I can't say enough how amazing the service was here! We were staying in island park doing a tour of Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons and they were close to where we were staying and open till 9 and we came in right at 8. Even late the service was amazing! The inside is bright and clean and sits right by the river with a nice view. The carne asada was good and so was the shrimp quesadilla. The beer Rita's were great! If you're in the area stop you won't regret it.

Check out the Specials. 2 Fajitas on Saturday for $25.

Conveniently across the Snake River from Springhill Suites. You can walk literally accross the river. The Staff are friendly and a place where the get to know you. They are genuinely top notch people customer servive. They turn your table quickly. Food was great and the Specials are unbeatable. Clean restaurant and rest rooms. There is a small sports bar and I believe addition seating up stairs. Nice place to go after a visit to Yellowstone. Definitely a place to return. Like this past visit.

Wow. This place was great. Exactly what we needed. The queso was on point, the salsa was also so good, got a refill. The rice, cooked to perfection. Beans, amazing. Taco and enchilada? Great as well. Nothing but good things, great spot to stop on the way to/from West Yellowstone

First time I've had mole with peanut butter. Okay then, I'm sure you're wondering how it was. We'll, I wouldn't call it mole, but I liked and was confused by the flavors. It was like eating a light mole with a hint of barbecue sauce and peanut butter. I felt like I was a judge on Beat Bobby Flay when they say it was flavorful, but not quite the intended dish. The complimentary chips and salsa was great. The chips were warm and the salsa had wonderful flavors. We came here as it was one of the few places open late near our lodging. The inside is lively decorated and the wait staff are friendly.

Experience wise this was a bit of a mixed bag. We were a group of 12. When we walked in nobody greeted us for nearly 10 minutes. What's worse is several servers walked by us several times and instead of acknowledging us and letting us know it will be a wait, totally chose to ignore us. I had to go to bar and ask what the deal was before a manager finally made their way over to us and seated us. By the point it wasn't just our group waiting but two others. That knocked a star off for me. Contrast that with our server Isaias who was fantastic. Friendly, funny and making sure we were taken care of he really helped make it a better ending. The food itself was fine. I mean just fine. It wasn't omg this is awesome but good enough. The guac was weirdly coarse, just chopped avocado, not mashed. The queso was great. I had steak and surf and turf tacos with the steak being the better of the two. Most of my group enjoyed their meal well enough that there weren't any complaints. If not for the poor experience at the beginning it would have been 4 stars.

I arrived around 7 PM and grabbed a seat at the bar since I was dining solo. The restaurant was busy, but the atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable. For dinner, I ordered the Chicken Prosciutto Pasta with a side of bread. The pasta was outstanding -- easily one of the best pasta dishes I've had in a long time. The combination of braised chicken, prosciutto, mushrooms, tomatoes, roasted red peppers, and creamy parmesan-mascarpone sauce came together perfectly. Every bite was flavorful, rich, and satisfying without feeling heavy or dry. As someone preparing for a half marathon the next morning, it was the perfect carb-loading meal. I also ordered the Huckleberry Sundae for dessert. If you're visiting the Yellowstone area, do yourself a favor and try something with huckleberries. The ice cream, topping, and whipped cream were fantastic, and it ended up being one of my favorite desserts from the trip. One unexpected bonus was getting to chat with other travelers at the bar, including another runner who was also working toward completing a half marathon in all 50 states. It added to the friendly, welcoming feel of the place. Overall, Madison Crossing Lounge delivered excellent food, a great atmosphere, and a memorable dining experience. I don't hand out many five-star reviews, but this one earned it. If I'm back in West Yellowstone for another race or a visit to Yellowstone National Park, I'll absolutely be returning. I ordered the breakfast burrito with sausage, green bell peppers, onions, and eggs with buttery hash browns on the side, plus the soup of the day which was the Tuscan soup, and both were really good. One of my friends ordered the cinnamon roll pancake, another got the classic breakfast with buffalo sausage (which was surprisingly delicious), and the other ordered a meatless breakfast burrito. Everything at the table looked fresh and hearty. I also loved how easy checkout was. They bring the receipt directly to the table with a QR code so paying was quick and convenient, and our server was super accommodating by splitting the bill four ways with no issue. The restaurant itself has that cute cozy cabin-style feel, plus they sell fun T-shirts and souvenirs inside. Extra shoutout for helping me wrap my breakfast burrito to go before our flight. They brought me foil paper so I could keep it warm, tossed it in my bag, and yep... I ended up eating it on the plane later. Definitely a solid five-star breakfast stop while visiting Yellowstone!

After a particularly warm day of hiking, my husband and I resolved to try OTC -- especially since signs read that it was established in 2023. Keeping restaurants open is very hard work. I was interested in trying a buffalo burger while my husband looked forward to more trout. Since this is a family-friendly restaurant, perhaps the entry should be rethought. The door directly opens to the bar, which has high tables where families can be seated. (Here, we chose seats so we could watch the World Cup match.) There's another room with more conventional, lower tables. I asked for sliced jalapenos to be added the buffalo burger with cheddar, lettuce, sliced tomato, diced raw red onion on a toasted bun. Diners can specify to what extent the buffalo is cooked: medium or med rare are recommended. Substitute side fries for a side salad (romaine lettuce, cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, shredded cheese & crutons) for a nominal fee. * Ask your server to hold the cheese on the salad if you don't prefer it.
