha Latte w/vanilla cold foam and it was phenomenal. The strength of the hojicha's earthy flavor pierces through the cold foam and makes for such a brilliant treat. What makes this even better is its a great place to sit down and get work done. Calm environment with ton of outlets. Be careful though because it does get very very busy ao if you are planning to work better hope you get a table. The cups are beautifully adorned with the crowned logo and matte cups which just makes this feel like a premium boba shop. I believe their milk teas are made with whole milk by default, so if you have dairy restrictions let them know. I had the jasmine milk tea with soy milk and boba. I didn't think much of it initially, because I'd never heard of it before and there is so much good boba in L.A. that is talked about all the time. Parking is easy since there's a large lot. Lavender Matcha Latte - drink is tasty! You're unable to adjust the sweetness of the matcha itself but you can adjust the pump of lavender. Only downside is that your lavender flavor wouldn't be as strong. I kept with their original sweetness and it was just a slight bit too sweet for me. i've been to cafe pruvia about four time and all times have been pretty consistent. i've ordered their mocha swirl, blueberry matcha, and honeydew slushy. it's located in a plaza in gardena with other great shops. it's in the corner of the plaza. it can get super crowded on the weekends but weekdays are fine usually. you come in and order on one of the two tablets and it's no cash. there's plenty of seating, around 10 tables so it's a great place to study. there's wi-fi and restrooms. their music can be loud so bring headphones. the drinks tend to be too sweet for me so i always order it less sweet. my drinks come out fast and efficient. they're also photoworthy as well. it's pretty spacious and a good place to try read more

All workers here has their own uniforms and inside the shop looks like the remains of a Roman marble shop. White walls, white tables with a feeling a freshness. As for the drinks, all drinks were reasonably priced. All under $5.00. I personally got the matcha latte, hot version. The rest of our party got Thai Tea and different flavors of milk tea. Everyone was ecstatic of having their drinks, and like most places you can adjust for sweetness. You can also put in add ons like boba for $0.50 more. I've been here a handful a times pre and during the pandemic, and they have consistently made boba tea drinks with the upmost quality, taste, and service. I usually order either the Cafe Pruvia Milk Tea w/boba or the Hokkaido Milk Tea w/boba. The tea quality is good here, and has consistently tasted earthy, light, and fresh. The boba is done very well here with the just right amount of firmness. I usually order sweetness at 50% and each time it's been adjusted correctly. I'm a huge boba nut, traveling far and wide across Los Angeles for the best boba. Cafe Pruvia was a great addition to the boba scene, much needed in the South Bay Area, as there is a lack of decent boba shops in this area. As far as parking goes, during the day you probably don't have to worry about it as this is located in a large plaza. I can see possibly this place getting crowded at night time during the weekends as there are a few restaurants in this plaza. The interior of this place is very nice, very clean. Kind of a fancy fine dining or afternoon tea kind of vibe. Of course for the pandemic not all the tables are open for indoor seating but there were a few tables where people were studying and as well as outside seating for socializing. Super clean bathroom which is a ++++. The workers were nice and drinks were made in a timely manner so nothing to add about that. I do wonder how they will hold up if there ends up being a long line. I imagine the swirl drinks taking a long time to make. Also their cups are thick and sturdy! Great quality. The taro swirl was beautifully made. The swirls were so aesthetically pleasing, I wonder how much effort goes into each cup. I feel like taro milk drinks have been trending up in recent boba places. 10/10 for effort. Nowadays you can find places that have fresh taro or a mix of fresh and artificial taro. I actually prefer the latter kind but Pruvia's tasted probably all artificial. Don't get me wrong, I love artificial flavoring and sometimes crave only that but nothing beats a bit of fresh taro. This drink gets an 8/10 for me. It's possible that they make their own whipped cream too, as the whipped cream on mine seemed over whipped, with a curdled appearance, but the texture and taste was perfectly fine. The passion fruit green apple tea you can get either with black or jasmine tea. As far as the jasmine tea goes it's decent. You can taste the slight floral jasmine flavors and a little bit of bitterness. As far as the passion fruit green apple combo, I like it more than I do not like it. Definitely syrup which I don't mind too much but if I were to get this drink again I would bump it down one sweetness level. This drink gets a 6.5 /10 for me. Their boba was definitely one of the better ones I've had. As more boba shops open in Los Angeles I am usually surprised by the number of shops who aren't able maintain the quality of their boba. Pruvia's boba is on the smaller side, similar to YiFang or the pearls from Tiger Sugar. With the smaller variety it is much easier to overcook so the boba itself was a bit more on the chewier side without a slightly undercooked core. So basically theirs was ever so slightly over cooked. I like my boba with a chewy outside with a little bit of a undercooked core, I guess to set it apart from tasting like jello. All in all their boba gets a 7 from me. Why 4 out of 5? Pruvia is a great addition to the boba scene, probably my favorite in the South Bay. My favorite boba shops are actually in the Orange County area. Although their drinks are good it can be better. What Pruvia is missing to me is that the addition real fresh flavors in conjunction with artificial flavors. I feel like the tea flavor can be slightly improved but I've really only tried their jasmine. Finding that perfect balance of fruit flavor and tea is always difficult. I'm a sucker for a good lavender milk tea. Cafe Pruvia is one of the places here in the South Bay that has it on their menu and they nailed it! Cafe Pruvia is located in a plaza where there's several boba tea shops, and therefore has a ton of competition. The specific suite has had so much turnover in the past 5 years, and none of the shops could stay open. I love that it is like a craft coffee/tea house. I'm not a coffee drinker, but they look really good. They have a ton of lattes and milk teas that I'd want to try over time. I'd say their flavored tea selection is more limited to a few classic flavors. Like I said previously, I tried the lavender milk tea and it was really good. I got it half sweet and it was perfect for me. I noticed they have a lavender matcha latte that I'd want to try as well! They do both hot drinks and iced drinks so it's perfect all year round. I also ordered the Hokkaido milk tea for my husband. It's one of his go-to drinks. As soon as he tried it, he loved it. And I agree. The drink has a distinct and strong tea flavor that's not masked by the Hokkaido syrup they most likely use. It's one of the best Hokkaido milk teas we have had. I initially walked into the wrong one by mistake, my bad -- but the coffee in there smelled heavenly so I will have to try it some other time. At the correct place, my iced jasmine green milk tea with boba was great. I normally order all my boba drinks with "no sugar" and sometimes it's a gamble but I don't like my drinks too sweet, and it worked out fine for me here. The boba was just sweet enough to balance the strong jasmine green tea taste, and had the right amount of chew. (You could also do "half sweet," as their regular drink uses sweetened milk.) Milk and ice proportions were just right in my opinion. I also tasted my husband's Mango Refresher (slush) with boba. The mango flavor came through as authentically fruity, but of course a bit sweet for me. Slush texture was finely ground and soft, while still being ice cold like slush should be. The cups are pretty and stylish, the plastic is code 5, which is accepted in my city for recycling. I've been hearing how this place is the best boba shop in all of California, so I went today and my friends and I ordered the matcha swirl and taro swirl. This is the first boba place that I went to that actually lived up to the crazy hype expectations. There was a line when I went (Saturday afternoon) that took around 20-30 minutes to get to the front and order. Once we ordered our drinks, it took them around 20 or so minutes for them to make our drinks. It took longer than I usually wait for a boba drink, but trust me it's worth the wait. I can't really say much about their other drinks since I only had the taro and matcha swirl today, but those two are FANTASTIC and I highly recommend you get it.
