Cafe Savor, is the only restaurant in Island Park, so we went. It's located on the river, with beautiful views. Packed house with a wait. Usually people are sitting out in the patio but on our visit it was raining. So there was a wait. The staff are super busy, actually running from table to table. I felt bad for them. They have a small bar area where we sat to avoid the wait. The food was bland bland bland... no taste whatsoever. I guess that's what people in this area want. They also had a couple of Italian dishes on the menu. It was fine, I ate it because I was hungry and had no other option. I actually don't know the alternative here.. there are none to be honest. read more

We were in Idaho and we were feeling hungry for dinner. We searched around us and we decided to have dinner at Cafe Sabor. We were greeted by our server Megan with water and menus. She also bought chips & salsa. After browsing the menu we decided to order Pollo con Crema and Polla a la Diabla. The service was good and we got our food in 10-15 minutes. The food was delicious and we loved both of our dishes. Wow amazing and delicious food. Loved the restaurant and its vibes. read more

Convenient, good service. The salsa is watered down but we enjoyed the dinner there several times on vacation. Prices are very reasonable.

My wife and I ate here early on a Saturday night. We both agree that this was one of the best guacamole dips we ever had. The ultimate margarita was the best I think as well with their homemade sweat-n-sour mix along with muddling of lime wedges. I had the chimichanga and she had the cali chimichanga ... both were excellent. We're off to Glacier National Park but will make sure we come back through here on the way back! read more

We come here every time we're in town. They always have quick and friendly service and good food. The free chips and salsa that they bring out to the table to start are yummy! This time we had the chipotle chicken salad and the pollo Durango. The salad was good but we wished they put more of the toppings on, they were a little skimpy. The dressing and chicken was tasty though! The pollo Durango came recommended. It was quite tasty but a very different dish for a Mexican restaurant. They brought tortillas out with it and we tried it in the tortilla but didn't like it. It was best on its own (in our opinion). We'll definitely be back to try more on the menu! read more

Cafe Sabor was Delicious! We enjoyed their complimentary Chips and Salsa, and ordered their Queso which was a little spicy and had great flavor. The Street Tacos with Carne Asada were to die for, the Deluxe Taco Salad was yummy, The Burrito with Salsa Verde was delish and the kid's chicken and fries were good too. I have eaten here a few times. I feel like the food and service is better during the summer months. The food was just okay -- my husband ordered fajitas and while they were warm, they were not hot and sizzling like one would expect. I ordered tacos, but they came out a full 10 minutes after everyone else's food. They were lukewarm and they were not the correct type that I had ordered. I was hungry so I told them I'd eat what they brought. My brother's burrito was cold. What made the whole experience miserable was the temperature inside the restaurant. We were all way too cold. None of us could remove our coats, and I even had to get up a few times to go shut the door because it would get stuck and stay open after someone would enter or exit. read more

Café Sabor is simply good. It's not groundbreaking but it shouldn't be. It's just straightforward delicious Mexican/Mex-American. I will say, after their renovation and because of the pandemic when I ate here just now it was a bit chaotic. But my preference for their food leads me to leave a five-star review. I LOVE cafe Sabor and have been to the one in Logan and St. George so I was excited to try this one in Island Park! The food was delicious although a bit cold but I can't blame anyone for that considering the place was super crowded with not enough wait staff. My heart went out to our server who was literally running from table to table. We all enjoyed our meals! My favorite is the cheese enchilada w and I add a chili relleno. I wish I would have gotten pictures. If you're looking for yummy Mexican food, don't hesitate to try it! read more

This is a beautiful spot to stop and they welcome dogs on the patio! It's beautiful and clean with plenty of seating. All of the servers were so friendly and attentive the entire time! Stayed at an Airbnb in Island Park during the off season and there was pretty limited amount of places to eat in the area. While looking for food, I came across this yelp page and seemed promising as a place to eat. I made a phone call to make sure if they're open and placed an order for pick up. We ordered carne asada fries and a chicken quesadilla and was told that it would be ready in 10 minutes. We picked up our food and headed back to our cabin. Food was still hot and everything was properly boxed in individual trays. The carne asada fries are well seasoned and are delicious! The chicken in the chicken quesadilla was also seasoned with something and it tasted delicious as well. The meal came with a big bag of chips and salsa so we had plenty of food for just 2 people. I haven't tried the salsa that they provided for us but the chips were great! For the portions and taste that you get in the meal, Cafe Sabor has great value. If I had more time in Island Park, I definitely would come back to try other foods that they provide as well as dining in. I would recommend trying this place out if you're in the mood for some Mexican Food. read more

Stopped here after our UTV adventure. Good and fast service. Food is decent. Rice and beans were yummy. Warning Enchiladas don't have any sauce on them. This was my first visit and it wasn't great. We went for a late lunch. It wasn't busy so we sat quickly. The menu has a good variety. The food was ok, I don't think there is another way to describe it. We waited an hour for our food after ordering and only got three entrees and waited almost 10 minutes for the last entree. They nickel and dime you for everything. There is a 3% kitchen charge which was strange. It seems like the kitchen charge should've been in the price. I asked for extra onions and salsa, each cost an extra $2, even though he forgot to even bring them until I was halfway done with my food. read more

Menu was amazing & my friends seemed to enjoy their meals, but I wished I would have ordered another option. I ordered the tequila lime pasta with shrimp. Note to self.. when you are in a Mexican restaurant.. never order pasta. The shrimp was spot on , but my Alfredo sauce was runny & no lime taste at all. Pasta was over cooked as well. The service however was very good . Very attentive & fast. We will be back through here & I am sure we will come back there. Their menu was pretty good. Our party of eight Arrived at the restaurant at around 5:30 as we were advised there was a live band on Wednesday night. Our friends had eaten here a previous night and said the food was good. Chips and salsa served was pretty good. I had a combo dinner-taco, tostada and chili rellano. The ground beef in the taco and tostada were tasteless, no seasoning at all and half the tostada was soggy. The chili relent was ok but very spice. The rice was so-so and beans just ok. My husband got the Monterey chicken which had tons of mushrooms but little chicken. Two ladies got taco salads that were ok but the shells were stale. Service was ok to start with but slowed down and we had to wait for drink refills for twenty minutes. The server messed up two of the bills. Probably will not eat here again. We're highly considering eating here the second night of our trip. The building was clean and they were able to seat all 9 of us right away.
