The food, service & decor here is amazing. I got a chicken shish kebab and it was so tender. The Turkish tea is delicious as well & the decor is beautiful, I like the lamp chandeliers. After eating, you pay up front at the register.

We met friends at Cafe Sabah for dinner and had a wonderful meal. Everything was delicious and the staff were nice, welcoming and helpful. Hubs ordered Lahmajun with beef and lamb. Luckily he shared a bite and it was really yummy. I ordered Spinach Gozleme which is served with tzatziki. The spinach was so delicious, perfectly cooked, and the tzatziki was tasty as well. We all shared a muhammara, which had amazing flavor and we all loved it. Though unfortunately it was a bit too spicy for me so I couldn't eat much of it, even though I would have loved to have. We also shared an order of yummy Kunefe for dessert. Highly recommend, this was our first time at Cafe Sabah and we'll definitely be back.

Happened to be in the area, so decided to stop by for an early dinner. There's a pretty big parking lot around the building. The restaurant itself is pretty large too, with 3 different seating areas. When we arrived, there were a few parties already there in the middle and left sections. For some reason, they sat us in the right section all my ourselves. Other parties that came in after us were all sat in the middle section, so we were the only party in that area the entire time. We did get service, but it was extremely minimal. They didnt check on us at all, and we sat around for quite awhile waiting for someone to come by to get us our bill/clear the table. It definitely felt like we were being segregated against, as we were the only East Asian party there. :c We did really enjoy the food. Flavors were on point. But unfortunately, the service and maybe segregation overshadowed our entire dining experience here.

We enjoy going here! The service is good and the food is outstanding. I love their babganush and flat bread. Everything is fresh and flavorful. My kid was getting hangry and the nice lady gave her a lolly while waiting for the food. They have parking in the back too. There is a lot to try out! You can't go wrong with the popular items like their kebabs and salads. They have plenty of seating and you can kind of see into the kitchen and you know it's good when you see the chefs carefully hussle.

Low on spice but high on flavor, i love Turkish Kebabs. Turkish cuisine is all about letting the natural taste of the meat shine through the flame, and no one does it better. Cafe Sabah is one of my absolute favorite spots for Turkish food in the Seattle area, and their mixed grill platter is my go-to. It comes with seven different kebabs, giving you a little bit of everything, and every time I've had it, it's been consistently great. Here's my latest experience, ranked from my favorite to least favorite: Beef Meatballs (Köfte): These are hands-down some of the best köftes I've had in the U.S. dense, juicy, seasoned beautifully with Turkish herbs, and grilled just right. They're moist and slightly pink in the center, with delicious mild chars on the outside. 5/5 Turkish-Style Beef Steak: Thinly sliced, lightly marinated, and grilled over open flame. Turkish steaks are intentionally done thin, which can be tricky to keep moist but Cafe Sabah nails it. It's tender, savory, and carries that amazing charcoal-grilled aroma. 4.5/5 Lamb Chops: Smoky on the outside, tender and flavorful inside. Rich, bold lamb flavor that makes every bite satisfying. 4.25/5 Chicken Shish Kebab: Always well-marinated, juicy, and flavorful. Chicken can easily turn dry on the grill, but they manage to keep it perfectly cooked every time. 4/5 Adana Kebab: Classic minced meat skewer: flavorful, and well-textured. It's not the absolute best Adana I've ever had, but easily one of the best in the Greater Seattle area. 3.75/5 Beef Doner: Thin, juicy slices that work beautifully with bread or rice. Soft, tender, and well-seasoned, it does exactly what a good doner should do. 3.75/5 Chicken Doner: Personally, my least favorite on the plate. I find Turkish-style chicken doner a bit gamey and dry, which seems to be a trait of the preparation style rather than execution. Iraqi shawarmas sometimes share that same texture profile. So it might be a matter of personal taste. 2.75/5 With all these comes a portion of jasmine rice -- fragrant and light. Just keep in mind: Turkish cuisine traditionally serves small portions of rice, which is actually quite healthy but might feel a bit small if you're expecting a heavier base. My tip: ask for some Turkish bread on the side if you're craving more carbs. The platter also comes with a refreshing yogurt dip, which balances the meats perfectly. Beiti kebab: I often go the extra mile and order the Beiti Kebab separately, specially when my party is 3+. Since it's wrapped in soft lavash and drizzled with warm tomato-butter sauce, Beiti Kebab is at its absolute best when enjoyed dine-in, fresh off the grill, juicy, and comforting, with a side of yogurt to cool it all down. A must if you're exploring Turkish flavors beyond the basics. 4.5/5 *Beautiful traditional ambience, Zabiha Halal meat, serene prayer room

Outstanding Turkish restaurant in a tucked away neighborhood in Renton. Muhammara spread had a pleasant mild taste. Menemen was a perfect tomato based egg dish for breakfast. The star dish we had was the beef and lamb combo, with a generous serving of juicy flavorful lamb Adana, meatballs, lamb chops, and beef gyro. Authentic Turkish coffee like I remembered in Istanbul. Plenty of seating, so you can bring a big group. Our server was so warm and friendly and even offered us to try their Turkish tea on the house. Come and enjoy their warm hospitality and a delicious meal without needing a passport!

One of my favorite places to get Turkish and Mediterranean food! All of their foods were fresh and flavorful! They have a large space to hold lots of people and even have a private dining space too. The service was spectacular. They also have a very large parking space in the front, the back and to the side. My favorite was the beef plate that they had but everything that we had was delicious, the service was super friendly. I highly recommend and would come back.

Unfortunately this place is not what it used to be. The food flavor has changed and so is the service. I am not sure if they hired a new manager or if the place was sold but this is not the same restaurant I used to go to and enjoy.

Beef and lamb plate was good. Also had some shakshuka which was a different mix than expected... Kunafa for dessert was good. Water was surprisingly very refreshing too. Lastly, there's a prayer area if you need it.

Very tasty Turkish food in Renton, on the pricey side but worth it! Private parking lot in the back. We loved all the dishes we tried: +Mix Appetizer - if you have a large party, this is a great choice. You can choose 4 different dips to try, and it comes with fresh pita bread. My favorites are baba ganoush and the grilled eggplant. +Manti - good as an appetizer to share or main entree for one. I love this pairing of minty yogurt and meat dumplings. +Mixed Grill Kebob - generous portion, all the meat were tender and delicious. +Mevlana pide - surprisingly good flavor, like an elevated pizza. I couldn't stop eating it. Dessert is too pricey and nothing special, I'd skip it. Also they serve breakfast!

Very good Turkish food! We wanted dinner to-go so we looked at the online menu which had lots to choose from. Prices were a bit more the we expected but we got 10% off our online order. So we ordered-- Kelle Pascha soup- garlicky beef tongue, beef meat soup. It was good! The tongue was very soft and tender. Came with amazing Turkish bread. Mix Appetizer- it said "pick 4" on line but we didn't get a choice somehow. No matter, they were ALL good! Tzatziki - nice but it was the least favorite of the 4. Shakshouka- eggplant, pepper and garlic in a tomato sauce. It wasn't spicy but VERY flavorful. Liked it a lot. Baba ganoush-not as heavy as we had it in other places but nice and lemony with eggplant, tomato, garlic and lemon. Hummus-very smooth. We could taste the tahini -yum! It came with a big round of Turkish bread which was soooo good and hearty. None of that flimsy pita bread you get at other places Etli Ekmek ground beef pide- it's kind of like a flat bread with stuff on top. It had ground beef with chopped tomato and green pepper. Had a lot on top and was very tasty but a little pricy for what we got (6 pieces) Gosleme-stuffed flat bread. You could have it stuffed with spinach, potato, cheese or ground meat. We chose the spinach and we really liked that. Pistachio Kadaif- dessert with pistachio and phyllo and I think honey. It was not overly sweet and the texture and flavor made it another of our favorite. There were more we wanted to try but alas, we were too stuffed! Def coming to dine in to try more. It was a great meal!

Came here with group of friends and really liked the food. Was disappointing with service being extremely slow, we came here pretty hungry and the wait time was too much. Even our appetizers came out late. Appetizers- Veg flatbread was good, appetizers flight was great. The bread came out so cold, wish it was warm. Main course was a hit with us, everything was spot on- Eggs, Meat and soup. Deserts were soo disappointing, nothing seemed good, we tried 3 of them. Great place for Mediterranean food scene in Renton, much needed infact.

In the months leading up…read moreto the wedding, we liked and trusted the owner, and paid him to provide water dispensers for all our guests, because the venue did not have any. Naan N Curry also stated they would make a plan to get leftover food to our guests. The day of the wedding, less guests arrived than were anticipated. Despite having paid for food in anticipation of 240 people, perhaps closer to 160 showed up. Around 9pm, the caterers left without communicating with us; no food nor water remained, and the plates, silverware, and cups that we had purchased and brought to the venue ourselves, were no where to be found. That Naan N Curry took the water when they left created a near-crisis situation, because it left us with with only a water fountain to hydrate 160 thirsty guests. While we understand they were required to work within contracted hours, we cannot grasp why they took our 300 cups which we could have used to mitigate the water problem. Their failure to communicate their departure prevented us from addressing the water issue proactively. Additionally, we did not understand why there was no food left if we had ordered food estimated for 240 people, and only 160 showed up. After the wedding, we followed up with the owner of Naan N Curry and visited the restaurant to recover the plateware, napkins, cups, and utensils which were intended for our wedding. When asked about the missing food and water, he provided a several explanations: 1) that he had not taken any food back and there was none left; 2) that he had communicated with our families about leftover food when leaving; 3) that guests took 3-4 plates and ate all the food, despite the lesser guest count; 4) that a worker hired by me had thrown food out; and 5) that guests had taken food home, despite the fact that no takeout containers were provided to take food home in. While we are trusting in nature, I am an investigator by profession, so I followed up for testimonies from our guests. My inquiries with more than a dozen guests and workers found that: 1. Workers and guests deny eating or seeing any others eat 3-4 plates; some state that they were turned away from having seconds. 2. Workers and guests became aware that Naan N Curry had leftover food, including "in the back," close to their time of departure 3. Workers and guests attest to Naan N Curry packaging up leftover food and bringing it back to their van 4. Workers and guests deny throwing out any trays of the food at any time. 5. Workers and guests deny taking or seeing others take food home 6. Workers and guests deny that Naan n Curry informed anyone of their departure, and that they only became aware of the water situation after they had left us with no water and no cups. The issue here is one of principle: We paid for food for 240 people, and offered the Owner the opportunity to explain how there could possibly be no leftovers, when merely 160 people showed up. However, he could not articulate a credible reason. As a caterer of 20+ years, his assertion that the food purchased was only sufficient for merely two thirds of the anticipated guests, cannot be believed, unless he were inept. I don't believe he is inept, and I believe his explanations are disingenuous. At best, the water issue is an enormous oversight, and at worse, negligence. We never were given an explanation why Naan N Curry took our plateware, cups, and utensils. We are aware that his crew also took another vendor's table clothes. We have been allowed to recover our goods post-wedding, though the question remains why did he take these items in the first place? When we confronted the owner about the above issues, he blamed our friends, our workers, and us. We had liked him quite a bit, and found him to be paternal and kind, so this was all upsetting. Perhaps even an apology or honest discussion would have sufficed to settle the score. However, after all this, we can only conclude that we've been ripped off for thousands of dollars.
