    Chicken enchilada combo
    Becca D.

Amazing service. This place was packed with families and large groups. We had a party of 3 and were seated quickly. Our server was friendly and checked on us a few times during the meal. Other staff did too to make sure we were enjoying our meal. I had the enchilada combo plate which was decent. There are not many food options in the area so it was nice to have a sit down restaurant so close to our campground. They are along the water and it was a great place to relax before heading to the campsite.

    Chicken Fajitas

Had a great experience at Cafe Sabor! Our server was amazing and made us feel welcome from the moment we sat down. We were greeted with fresh chips and queso right away, and our drinks came out almost instantly after we ordered them. The food was excellent--I got the chicken burrito, and it was huge, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. Everything came out quickly, the service was outstanding, and the atmosphere was great. I would definitely recommend Cafe Sabor to anyone visiting Island Park!

Check out the Specials. 2 Fajitas on Saturday for $25.

Conveniently across the Snake River from Springhill Suites. You can walk literally accross the river. The Staff are friendly and a place where the get to know you. They are genuinely top notch people customer servive. They turn your table quickly. Food was great and the Specials are unbeatable. Clean restaurant and rest rooms. There is a small sports bar and I believe addition seating up stairs. Nice place to go after a visit to Yellowstone. Definitely a place to return. Like this past visit.

Wow. This place was great. Exactly what we needed. The queso was on point, the salsa was also so good, got a refill. The rice, cooked to perfection. Beans, amazing. Taco and enchilada? Great as well. Nothing but good things, great spot to stop on the way to/from West Yellowstone

You don't have to be dressy or childless, but the menu and ambiance are ever slightly more grown-up than other options. Prices reflect that while still being reasonable. Standard salads were refreshing start to unwind after crowds at Yellowstone. Excellently buttered and pan-seared trout with grilled asparagus and sauteed snap peas were wonderful. Timing is everything. Try to arrive before 6pm to avoid the queue. (Restaurant opens at 5pm; moderate sized dining room.) The (Montana-sized portion of) huckleberry ice cream seemed popular with many diners.

One of few venues that would take reservations of this size group. They have a good amount of indoor seating. We sat on the umbrellaed patio, near the musician, just around the corner of the bar from games like cornhole. They were busy, but service was attentive. Many of us had craft beers and cocktails. Everyone was pleased, but i could not list all the beverages for you. We had at least one yummy fresh arugula salad with sirloin cooked-to-order and a lot of flavorful bacon, blue cheese crumbles, green onion, tomatoes, balsamic glaze, and thick "Texas" toast. We shared a number of the many appetizers: Crispy-coated sweet-chili Thai Shrimp were rather small but quite tasty. The tray of nachos was a glorious mess of beans, sauces and crema, mixed melty cheeses, olives, and meat ... i think we got the rich ground "buffalo". The "buffalo balls" were even messier: meatballs in deep gravy over mashed potatoes smothered in sautéed onions and mushrooms. We had "chicken "bites" with two of their yummy flavorings. The soft pretzels and cheese were long thick almost-loaves. And i completely lost track of the mains: several of their loaded burgers and overloaded tacos. The star was the 12oz medium-rare ribeye, topped with herb butter & demi glacé, loaded garlic redskin mashed potatoes, & thick garlic toast. This was a great immersion in great food, drink, ant atmosphere. The $44 ribeye was one of the top-two steaks we had during our trip. (July 2026). Pro tip: every steak is town was good, even the bargains you can find with a little hunting. But be sure to pay a little more once or twice to get the best.

The photos looked amazing, so after we checked in, we drove a few blocks to the place. Parking is limited but we luckily scored a spot. Atmosphere is very cool, bar/restaurant like with sports playing on large TVs throughout. It was kind of warm in there...not sure if they had a working A/C or if it just couldn't keep up with the bodies inside. There was a wait to be seated but not too bad. Maybe 15 mins and the place was packed. We were seated at a bar-like table between the actual bar seating and tables. The waitress was nice and had personality but was a bit stressed out and a little testy after we asked about our food 30+ mins after ordering it. Even the drinks took a long time to be served. I finally gave up and ran to the restroom...of course the food came as soon as I left. It works that way a lot for me. lol The drinks were good - the food was pretty good. Prices are expensive here, but pretty much on par with the rest of the restaurants in town. It's a tourist town in high season and they all know it. We determined not to come back for the next day's meals based on the slow speed of service and try different places in town instead.

They bring the receipt directly to the table with a QR code so paying was quick and convenient, and our server was super accommodating by splitting the bill four ways with no issue. The restaurant itself has that cute cozy cabin-style feel, plus they sell fun T-shirts and souvenirs inside. Extra shoutout for helping me wrap my breakfast burrito to go before our flight. They brought me foil paper so I could keep it warm, tossed it in my bag, and yep... I ended up eating it on the plane later. Definitely a solid five-star breakfast stop while visiting Yellowstone!

Old Town Cafe was our pick since it seemed to have a variety of different dishes, including options without meat, and the prices seemed reasonable compared to some nearby competitors. I definitely recommend giving this a try if you want to try something unique to the area. I'm all about casual dining, especially after a long day of activities, but will note that the waitress wasn't the friendliest and approached our table and asked how we wanted to pay the bill (one check or split) while I was only half finished with my meal.
